Have you ever walked through Home Depot and been offered a service call to check out your heater and air conditioner? If it's with Same Day definitely say YES! We just had their service tech Jesse Puga at our home and he was AMAZING! I can compare it to the service call I received through Costco from another company 3 years ago and the difference was substantial. Jesse went through the check up and showed us either in person or through photos what our systems looked like and how it was working. He explained to us how the components that needed to be changed affected our system. Jesse possesses patience and personality that also made the service call a pleasure. Kudos to Same Day for having such a great tech and as a company a great business model! read more

I discovered a minor warranty issue with the system Same Day had installed a couple of years ago, and getting the problem addressed could not have been easier. First, the receptionist on the phone was polite, friendly, and efficient. Even though this is, I presume, a crunch time of year, two techs, Brandon and his assistant, showed up at my place the next morning. Same Day kept me informed about the appointment and Brandon's expected arrival time. When they arrived, it took them only a short period to time to locate the issue and correct it. During that process, they were professional, friendly, and (again) efficient. It tells me that the culture at Same Day is one that fosters this kind of approach, which is, of course, great from a customer's point of view. No charge for the visit, and all is now working fine again. I couldn't have asked for more. read more

The crew of Alex/Tommy/Eric/Jose, did a great job. They were paid attention to details, professional and cleaned up after they were done. Great crew! read more

Octavia explained the job in details which was helpful and walk me through each step.

Wilbert Tapia performed a heating inspection yesterday. He was very nice, respectful, and professional. He gave us great suggestions of steps we can take to make our system function more efficiently. I wish more businesses would be this thorough and pleasant to work with. We are very satisfied with this company and will be conducting further business with it. read more

Octavio and Willie came to restore heat to my home today. They were both very courteous, respectful, and friendly. Octavio took the time to explain the issue so that I understood it was a 4 year old part that usually goes bad every 3-5 years. I was pleased with Octavio's ability to diagnose and fix the issue. Would have been a $400+ service but with monthly subscription of $13, it was closer to $200. HVAC unit was installed in 2021 and choose Same Day because they offered the longest warranty. It has been a process getting the AC to work correctly so I've had close to 6 visits since installation for dripping issues. This was the first year I tried the heat and a part had already gone bad. There is also the monthly service fee of $13 that the saleswoman neglected to mention. I have used Same Day for a plumbing issue also and he was very helpful as well. In general, the tech's have been friendly, polite, patient and willing to explain the issue at hand. I would have given 5 stars but I wasted a day waiting for service that wasn't possible due to height/ladder issues. This is not the first time. I ask for a 30' ladder when scheduling appointments, notes should be in my file like the gate code, and Same Day installed the unit originally so the location isn't a mystery. Very frustrating. read more

I had Ellias come by the house for an estimate today. He did such a thorough job and walked us through all of our options for repairs. He was friendly and officiant. He made sure our dogs didn't run our door and he killed this giant bug for us that we were afraid of. He is a great representation of the company and I would highly recommend getting your air conditioning estimated with Ellias! read more

Octavio made a very thorough inspection and explanation when he came in to take a look at my furnace. He was definitely very knowledgeable and very polite. He clearly knows his way around things and is not afraid to make any explanations. Would definitely trust him with any future situations 10/10 read more

Big thanks to service tech Octavio Brambila who performed a maintenance check of our AC this week. Arrived on time and was both professional and friendly throughout the service check. The HVAC installed 2 years ago by Same Day is running efficiently and we are all set for the summer season. read more

Adrian was great. Explained his work and left me with ice cold AC. I appreciate the breakdown of the work.

Justin worked hard to figure out an issue that we've called 3 other companies to fix with no luck. He stayed until he figured it out and we are so grateful! Really great job Justin and we would use him again! read more

Great service! Octavio was professional, on time, and fixed my AC quickly. Highly recommend

I'm not the most appliance savvy person - I don't always follow the recommended upkeep of my tools, machines, and appliances. But when I turned my AC on I could tell that something wasn't right - it felt more like a fan than an AC. That night I went to Same Day Heating & Air's website and sent in a request to have an inspection. The next morning I received an email and a text message from the company asking for more information about the house, the furnace location, and what the problem was. It was so easy to communicate with them about what's going on. We quickly scheduled an appointment for a convenient time; they had so many open appointments it was great to not need to stress over it. Leading up to the appointment, I received multiple confirmation and reminder notifications, which was great! The morning of the appointment, I received an email, text, and phone call from the technician. One interesting part was that the email had the photo of the technician so I knew I wasn't letting a stranger/imposter into my house! Wyatt was on time and really respectful of my home, he only went into the areas necessary and wore booties over his shoes to keep my house clean. The whole inspection took about 30-45 minutes and he was able to get my AC back on! He showed me what the problem was and provided me with various levels of repair as well as his contact information if we want to consider replacing it entirely (it is a REALLY old unit). I didn't feel pressured into buying a package; he emailed me the details of all the options as well as the photos he took during the inspection! Thanks for being so kind, Wyatt! I don't have many companies to compare this service to, but I had a truly lovely experience and would definitely use them again! read more

Back in April/May my husband and I decided to add AC to our existing heating system for our house. My husband came across this company while looking for a reputable company to go with. From the initial contact with Tony to the installation by Lamar and his team, we felt very well taken care of. Everyone we encountered was knowledgeable and respectful throughout the process. We are very pleased with the work and interactions we had with this company. Thank you! :) read more

