The dry cleaning work here is average. Just be prepared for the clerk at the counter to be wearing a set of headphones playing video games while he takes your items. Or, he might be laying down on the couch in the lobby with his video games. I would rather drop my clothes off with no one there than be treated like an interruption. God forbid you hit the pause button and put down the headphones for 30 seconds. Infuriating. read more

I bring all of my clothes here. DOnt let the negative reviews discourage you, they are posted by half witted people. I have had nothing but the best service here and my clothes are always ready and pressed nicely. If there is ever and issue, I have brought it to their attention and it has been fixed, but that is seldom. Most reviews left are half witted people who do not check their garments upon leaving. In which they have probably had the issue prior to bringing it into the cleaners. Don't let these reviews fool you I have had nothing but the best service and they never have let me down at this cleaners! I have used Sam's Cleaners even before I moved to the area. My friend has used them for more years that can be counted. I used to send my jeans with her to be laundered/starched as they do an excellent job. Now that I live in Azle, I am able to drop off and pick my items up myself. Worst cleaners ever. I had just purchased a simple cotton dress for a cruise. Love the way it fit. Before the trip I took the dress to be dry cleaned. It wasn't even dirty but I wanted it pressed for the trip. When I put it on to wear on the trip it was a NOTICEABLE difference. It had been SHRUNKEN. I couldn't even button it anymore and at least 2 inches shorter. When I called the cleaners they told me to bring it back. I don't know what they did but it still didn't fit! He claims that it is not his fault and I need to return it to the store for a refund. How is it not the cleaners fault?! The dress was perfect. Took to be cleaned and now it's a size or more smaller. read more

I've given them a star of one because if you have to deal with one of the teenagers there they you won't get what you want I teach high school and I deal with teenagers all the time the owners at this location don't quite seem to have the training of the teens in control both owners are high-quality and good people but I think the kids are only there to get a paycheck we took a suit in to have it cleaned and instead of having a clean they pressed it when confronted about the issue they said oh you want to cleaned Willy clean if you specifically asked for that we just press OMG read more

When I went in they were very busy and the young man behind the counter was polite and courteous to every person he waited on. The only thing is, I am not a fan of prepaying for a service. Dreadful, rude, dishonest, and to be avoided. I brought several upper quality dress shirts and pants to Sam's Cleaners and have regretted stepping foot in the door. They destroyed two $80 shirts using heavy starch when I asked form light and pressing wrinkles into the collar, back, and sleeves. The collar on a cobalt blue one pressed shiny and creased bleaching the stitching and the pattern of the collar stays into the fabric. When I called him on it, he claimed it was my fault for requesting starch at a dry cleaner and flat out refused to correct the mistake and replace the item. I have since filed complaints with the Ft Worth Chamber of Commerce and the Tarrant County Better Business Bureau. My mistake using his service cost me nearly $100 after the replacement of the shirt, tax, and the cleaning fee he still charged to me. It is unfortunate that this day in age small business owners like Sam Kennedy lack integrity. Alternatives in the area well reviewed would be Dry Clean Super Center on Boat Club Road, and Moreno's Cleaners on Jacksboro Highway or any one of the many others in the area. Here we are in 2017 and this establishment still could care less about doing it RIGHT!!! I needed jeans hemmed, using the original hem.....1st time they came back with crooked treading in hem but NO original hem used. 2nd time they came back with straight threading but once again NO original hem.....how stupid can they be!!! I spoke with both the store manager (Woody) and the owner's husband (Bill) to NO Avail.......manager is just a body, knows nothing of the business functions and other person made promise to get my original hems back to me and try to get this corrected. however, have never heard back from him. Just don't care, they have your money so why would they? Do yourself a favor and avoid the hassles! read more

The shirts I've gotten back were fine, with the stains and wrinkles removed. My only real complaint is about the terrible service. They never answer their phone, take forever to come to the front counter and act annoyed that you're there when you drop off or pick up clothes. I'm not disappointed enough in the service to look around for other cleaners, but I wouldn't recommend the place to a friend. read more

I'm not the type of person that typically leaves a review. But I am so disappointed with my experience with the owner today that I feel inclined to share. My intention was not to offend but to gently highlight my concerns and hoping for a better experience, and hopefully I didn't have to iron shirts anymore. So I spoke with the owner about my past experience over a year ago with her dry cleaning business, that wrinkles were left in my husband's shirts, and I'd like to try again but would like to have no wrinkles around the yolk area. (I've honestly NEVER had this problem with any other dry cleaners in all areas I've lived in before until we moved here). She argues that I have had this problem with my other dry cleaners bc they all leave wrinkles. I insisted that, no, my other cleaners have never left wrinkles and I would have noticed, especially bc his shirts are white and everything is noticeable. But she continues to insist and argue that I have had wrinkles around the yolk area bc all dry cleaners leave wrinkles, as if she can speak for me and other dry cleaners! Who does that? To convince me that they do a good job, she shows me other customers' pressed, shirts, whereupon I mention the areas that are nicely pressed as well as the noticeable wrinkles on their shirts, and she does not care about quality workmanship. Bc I really don't want to iron shirts and I know all things are possible, I decide to leave two shirts and hope for a good outcome. If everything turns out great, I will leave a positive review. I guess that I am a half witted person who does not like Sam's Cleaners. I too would not recommend this place of business . I went to them because I needed some suits cleaned in a hurry and Lee's was closed. First of all a teenager was working the cash register and he had no idea of how to ring up the sale. Plus he got the items wrong---I brought in two suits and he put down just the jackets. Needed a rush job and he had no idea how to enter it. Owner told him/sowed him how to do it. Picked up the order and was charged for 2 pants plus rush fee for two pants. Irritation for me was incorrect listing in first place plus being charged for 4 items to be rushed instead of 2 suits. I should have known better to go there because a week ago, I took a pair of pants to be cleaned with the sticky tape residue form the size on the leg. I showed the lady in the back what need to be cleaned and she said they could not guarante that they could not get the residue off the pants and that I would have to pay if I wanted them to clean the pants. I guess I am old fashion and half witted but if a place can not clean an item to your satisfaction you should not have to pay. So I took the pants to Comet cleaners and they did an fabulous job. I am also a little leary of their prices. They seem quite a bit higher than other places. read more

