I visit this specific Sam's club at least once a month, sometimes more. Today I went to pick up a cake from the bakery (my second own from here) and I have had a great experience. I love the clothing options (very convenient for a busy mom who doesn't have a lot of time to buy clothing). I do find the staff offering free samples is not always very friendly; I would love to see more smiling faces and friendliness if the place is going to offer free samples. read more

I called this location this morning for help with my membership (10+yrs). First, the employee mumbled her greeting like she didn't want to be there. Secondly, after I told her why I was calling (questions about my membership) she put me on hold for 7+ mins. She never came back so I hung up. Very unprofessional and no urgency with retaining existing membership at all. I guess I'll consider Costco now. They have more protein options. In order to cancel my husbands card after his death they wanted a death certificate. Can you imagine a grocery store wanting a death certificate! As is they automatically renew the membership for $50/yr. I guess this is why they make it hard to cancel your card because they automatically get that $50, Very poor business practice. Now, I have a love/hate relationship for Sam's Club. But this visit at this location made me happy. I went to the customer service desk to get my card, and the sweetest female customer service rep gave the best service, in my opinion. I came in on a few days before Christmas by myself to pick up a few items for our Christmas dinner. I picked up some pans, instantbmashed potatoes, plastic bags, Hawaiian sweet rolls, onions, bottled water, gloves, and utensils. We decided to feed the homeless, so all above was needed. I was able to find some items at ease. They didn't have the gloves I wanted, so I did find gloves that worked just as well. At first, I was going to check out by standing in line, but lines were super long, so I checked out on the app instead. read more

If I could do a 1/2 star I would. The lady at the register was very rude, as was the lady at customer service. We had to take stuff and exchange it, and got refunded, so we could use in the store, we had Sam's cash also and they Rudely told us we could not use both. Also I wanted a light mask and no one ever could figure out where they were and the cashier made us leave it only to have to come back later to get it. I felt they were being very racist, just snapping and not wanting to help at all. I'm so bummed and upset, I will never go back to your Sam's. You need to teach these people what customer service is. No manager to be found, at least they could have called the manger for us, but never offered,and I did ask for one. It was quite unbelievable of the customere service at Sam's club at 15 Texas Station Ct, Timonium, MD 21093 today. I bought a 8 packs spam in the same package online and one of the spams clearly has mold cover all over it so i feel it is not good to consume the other spams as it is in the same pack so i trash them all together. I went into the store try to get to a refund and show the member area staff the picture and video i recorded as a proof. Unfortunately, she told me that she can only give me a refund of one but not the rest. If i bought the spam individually then i would not request to have it refunded but it was a pack of 8 so i feel not safe to consume as it is in the same batch. I believe i got a bit irritate by the fact that she doesnt want to refund the entire amount so i got loud and i did appologize to her for my attitude but she insist for me to leave the store. I thought going to a store would be easier for me to return the item as i can show the staff the pictures and video i recorded for it. After i leave the store, i call the online customer service department to get a refund and i inform them that if they need proof, i can send them pictures and video. They refund me the amount but i am still frustrate about this situation, it is easier to work with online staff then the staff in store. read more

So I love sams club so it's hard for me to leave such a bad review. But they deserve it. The food is great the deals are great sadly the employees in this location are awful. Extremely rude and unhelpful. So I bought 4 tires, had to come back bc they couldn't remove the tire locks (lots of mechanics and car places can they just charge a fee, no big deal) I came back after I found the key, asked the guy after being checked in if there was any other paper work or anything I needed to do, he said he could do that later. And I was free to shop for 30-45 while they changed the tires. So I waited a hour, looking around, ate lunch, tried free samples etc just killing time. I come back and they hadn't even started it bc he forgot he had to swipe my sams club card again. Really...! I just waited a hour for nothing. As of writing this it's almost been 2 hours. Just bc he forgot to tell me to swipe. Also I bought some groceries. As I was exiting I was like let me check on my car status real quick. The man told me to just leave the cart there with him and to keep my receipt on me. Well I do and my car still isn't ready, come back and my cart is gone. The man is gone he just clocked out and left after telling me he would keep an eye on it. None of the employees had any clue what happened to it. Everyone denied moving it. Thought maybe my groceries got stolen or someone put them away. Well long story short we eventually find them someone put the cart away with the groceries still inside. The employee who said he would watch it obviously didn't and the he didn't tell the new employee who took over for him. It should not take over 2 hours when they aren't busy to change a tire. Especially when it was already bought and paid for with the paperwork already done from last time. And when I asked the customer service people by the door about my cart and food several just stared with a blank stare and expression or shrugged like they didn't even care. I got a good deal but even with that I highly doubt I will be coming back here again for my vehicle at least. read more

