I went in about 40 mins later to check if they received the order and they said yep and it's ready. This was after he looked at a piece of paper so I think they just work on older systems and don't have a POS system that works through DoorDash. FOOD: ordered for 2 people I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza which was 8 slices. Overall not bad. I really liked the sauce, tasted very fresh and tomatoe-y rather than spice forward. The dough wasn't bad either. Nothing wrong with the pizza just not my favorite. Mozzarella Sticks: BEST part of the order. Very long cheese pull. Marinara sauce was great. Highly recommend. Onion Rings: not bad but wouldn't order again. I'm not sure if it's because it was waiting for me so it wasn't crispy? Idk. I think the onion is mixed into the batter since I never saw the actual onion piece in the ring. Flavor wasn't bad but the best part is the crisp which was not there at all. I was very nervous about ordering here due to the reviews but I live 3 min walk away so decided to try it. Order never showed up. The store claimed I gave the wrong phone number when I order thru Slice which I order from on occasion with many restaurants. They still reused to deliver my order that I paid for after I called them and wouldn't refund me.... I had to get my money back thru Slice.... I enjoy this pizzeria. They are able to pretty much customize the pizza to your liking, even if you just order a slice. The crust is thin and crispy and never lacking in toppings. They also offer plenty of other options such as pasta, sandwiches, fish, and meat entrees. They have seating inside and outside for those who want to sit and eat there. read more

This was my second time here because I remember the first time and I remember the pizza being very yammy! They have a few selection of pizzas which look yammy as well. You can see in the pictures. I haven't had anything else but pizza from Sam's so far but they look like they have a great menu with very yammy foods. They have inside seating so it's great for groups. Didn't know what to expect about quality of food, but we were positively surprised - ordered multiple different things on 2 separate visits and everything was fresh, delicious, and the portions were generous. This place used to be one of the better pizza spots in the area, but over time the quality of the food has diminished. Last few times I was very disappointed with the food. The last time I ordered a calzone and immediately upon tasting you could tell one of their ingredients (Ricotta) was either A. Past expiration or B. Left out for far too long, because it had a VERY prominent acidic/tangy taste. It was pretty unbearable and the few bites I had ended up giving me a minor stomach issue for the next day or so. There's many different types of pizza around the world but the most popular are obviously NY and Chicago, and if I would call this anything I would probably call this BRIDGE and TUNNLE pizza. The reason I wouldn't call this NY style pizza (despite location and similarities) is because it doesn't taste like it much. Bn'T pizza is a new reference I like to use when describing pizza from Union City, West New York, Jersey City, and beyond here. It's a lesser version of a rich NY slice but more affordable and convenient. This is my opinion of course but in terms of rating this place and others alike as a Bn'T I'd give it a 4 star out of 5, but in terms of NY slices, probably a 2 or 3. If I could give it NO stars I would, but unfortunately I have to give it something in order to review!! I ordered a turkey sandwich, Italian sub and the most disgusting roasted chicken I've had in my life!! Let's start by the hot chicken was laying on a "warm" wilted cold salad and under the salad was soggy fries... the chicken was completely RAW inside. So, I called Sams to let them know about the raw chicken and the so called manager tells me I am lying! Became extremely irritated, combative and nasty! I teach a couple of blocks away and they do not disappoint. They sometimes have lunch specials and if you call head you can avoid the wait because they do get busy. They set up a couple of tables outside to eat which is good because it can get pretty busy inside. Food is great and they have a hamburger special that is really good for the price. I have ordered from this place a number of times. The pizza is good however everything else is very generic. The biggest problem with this place is that when ordering for delivery the people manning the phone do not understand English. On multiple occasions I have had to repeat myself over and over on the phone even spelling out my address and they still went to the wrong address. Also delivery times are long for this place and your pizza is sure to arrive cold. I have pretty much given up on this place. I order a plain slice and a pepperoni role. I corrected the guy when he tried to through a white slice in and couldn't tell he grab the wrong role. The pizza was cold and he gave me a hotdog role. The role was also cold and tasted terrible with half the dough not being cooked. On top of that they have signs up saying if you use a card there is a dollar charge, not even a minimum amount but just a dollar charge no mater what.
