The pharmacist, Brian, is always helpful with any questions in person or by phone. If not available he will call you back. I was recently surprised to find that HVPharm was the specialty pharmacy making specialized eye drops for my mother who lives an hour away. I was able to contact The pharmacy twice with my parent's questions and talk right to the my personal pharmacist who had made the drops. Only negatives: because they are small, you sometimes need to go elsewhere or wait (if you can) until the next day for less common Rxs. They do not have the hours of big chain pharmacies if you get an emergency night or weekend script.

When I approached the photo department counter, no one was there. I found a manager who escorted me back to the photo counter and explained how to leave the cameras for development. The collection box was overflowing with orders which made me uncomfortable, but this guy seemed confident that my order would get completed. I took a chance but I definitely have no regrets. I walked into the Ruxton Pharmacy this morning to pick up a prescription and to possibly refill another. What could have taken an hour at CVS took me 5 minutes at Ruxton Pharmacy. There was no one in line, the phones were not ringing off the hooks. The gentleman who helped me was kind and personable. Bonus points: The prices I paid were at least 25% cheaper than CVS or Walgreens. They also have an A-mazing greeting card selection which I will take advantage of the next time I return. Now I've been on phone for 15 minutes waiting. My app and phone system says I don't have a prescription. Its 4pm. My doctor's office says it was sent in at 2pm. Someone just picked up call for a minute and put me on hold. I was told last time I dealt with them a month ago, that their phone system had problems. That time to finally get to pharmacy, I had to direct call to manager who walked back to pharmacy to help me communicate. They also can deliver. They are closed on Sat. and Sun., but I can still order meds online. They close at 5:30pm M-F.

Hands down the only pharmacy for us. We were crazy to deal with the headaches of mail order…read moremedicines instead of using our community pharmacy! Refills are almost always done within moments of being ordered and the app makes things easy. Forget about the frustrating waiting time and poor service at the chain pharmacy. You can't beat folks seeing your face and knowing who you are, but also knowing to check the names of the others in your family so you can pickup everything at once. Our son has epilepsy and has recently learned to become responsible for ordering his own refills and I couldn't love this team more for being kind and understanding as he navigated this important step to adulthood (forgetting to request timely refills occasionally) He also recently underwent brain surgery and was in the hospital for several weeks. The team asked about his status and were big cheerleaders when he returned home. This is a phenomenal group of people and if you live in this community and aren't taking advantage of having this blessing, you're really missing out!
