We started with the fried mushrooms, which aren't what you would expect. It's two large portobellos cut into chunks, battered, fried, and served with sun-dried tomato mayo. They were great. I then ordered a duck taco, brisket taco, and a side of Grippo Fries with smoked mayo. I'd never tried duck but that taco was smack-a-lackin'. The brisket taco was also good, and the fries were fantastic - sweet and spicy, fresh cut, and crispy. Wife ordered a pork belly slider and truffle fries. She enjoyed the slider but didn't care for the fries - just not her thing. The portions here are large. A side of fries will feed three people. We took a hefty portion of them home, as well as some of the mushrooms. We could've sat there at the bar and spent 3 hours socializing and enjoying a smattering of cocktails - love the setting. When our server finally arrived, she acted like she didn't want to be there. My wife asked for a recommendation, but the response was vague and unhelpful. Our drink order was wrong. My wife and I ordered waters, and our son ordered a Sprite, but we received two lemonades and one water instead. After taking our order, our server disappeared. She never brought our food, checked on us, asked if we needed refills, or stopped by the table again. The manager walked past our table several times but never seemed interested in checking on our experience. The biggest issue was my son's meal. He ordered chicken sliders with the sauce on the side, but they arrived covered in sauce. Another employee took the meal back to be remade, but it came back wrong a second time. By then, my wife and I had already finished eating, and our son had been waiting nearly an hour without a proper meal. When I spoke with the manager, I asked that my son's meal be removed from the bill. Instead of taking responsibility and apologizing, the manager offered excuses rather than solutions. Mistakes can happen, but it's how they're handled that matters. Unfortunately, the customer service from both our server and the manager was disappointing. We left frustrated, and based on this experience, we will not be returning to this location.