I would like to add something to this review. In reviewing what others have stated about missing buttons or broken buttons, I noticed that not everyone knows about Lee's Cleaners. They were closed by the time I was able to get out of the house on Saturday. I was in a huge hurry to get something nice pressed for a wedding, thus I chose this atrocious Sam's Cleaners. Fatal Mistake!!!!! Lee's Cleaners are wonderful!!!! They are about 5 minutes from the horrible Sam's Cleaners. If you go the opposite direction on 199 towards the lake, take a right where Dollar General Store and the Liquor store is. Go to the end of the street - Lee's Cleaners are right across the street right next to the Cigar Shop. You will NOT have to pay in advance and you will NOT come home with missing and broken buttons where Sam's Cleaners refuse to find your missing buttons and absolutely refuse to give you a refund for them ruining your nicest and most expensive blouse!!!!!! I would have given this sub par cleaners a ZERO star, but that was not an option. I brought a $50.00 blouse in Saturday along with black dress slacks. When I picked them up today I noticed that 3 buttons were missing from the blouse. These are not just any buttons, these were brass buttons on the bottom and pearl with gold in the middle. Three of the buttons, the gold was smashed. It is just a small dot of gold. I said something to the girl with the piercings in her ears and nose and she told me we can replace the buttons. No - she tried to give me 3 cheap plastic buttons. I asked were my buttons were - she said she did not know. I then asked for the manager and she/he was not there, but I could come back at 6:30 PM to speak with someone. There was no notation made on the ticket or when they "pressed the blouse" that buttons were missing. She said if buttons had been missing, that would be noted. I then asked her to go and find my buttons. She said we do not keep buttons, but brought out a big bag of miscellaneous buttons. I told her "you told me you didn't have any buttons. She looked dazed as if she was on drugs. There was no sorry, no emotion, no offer to refund - nothing. They don't care. I asked for a refund and she said we do not give refunds. Really? You mess the buttons up that was left on the blouse, you lose three of the buttons and you do not give refunds? This is the worst cleaners I have ever encountered. They take no responsibility whatsoever. Not only will this be written here for others to see, but I am turning this place into the BBB. They should be run out of business. I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life. So, they screw your clothes up that you HAVE to pay for in advance which is ridiculous, but I was in a huge hurry Saturday and this blouse was to be worn for a wedding of my sons tomorrow morning. This is atrocious one, for a business to charge before work is done, especially a dry cleaners and two, for the lack of responsibility this establishment showed me as if they could have absolutely cared less they ruined my blouse. This is totally unacceptable. I am warning people that if you are in a hurry and do not think you have time to go somewhere else, please keep driving. There is a wonderful cleaners just 3 minutes from this poor establishment on 1220 Azle Avenue right next to Bull Frog Grill. They are extremely reasonable and have never ruined anything of mine. Also I almost took a coat into sam's last year to have it dry cleaned and they were going to charge me $32.00 for it. I now wished that time would have been the last time I ever stepped foot in this place. After reading the reviews, I was pretty skeptical. Much to my surprise, I had received great service, from the counter help to the quality of the cleaning. For such quick turn around time, you cannot beat the price. I also had the pleasure of meeting the family behind the business. They showed great hospitality to me, as being their new customer. Horrible cleaners! This is not our usual cleaners, but we were in a hurry and they were on the rout we were driving. We have driven by there may times, it looks very nice and clean, and looks like they do a good amount of business. We took a cocktail dress and my husbands custom made suit to be dry-cleaned. Both have been dry-cleaned before. First they charged me 3X the usual about I pay to have my dressed cleaned. They stated it was because it was beaded. When we got our clothes back are were getting ready for a party and we saw that my dresses beads had been completely removed ! And my husbands suit had been shrunk. The pants were shorter and the jacket no longer fit correctly in the shoulders or arms. I can not believe how bad the messed up our clothes ! read more

I wasted my evening by going to this place to have pants fitted. I had to wait for several minutes before being greeted, only to be told that the tailor is only available in the mornings (i.e., when most people are at work). The clerk wasn'texactly rude, but I had to fight to get any helpful information out of her. Considering the limited hours of the tailor, I feel that the top billing of "tailoring and alterations" on their signage to be misleading. read more
