Staff does not care about the requests of their customers. Doesn't matter what you will order they will do what they want. Do not order from here. Negative stars is the only way to rate this establishment. They will hang up on you when you call them to let them know you received an incomplete order. Ordered via Uber Eats for delivery one Wednesday evening. We had the chicken roll, Italian hot sandwich, and a cheese pizza. The chicken roll was pretty good - it came with some marinara sauce for dipping. The Italian hot sandwich was just an Italian sandwich but pressed, which I didn't care for because it ended up cooking the lettuce and tomatoes that were inside. The best was definitely the cheese pizza. Whenever we order pizza, we tend to order specialty pies, or something we couldn't easily get. But this time, we decided to just keep it simple and I'm glad we did. They do a pretty solid cheese pie here. Plus the large is only $2 more. I thoroughly enjoyed my food from Summit Pizza Cafe. I'm very particular about my antipasti salad . It was delicious with all the trimmings of a antipasti salad . Definitely was fresh and the dressing to accompany the salad , made my tummy smile !! I also had the wings with Buffalo sauce on the side . The wings were cooked to perfection. Just moved to Jersey City from Brooklyn NY, went on the Slice app and looked for a pizzeria with at least a 4 star review. Imagine my surprise when I found this pizzeria had a perfect 5 Star rating and over 700 reviews. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a "special pizza" which is a normal pizza with sausage and veggies. What we got was raw veggies on the "Special" pizza and there was pepperoni in the sausages stead. The large pie was what I would call a medium, the pizza is .....pedestrian would be too much praise, it's just not very good at all. I could have saved the 80 bucks I paid when all the taxes and fees were added (Not the restaurants fault) and walked to the super market and just got some digiorno pizza and added the toppings I want and made sure they were cooked. I award this pizzeria 1 star and advise anyone thinking of ordering from here to save your money and just get some tacos. Come on, Jersey. You can do better. I have eaten here over the past 4 years under the old management and recently new management. The new owners have a delicious gluten free vegan option which I greatly appreciate. You can really only find those options in downtown Jersey city, Hoboken, NYC etc. They only got my order wrong once and corrected it with quickly and with ease. I really wanted to love the chicken-- I am barely liking it. The chicken just seems old, not fresh. Freshness is the most essential feature of fried chicken. What a shame because the lightly battered pieces are to my liking. I do not like overly battered fried chicken. This was lightly battered with flour. They are fried well, they just don't taste very good. There is no seasoning either. I prefer chicken with seasoning on the meat and in the flour. I am happy with the ease of ordering and the prompt delivery. Maybe next time I will give the pizza a try. The reviews weren't that strong but it seems the business has been around for a while and I like to support restaurants that have long history to them. This was my second time ordering from Summit Pizza. My husband and I got a pepperoni Sicilian pizza pie which was cheesy good and will last us 2-3 days! Having two streets with the same name right next to each other in the same city can cause nightmares for food delivery. Most places can't find or have to call, resulting in some cold food. They told me my order was out for delivery when I called (already an hour after I ordered). Called back 20 minutes later and then they tell me they never got my order. I ordered online at 6:55 pm. Got confirmation email from online company. Then got confirmation texts + a "delivery is out" confirmation text. They straight up lied to me when I called and asked where my order was and went with "oh its out its out". I didn't find out they never got my order until 8:30 even though at 8:15 when I called them they said my order was out for delivery. Really scummy move.
