[[HIGHLIGHT]]O'Dolly's gets a solid four stars from me after a laid-back lunch stop today.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My buddy and I popped in and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the place immediately had character dollar bills covering the bar walls, giving it that fun, slightly chaotic neighborhood vibe you actually want in a spot like this.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went with the jalapeño bacon burger, and it absolutely delivered. Juicy, flavorful, with just the right kick from the jalapeños without overpowering everything else. It came with tater tots that were crispy and did the job--nothing fancy, but definitely satisfying. We also split an appetizer of three meatballs, and honestly, those might've been the sleeper hit. Really well seasoned and cooked just right. My buddy ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and had zero complaints he cleaned his plate, which says enough. I have heard such good things about O'Dollys and I really wanted to like it but it just fell flat for me. Hoops is such a good bar/restaurant and with the owners recently taking over, I felt like that would be a plus but I was disappointed. The food was fine (I had blackened shrimp and some tater tots) but the service was totally disinterested. The waitress was definitely more interested in what I assume was a gentleman regular so we were definitely an afterthought. After a daddy/daughters day checking out Cave Hill Cemetery and getting coffee at The Witches Brew we decided on lunch/early dinner at O'Dolly's. We had been there before with our former neighbor. Good food at reasonable prices is hard to come by. And yet we all enjoyed our food(burgers and fish) and had helpful and courteous service to boot. From the street it looks like a dive bar but don't let it stop you from going there and getting a good meal. They also have specials from Monday through Friday. read more

Even though this establishment is close to my home I had never been, now I've been here twice in the last 8 day. First time was after a funeral service with family members on a Saturday afternoon. We were a big crowd but the two wait staff took such good care of us. I had the checken tenders and french fries. It was possibly the hottest (temperature-wise) food I have ever been served, the chicken and the fries. Fries were crispy and so good . The chicken was tender and juicy and not at all greasy. Today we went for brunch and we had a breakfast platter, 2 eggs, fried potatoes ( they were cold but she took them back and brought hot, fresh ones), biscuts and gravy and country ham. And a stack of pancakes. My husband loved the biscuts and gravy, I enjoyed the fresh hot potatoes, the counrty ham ( a large potion but sliced evey thin) and the pancakes. I added blueberries and whipped cream to the pancakes. There were actually too many blueberries in the batter but otherwise thet too were tasty and served hot. O Dollys is a very affordable corner bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has space for groups, low tops and high tops.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My one issue is that parking is impossible. It's on a main road, and the location has very few spots. So if it's busy, it may be difficult to find parking. That being said, the food and service make up for that! Service is always friendly and attentive! It takes hardly anytime to get our food once it was ordered and everything comes out fresh! read more

I have never got my food order right never, you will get your coffee and have to stir it with a straw not a spoon, my potatoes at breakfast are burned black, my rye bread that I have requested no toast, or butter will come out toasted, this has happened over 15 times. Today December 6, I ordered a Swiss cheese and Sausage omelet, and my server Ashely asked what would you like in it ???. On Sunday I order the pizza special and request it to be pie cut into eight slices so the four of us can each have two slices, it always comes out cut into some kind of Crisscross cut, this has happened over Six times. I've heard of this place and drove by it a few times. I never really had a desire to come here but after seeing specials on their Facebook page I decided to come here. This place is located near a busy street and some neighborhoods. Parking was no issue at the time I went which was late morning/early afternoon. I walk in and it's a little busy but not too bad. There are tables throughout the place and it looks like there is plenty of bar seating w/o tables being pushed up to them. That should end soon. The place was clean and well kept. It wasn't very long before I was waited on and I ordered their taco Tuesday special. I was told of the different flavors of chicken but, I just went with grilled chicken, and I ordered a steak taco as well and a $3 Margarita. They had regular, strawberry and mango frozen or on the rocks. I ordered a frozen Mango to start off with and it tasted just like mango. I got my tacos a short time later. I told Marsha who was behind the bar that I may order more tacos if I liked these and she was perfectly ok with it. I got my tacos w/o Pico and slaw. It just had shredded cheese and some kind of sauce. Both tacos were good but, I liked the chicken better so I ordered 2 more chicken tacos. They were only $1.49 a piece for dine in only. I also got a strawberry Margarita in the rocks, it was good but I think I would have liked it better frozen. Marsha was just wonderful my whole visit. I could tell she knew everyone else but me because she asked if I have ever been there before, I hadn't but was glad to try a new place. I can tell it's a neighborhood bar because she knew everyone and everyone knew everyone else. I really do want to come back and try their other food like their pizza they have advertised up front in the parking lot. I also saw a pizza cheeseburger that I want to try next time. I thank Marsha for my wonderful first experience in the place. I do look forward to coming back here whether it's on taco Tuesday or a different day. read more

We love this place. We go every Sunday for wings. Are waiters rocks. W don't even have to tell her what we want. She already knows.

We ordered two types of wings, plus grilled shrimp tacos (the order comes with 3), and ranch to go. When we got the food home we had one taco and no ranch. This was after waiting for over 40 minutes. My husband called and was told that if he didn't specify he wanted three tacos he received one correctly but we paid over $9 for one taco? We will spend our money elsewhere. read more

The food and service was really pretty good. The only problem I had was getting two credit card charges for one meal. There was an extra separate $16 charge on my credit card statement along with the $23.73 ($18.73 + $5 tip) charge that I was expecting. I called and got someone who couldn't really help me so they just took my number and said a manager would call me back. Still waiting. Walked in and I thought it was November 9th with all the camo I saw. I was severely disappointed when I left my muzzleloader and orange vest back in Lagrange. If this place didn't have 400 motorcycles parked out front then I would think I was about to take a piss in an outhouse. We had onion rings and they were good with good ranch dressing...but we were disappointed. We tried to order nachos first but they didn't have any chips. I mean really? This review is specifically for their pizza. We ordered carry out last night, which we have done in the past from O'Dollys. Their pizza is surprisingly good. The crust is thin and crispy and the slices are cut into squares. I have been getting pepperoni, mushroom, and ground beef and have no complaints! Way better than any chain. Also last night was the first time I had stepped into the actually bar/resturant. The place looks like it has potential with pool tables, a pinball machine, jukebox, etc, The bar is huge and seems clean. There is also an outside "beer garden area" which I did not get to check out. On Monday's they have $1 chili dogs, which my boyfriend swears that they are good. If you are in this area you should stop in for the pizza at least. read more

This is your typical hole in the wall bar. The have a great beer selection and the staff is super friendly. You can also tell they take the steps to have the dive bar atmosphere, but still not be dirty. A huge plus. Kareoke on the weekends is also very entertaining. read more
