I've always loved Indian food and I've heard the best Indian food in London is in Southall. Well, what I heard was right. Short Story: Amazing Indian food, Amazing Service, Amazing Price.

FOOD:
Chicken Tikka Starter: 5/5, Very authentic and the chicken was soft. There was a lot of flavor, especially paired with the mint chutney on the side. I was really in the mood for chicken so it definitely hit the spot.
Shahi Paneer: 5/5, In my opinion this was the best dish that we tried. The sauce itself was pretty mild flavored, definitely not spicy. It leaned more towards the slightly sweet side. The paneer was really tasty and soft. Definitely recommend this dish.
Chicken Tikka Masala: 5/5, There was a good amount of chicken in the curry. The chicken was soft and easy to break apart with the naan, and the sauce was slightly spicy. It wasn't very spicy, but it had a good amount of flavor. Overall, excellent dish and I would also recommend. Even though this was a more popularized dish, it still had an authentic feel.
Lamb Madras: 3/5, This one was overall pretty good. I think I just wasn't in the mood for lamb and this one really gives a lamb taste overall. The curry was definitely spicy, so I would only get it if you have a good spice tolerance. It was a well made dish, so it might not be deserving of the lower rating, but it just wasn't for me at the time. Also give a good amount of lamb pieces.
Mango Lassi: 5/5, This is literally the first time I've ever had mango lassi that I've liked. It tasted very fresh and had perfect proportions. Definitely definitely get this, even if youve never tried mango lassi before. I'm 100% getting this when I go back again.
Gulab Jamun: 5/5, Another perfect dish. It wasn't overwhelmingly sweet, and had the perfect amount of syrup to go with it. I got it with the ice cream, which was a really good pairing. It tasted very fresh and homemade. This is the only item that was slightly expensive, but I would say it is definitely worth it!
Roti: 5/5, I usually don't like Roti, but this one was really good. Surprisingly delicious, even though it's the healthy alternative to naan.
Naan: 5/5, Naan is always really good and it was good here too! Soft and delicious, and well priced.

SERVICE:
5/5, This is really where the restaurant shone from any other I've been to. The owner, Raj, was the sweetest most genuine owner I've ever met. He talked to us for an hour after our meal ended about his life and his dreams. He really cares about his restaurant and it showed with the quality of the food. All the food was quick and there was no wait, but I hear that Saturdays are super packed so show up early! Apparently on Saturdays they do cultural events and parties, so I'm gonna be back!

AMBIANCE:
5/5, Good for kids. It definitely has a restaurant feel, gives a very cultural vibe. Very fun to be in, but definitely casual, not too fancy. Could be used for a casual date though.
