Maybe because I was white ! We ordered the food and then was told to wait for 20 mins After 40 mins my husband asked the waiters were is the food, and they kept on saying 5 mins and 5 mins, we waited another 20 mins and no food! I then questioned them as my husband was getting very angry with there lies and service I then asked them what's going on and I felt ignored because I was not Pakistani and my orientation European and felt very discriminated when I tried to speak to the waiters At the end I was told to go inside to the food counter and speak to someone inside, I stood up with my family and walked straight out and they couldn't even have the decency to apologise on my way out My husband who has he's own business called the restaurant on the way home and asked for the owner and he was told to leave his number and message and I will receive a call back, until today my husband has not received a call or a apology the service and the treatment I and my family received, we will never come to this restaurant again and my close friends will hear about the service and the racism I felt towards me Let's hope this owner off this restaurant will have the decency to call my husband Lastly, they have only tap water so I went to get our drinks from next door burger place. WOW -the waiter even laughed about my 'problem solving' skills I have attached a picture of what I shared with friends on the day where we went there -as the OWNER responded of my Google review that everything I just shared is false! Shame on you!!! Your restaurant rated as 'worth the trip even across London - I wish I read your responses to previous reviews. I am shocked, my apologies for coming to you, another lesson learned! additionally to all the above: there is OFF street parking-not safe for high value cars, the front of the restaurant there seems to be some council work going o. right in the middle cordoned off with weed growing and a broken chair dumped in the hole. no need your rude response! that's was sadly my full experience at your place

I've been to other Indian restaurants in the Ealing area. And I did NOT love them. The prices are pretty reasonable. And the food is fabulous! I see a lot of people in here who seem to go pretty often--aka regulars. I've done take away from here as well, and it was at my flat in about 30 minutes. The first time I came here, my friends and I ordered quite a lot, with beers and naan. We were very full and satisfied with the food. I've found other dishes in the area to be too oily for my liking. The dishes here have a nice texture as well. The service was attentive as well. Takeway was about the same, tons of food, very fresh, easy transaction. I've been a few more times after and have loved every bite. This last time, I told the waiter that I loved this restaurant, and try to go every time I'm in London. He said he remembered me from the other times I had been, and was glad to hear that, LOL Lunchtime... only maybe... they serve a little bit of appetizers. And I drink a lot of water, so he just left the pitcher at my table. Anyway, I know I'll be back here!!!!

Service. They are busy. Very busy. It's hard to get anyone's attention. When we did, the young women was in a constant rush and a little rude. As an example - I placed our food order and also asked for chai. She abruptly said "no too busy go somewhere else for that." Later, I saw other people order and get chai after their meal at the table next to us. There was another guy running back and forth. I must have asked for water 4 or 5 times before he finally just dropped a bottle off on the table while running by with no glasses. Getting the check was an ordeal. So finally I just walked up to the counter and asked for it at the take away register and the same rude women said "just pay here". I gave her my Amex and it wasn't going thru she just kept saying "decline". She did it two or 3 times. Then I said "do you take Amex". She says "no only visa MasterCard." I don't expect white glove service at spots like this, just don't be rude. Maybe say I'm sorry we are too busy tonight. Anyway. The food. That saved the day. Seekh kabob 5/5 Afghan Naan 5/5 Chicken tikka 4/5 Saag paneer 3/5 Nihari 2/5 Chutneys - 2/5 I normally take an average and round up. They get a 3.5 on the food only. I'm rounding down this time because of the service.