I was volunteering to donate hamburgers and buns for a cookout for those who are homeless. I went to Sam's to buy in bulk. I got there at 9am so it was pretty clean and organized. The staff were very friendly and helpful with navigating the warehouse. We did have an issue with the produce. The slices of mangos were pale and one of the packages were open. I think they just had an off moment in produce. The lines were very easy to get through. They even have a system called scan and go. Here you can download the app, scan your products, pay with the credit card you have on file, and head out. This is so convenient. read more

Was a member here for over a year. Always went early Saturday mornings to shop. They had plus member hours from 8:00 - 9:00am, but would let you in early, with the caveat that you couldn't check out until after 9:00. Every Saturday for over a year it wasn't a problem. Suddenly today as I was walking in, the "greater" stopped me and just said you can't go in. No I'm sorry you can't go in. No you could upgrade your membership. Not polite, not courteous. Just a jerk. Funny thing is, the guy in front of me had the same membership card, and he was allowed to go in. Skip this place. Go to BJs or Costco where they actually care about customers. read more

Scan and Go app is great....but when you factor in the human factor so you can leave the store.... always seems to be an issue. I have addressed this with management but again...it is a human we are talking to. They say everything you want to hear to get you out of the store and never act upon the suggestions...like have a scanner that works, it have someone know how to use it, or like today, actually have one at the front door so I can leave. read more

I like commend The tire center on their superior service. I have several problems with my tires. Sales Associate David helped me decide what type of tires would give me the best value for money. Mgr Micheal made sure I was clear on how to take care of my tires. Everyone in your Texas Station Tire Center are very professional and a pleasure to work with. Very rude employees. My mom went in there to renew her card but she couldn't find her so she used my dad's mind you they are on the same account. So the lady looked on the back and said this isn't your card so it's mine now. My mom thought she was joking and when she realized she wasn't my mom was in pure shock. This Sam's Club has been on a downhill slide for a while. I was there yesterday and found many shelves partially empty. In the cheese section there was a package of Asiago cheese that was covered with mold. I needed eggs but there is no way I would buy them there. There were only a few cartons (it was a Wednesday, so what happened to their stock?) and while looking for the Eggland brand, which they didn't have, I saw that there were smashed eggs on the floor of the display. In the canned goods section a case of canned tomatoes contained crushed cans, and the other cases looked like they fell off the truck. There were many prices missing on goods. The lack of care by the employees made we wary of buying anything. How do I know that some fresh or frozen food has been sitting out and then refrozen? I do not trust anything at Sam's. I hope Costco builds a store in the area. Other reviewers mention rude and ignorant staff. I heard a shouting match between some staff in back of the store, and the staff at the food court are constantly on their cell phones and do nothing to clean the food area. I just may go back and this time take my phone and make a video. read more

I have bought 2 car items at this Sams in the last year. Both experiences were subpar. A battery: I was told that the housing was rusted and to go get enother housing unit from Napa. I went to Napa and came back and was told wrong housing-try AutoZone. Went to Autozone and got another housing, back to Sams, told I bought too many pieces Eventually had the battery installed. Took 4 trips, 3 different days, probably 4-5 hours. 4 Tires: Went back to have tire repair due to slow leak. Tire fixed in about 2.5 hours. When got car back, TPMS light on. I asked for reset. Rest ineffective- need new TPMS sensor. Told to go buy one and come back. None in stock at Sams. I waited for the TPMS sensor to be restocked. Called ahead and spoke to Car desk associate who said my model TPMS in stock and come over to get installed. Get to Sams- all bays closed with red tape across bay. See little guy who is mechanic- he says part not in stock. I tell him I called ahead and it is in stock. He says- well you will need to wait a few hours. WHAT? You are the one who gave me my car back with a broken TPMS sensor and I have been back 2 times now. Come back another day at 8:30am. No other cars there. Two techs in the garage bays. I ask for TPMS sensor to be replaced and tires roatated and balanced. My car is taken in and at 12 noon I finally get it back. Lots of lost time and run around. if Sam's is proividing service, they need appropriate equipment to do the job and more people to work there. Also, I don't have all day to run back and forth. They are casual-just bring car back... Also, the day time supervisor is terrible. Lazy. Cusotmer Service staff aloof and unprofessional. Practitcally beg to be waited on. read more

