The burnt and cold pizza I received.

Order a pizza with garlic knots. The driver was an hour late and as a result, the food was cold. What's even worst, they burnt the pizza crusts. The garlic knots were stale as well. I just wanted good pizza. Looks like this was the wrong place. Never order from them again.

While on vacation decided to check out some of the local restaurants near by. We stopped at this establishment because it looked like a neighborhood restaurant and my granddaughter wanted pizza. Definitely a little hole in the wall kind of place but with a huge personality. You get greeted immediately upon entering and you see and sense all the hustle and bustle behind the scene. We ordered pizza, pasta and their garlic bread. Everything was delicious. So much so that we had it twice in one week. If we find ourselves in that neck of the woods again, I know where I'm going for pizza.

This pizza hit the spot! I usually go for what I would consider 'lighter' pizzas (something with veggies) but this was a winner. The crust is between thin and regular which I appreciated...it had a chewiness that was nice. The pops of fresh tomatoes tied the flavors of the proteins all together. I added some truffle hot sauce I had at home and that was excellent. Would definitely order again!

We finally tried the pizza. And a gyro. And some wings (yes, the quarantine 15 is REAL). We had the Romano's Special Pizza (meatball, sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms and green peppers). I didn't love the thick crust but the rest of the pizza, including the ample amount of toppings made up for that fact. The gyro was surprisingly good for a pizza spot. On the other hand, the wings were not that good. They are heavily breaded, so it tastes more like you're eating buffalo-flavored breading instead of actual chicken. With so many different pizzas to choose from, we will definitely order again. Still have yet to try the sandwiches so that will be next!

OK I'll start off with the pizza (obviously) I mean it's decent not definitely not worth the price of five bucks per slice. Their ingredients are usually fresh and the pizza stays OK for like two days. also have some desserts in the soda fridge. I mean for warming up pizza in an oven takes a lot of time servers usually friendly there's a credit card fee. Places is pretty small. We're having so many options and it does stay open until 1 AM. Has a couple of chairs and a little bit of space of dine in, but I think it's mostly meant for takeout. Has a nice vibe though.

Romano Pizza makes the best Artichoke and Spinach pizza of all time. So much flavor - I'm obsessed! Also love their bacon chicken ranch pizza, wings, and chicken tenders. This is the only place we will order pizza delivery from - no other place in the Weehawken area compares. I am so glad they are still open for delivery right now! As always, delivery is fast and they never mess up an order.

Came across Romano's when sitting at a traffic light and saw a delivery car with a sign on top. Yelp reviews were mixed but photos looked promising. Couldn't order on one of the third party apps so called in our order instead. Ordered fried raviolis and a large pie with pepperoni and roasted red peppers. Our delivery came pretty quick. The pizza was really good - better than we were expecting. Good sauce, good amount of cheese, crispy crust. Ate a cold slice the next day and did not disappoint. May be out new local delivery spot in West New York. Pizza was better than some hoboken spots.

Authentic Italian... As long as you order their homemade pasta. Please note that on the menu they have a specific section for the pasta they make by hand and the pasta they do not. I heard a table next to us saying something again to the positive taste homemade but they ordered from a section where it didn't say it was lol. What makes this place great is you can pretty much make whatever kind of dish you want when it comes to the pasta. They offer a variety of sauces as well. Surprisingly on this night, I wasn't very hungry and I ended up only getting their soup, which was also delicious. The chicken franchise was delicious, as well as the eggplant Parmesan. However, looking around at the restaurant, I can see the winner is the chicken Parmesan and the muscles. They seem to be very popular dishes. Not only is the food here great, but it is affordable. The only mention I will make as a knock against it is it gets extremely loud in there. This is not somewhere you want go for a date... Or if you intend on talking to anyone you're eating with and hearing what they have to say haha. That's only for the indoor section though. I'm sure outdoor is less intense with the sound. We will definitely be back!

The food was decent, exactly what it should have been but nothing above and beyond. Some of the choices were different, for example the meatball sliders on garlic bread. We also had the Chicken Francese, Eggplant Parm, and Farfalle alla Vodka along with a side of Mashed Potatoes. Again, food was decent so if you're looking for good Italian food this is a place to try. They are BYOB so you can bring your own bottle of wine. Other Italian places are a bit more lively, but San Giuseppe is more calm and family friendly. Most tables were groups. The service, however, is not good and leaves a lot to be desired. We were there to celebrate a birthday and were not given the option to order desert because the kitchen, unbeknownst to us, closed. There were two waiters and neither of them advised us of the kitchen closing or last calls, which is inconsiderate. Do not offer a 9PM time slot if the table can't be serviced to the fullest capacity or if the waitstaff cannot communicate something as simple as "the kitchen will close soon, any last orders?". Will not be returning, unfortunately.

Paired with the honey and peppercorn were *chefs kiss*. Just a perfect shareable app. The mortadella was also good but smaller than I anticipated. I'd maybe pass on this next time. Honestly this would have paired perfectly with the toast but it was brought out after the toast was finished. We ordered two pastas: the rigatoni and the malfadine. Both were great and cooked perfectly. The quality of ingredients were a standout in both of the dishes. Pork pampanella was the most tender pork I've ever had. Basically melted in your mouth. Very fatty and heavy (a little too heavy...) but delicious. 4.5/5 overall. Some of the dishes were missing a little something to take it all the way but I'd still recommend this spot tho. This was creamy, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The now classic honey ricotta toast never disappoints ($14). They currently have my favorite, the Malfaldine with speck, grana padano, and black pepper ($22) - Get this. They no longer have the baccala and potato skin with chive ravioli. This was a fun play on potato skins. Some of the pasta had the baccala while others had the potato mascarpone. Although entertaining, it was less memorable than the other dishes. The smoked paprika pork shoulder was a dish that could feed 4. It's a massive cut of meat. While I did enjoy this, I needed more of polenta or a sauce. As anticipated it was very meat forward ;) For dessert I highly recommend their classic olive oil cake. This was moist and had a small Tablespoon of a guava sauce. For $10 don't miss this. The salted chocolate cake was a bit dry, but satisfied the sweet tooth. This went well with a double espresso. We stayed until closing and in fact were seated 15 mins past closing. Our waiter was kind and charming. He gave us his recommendations. Despite the menu being small and rotational, it always feels like there is something new and exciting to try. The Rutabaga and leek was that for me this time. I assume this is a winter dish. I recommend trying this before they move to a Soring menu and I wouldn't miss it!
