Ryan and Carol were very patient as I was jumping from one design to the other as I dint have a particular design in mind. With such beautiful designs its hard to pick one. The best jeweler in Arizona hands-down. My now-wife and I went to many jewelers at the beginning of our hunt for engagement rings and James Elliot was the first place we stopped. We fell in love but wanted to be thorough and continued to look elsewhere. By the end of the day we were back at James Elliot to discuss engagement ring ideas. I worked closely with Ryan and he designed a perfect ring using a center stone he provided and smaller stones I had from both of our families. When the ring was finished, 1 week before the planned proposal, he let me see it but took it upon himself to say he was not satisfied with the final product. He sent it back to the builder and corrected and back in my hands the day before I proposed! He also designed a necklace for my wife using her father's wedding band, a necklace for my mother, and our wedding bands. Ryan is beyond helpful and he will listen to any idea you have and design a masterpiece. Also has fixed, without issue, any problems that arose (minor things like the engagement ring seemed to catch on fabric too easily). Plus, everytime I stop by he shines everything to make it look like new! I cannot recommend them more to be the next jeweler you go to. FYI: There are 2 Ryans that work there. Both are fantastic but Ryan Hegger is who I worked with closely. read more

James and Felicia Elliott set the bar years ago and they continue to raise it! I am a repeat customer, but this year I just went in to just "look" for a new ring for my right hand before Christmas. James spent time with me, understood what style I liked and he showed me a ring I loved -- but then he had the idea to custom design one specifically for me. Yesterday I picked it up and it's so gorgeous! Now this is the the best part! Years ago James saw my wedding ring. I remember he said to me, "you should let me redesign the setting because there's so much metal around it and you will be blown away when I am done with it." But everyone has that moment where you don't really want to mess with your wedding ring because it's sentimental. Fast forward.....many years later I see him again and he said the same thing!! So now while I was in the store, he sat down with me and he drew up what he would change. The challenge was to make it look the same, but more modern and I really wanted to see the diamond more. So....I left my ring! I went in yesterday to pick it up and when I walked in, they said....are you ready for this? Apparently I wasn't! I literally cried (like a a lot) when I saw it. I think Ryan and Alex at the store think I'm nuts :) James told me he would blow me away and he did. I literally cannot believe it. I can't even explain it, but the characteristics of the ring are the same, but somehow he redesigned the setting and changed the ENTIRE ring. The diamond is even more beautiful now and it's an absolute show stopper and my husband agrees! You may THINK you have seen diamonds but until you've been to this ultra sleek jewelry store . . . you aint seen nothin. I have never seen diamonds sparkle the way theirs do. They make Tiffany diamonds seem "murky". The staff is phenomenal. They are super helpful, polite and no where near overbearing. I was able to try on anything I wanted and the fabulous older gent that was helping me stored the info of the ring I liked, my size and birthday in the computer just in case woobie wanted to get me a real treat. I was deciding whether to reset my wedding set of 10 years, but was afraid I would regret changing it. Well, then I met James! Talk about an amazing jewelry designer! I was absolutely blown away by the time I left the store. James and Ryan sat with me and listened to what I was looking for and hoping to do. They showed me the most beautiful setting to put my stone in. James's halo setting is unlike no other I've seen! His ring allows for other bands to sit right next to it, so you can add bands to it through the years. I felt like I could never add to my wedding set and now with James's rings, I can! They love mixing diff bands and diamond shapes together. With the other diamonds I had from my 2 rings, he wanted to put them all on one ring. And as a bonus, James came up with the idea to use all the platinum from my 2 rings bc they were blessed and from my set of over 10 years and made an additional band that represented our 10 years! He told me to wear it first bc its closest to my heart! Well, that made me cry! After a few weeks, my hubby secretly got the rings and surprised me with them on our 10 anniv! I can't believe these rings are mine and they were all from my original set. James literally used every single ounce of my original set in my rings! I'm in love with the engagement ring, but speechless on how beautiful and amazing my wedding band of my diamonds turned out! He doesn't use at much metal surrounding the diamonds and I've just never seen my diamonds sparkle so much! The platinum band he made of all my metal has just a very special meaning for me!