Produce can be pretty iffy here. The meats are usually decent and you can't beat their per pound chicken price. Everything else leaves a TON to be desired. The staff is downright rude and ignorant to both customers and themselves. They are loud, constantly having personal conversations and ignoring customers. This Sam's really needs an overhaul. Having moved downtown, I am now making an effort to go south to the one near Severn area over this one. They seem to be friendlier and have a better selection. read more

They said they can't find the item in the system and then my mother said she want to take a new photo for her membership card. Never purchase food at Sam's Club. I wasted $10 on inedible roast beef, which claimed to be angus. The rolls were inedible. Fruit is frozen and they sell low quality bakery items. I usually always have a pleasant experience here, then again I'm also low maintenance and I am strategic when I choose to visit. I don't have membership, but I got from Customer Service department an one day pass. I just moved in the area and the store is close to my place and I had in my mind to become a member (after holidays because I didn't want to spend in this moment the fees). However, after this experience I am not going to shop in this store. It seems like the role changes at this store; the cashier and the sales person is the king and the customer is at his/her disposition and if you bother them too much you may be kicked out from the store. Second, when I got to the cashier, she tried few times to introduce the # from the pass ticket and the system didn't take it. That was not a big deal, we all are humans and do mistakes, but I had to go back to the customer service twice, because she was not able to give me a correct # second time and the third time. However, when I returned to the cashier the third time, I waited her to finish the customer she was serving, and I thought she Will take me after because all my stuff were on the conveyor belt, but she told me that she is not going to scam my items, because she must serve first the person that was next in line because I need to write with capital letters " BECAUSE SHE IS A PERSON AND SHE WAS IN LINE". I was shocked ....and I said " what do you mean? I am not a person? I was in line too, and when it was my turn, you couldn't ring my stuff and it was not my fault". She told me again that she is not going to serve me and she just ignored me. I felt very frustrated and I insisted that it is not correct to wait because I was in line too and I am a person too. However, a supervisor, who was not very far, showed up and (THIS IS THE CHERRY FROM THE TOP) told me that I MAT BE KICKED OUT FROM THE STORE IF I CONTINUE ARGUING. I have never been treated like that in a store in my life. I am 51 year old but this experience is unique. I cannot describe her look, she talked with me like I was the last person on the earth. Guys, who hires this people. Do they know what courtesy is? Are they trained how to talk or how to respect customers. However, what to expect from a simple cashier if a supervisor is not able to handle a situation. My day was ruined, I was treated like a homeless, even though I do consider that even a homeless deserves respect because he/she is a human being. However, I have been told that I am not a person. First off, the Sam's in Owings Mills closed abruptly forcing the communities of Owings Mills, Pikesville, Reisterstown, Randallstown and other near by communities to travel to the Sam's in Catonsville or elsewhere. I traveled over to Catonsville Sam's twice and didn't have a pleasant experience either time. The parking was difficult and the store arrangement was just so different from other Sam's that it was time consuming just trying to find items. I discovered that they did sell towels but I didn't see any evidence that they sold matching wash cloths and hand towels. I found that somewhat strange. Last week, my friend and I ventured out to the Sam's at Texas Station. We had a most positive experience. We agreed that we much prefer this Sam's to the one in Catonsville. The staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful throughout the store. The older African American gentleman serving customers at the Fresh Seafood counter deserves kudos and a shout out for excellent service as well as being knowledgeable about the sea food. The young lady and the young gentleman serving in the section by the towels took the time to search for merchandise before they told us that they didn't have any more of the navy. They also positively assured us they were expecting some in. Both were knowledgeable, quite pleasant and helpful. We dined in the food court which was clean, Pizza was hot and the staff pleasant and helpful. The restroom was clean, well stocked with paper items and fresh smelling!! The check out experience was organized and quick with the three man team system being employed that particular day. All in all, we liked the store and our shopping experience and do plan to return soon. read more