Great initial engagement with Same Day Heating and Air through Home Depot. Super consultant who came out to speak to me first, Anthony Albanese and who helped me look at an other HVAC install they were doing in the local area. The team who came to do the actual HVAC install were great and did a pretty decent job. They were happy to answer my questions and kept me updated as the work progressed. Post project cleanup not quite as hoped / desired. Still working through some remaining issues from the project work including remediating attic hatch access work which had to be increased in order to get the old HVAC furnace down and the new furnace up. read more

I have been using Same Day Plumbing and HVAC for 3 years now, and they do a great job. Recently, Octavio was at our home to clean and perform the annual checkup of our HVAC system. As with every other service tech, he was very knowledgeable of the product he was servicing and he arrived on time. Rather it be an installation or a service call, these folks are always on time, courteous and knowledgeable. read more

Very sad that Yelp chose to place this review under the "not recommended" category. I even attached the plumber's actual quote as proof of their practices so you could see this wasn't exaggerated. We were able to get another plumber out who did all the repairs (even preventative) for under $2900. Yelp, why don't you put up honest negative reviews? read more

Update- Mike ( manager) and Brandon ( tech) are excellent, very professional and on top of things. Not quite certain about the front office. That another story. Overall glad I gave them a second chance. I signed up as a member so hopefully things will get better. Set up appointment 2 weeks ahead , between 11-1. Recieved text technician is running late at 114, and again at 131 that he on his way. Technician Daniel called at 138 saying he was in Ramona about an 1 hour away and once he arrives the job takes about 1.5 hour if i still had room for him to come.. I live by the wild animal park it about 25 mins, but I said to myself maybe he needs to stop by and get something to eat . 315 and still no show. Called him, not even apologetic, so I canceled him realizing by his tone of voice he didn't really want to come.. read more

Our experience with Same Day Heating and Air has been fabulous. All the way from being approached at a local Home Depot location to the completion of the project. The appointment follow ups from the company were excellent. Reyes who performed the inspection of our existing equipment was on time and very knowledgeable. Within a day or two we met with Tony Eddington who furnished us with a quote. Again the appointment follow up by the company and Tony was fantastic. Tony's presentation was very professional and his knowledge of the products was beyond good. He has also followed up with us to make sure we were completely satisfied after the job was complete. Our installation was promised to be done in one day and it was. Thank you again to Same Day, for a job well done.. read more

We purchased a unit from them about 5 years ago. It was noticeably louder than our previous unit but we chose to ignore it. The capacitor went out about 4 years later. We were told over the phone it was under warranty and they were quick to come out. Once they were at our residence we were informed that we were not paying into the home shield maintenance program so there was no warranty on the unit. After the repair, we were told we could pay for the part and service or join the plan and the repair would be included. We tried the club and had our 1st maintenance check, he looked at the unit and started trying to sell us stuff. Nothing currently wrong with the unit. Additionally, the capacitor failure was related to our ducting being too small. They sold us a unit too big for our ducting. So, in addition to selling their monthly program, they told us it will continue happening until we upgrade our ducting. I felt slimy about it all when we joined the club and did the repair but now it's feels like a terrible joke. read more

Design technician Toney Eddington, and the team that was assigned to help me with the installation were incredible. Toney talked with us and walked us through the entire process, informing us how much everything would be and the estimate time everything would take. He made sure we got the best deals (active duty/veterans) and managed to get us in the very next day for installation. The installation team was amazing as well, Bryant, Gilbert, and Erick were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They walked us through the process, cleaned up after and told about all the warranties again. read more

We had our 24 year old A/C and Furnace removed and updated our systems. The entire process was outstanding, from the sales representative Bill D. Who explained everything to us in an easy not high sales pitch manner. They also had fantastic financing, and warranty policy. We were able to get it scheduled within 2 weeks. When the technicians [Bryant, Lamar and Richard] came out they were on time and ready to get started. Since they were inside and out and up in the attic they put on house booties and removed them numerous times during the day. They also completely sealed off the clothing, shelves and drawers in the closet for attic access. They also put down red paper throughout the house to walk on. The entire process was done with care, and expert knowledge. The team was pleasant and professional. They did a great cleanup job and you would never know they were here. It was all completed in less than 8 hours and I would highly recommend this company. The value for the new system will be well worth it. Great job guys! read more

We had Same Day Heating, Cooling and Plumbing come over today to do a diagnostic of our heating and air conditioning units. Jesse Puga was very personable and knowledgeable about the systems. He was very thorough in his explanation of what he thought we should have done. Thank you Jesse. read more

Requested a tune-up and inspection because my unit is short cycling. No showed on the appointment . Persisted to say it was my fault for not confirming while there were no attempted calls or text messages. They confirmed when I called to make the appointment, and they gave me the date and time. They proceeded to tell me that they were sending a technician out here and then called and said we have to reschedule. Completely wasted my day and took unnecessary time off work. How unprofessional. read more

It had never dawned on me that after being a homeowner for over 15 years in SD, that major appliances and an AC/heating unit should be serviced at least annually. I put out a search through Yelp and Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning were one of the first people to get back to me. Scheduling was a breeze and the lady who assisted me was extremely nice and personable over the phone. I didn't need any service the same day, but rather to have my AC/heating unit be serviced in our current home of about 6 years. I scheduled a few weeks ago and had our service today by Esteban. He was punctual, personable (as well) and extremely transparent in the condition of our units. He offered feedback where I learned a thing or two regarding our units. Overall, I highly recommend this company if you're in need of AC/heating maintenance read more

Great customer service and exceptional professionalism displayed from start of sale to post ventilation install. I booked a same day appointment online through homedepot website. I received a confirmation text right away. My sales person William called 20 min. prior to arrival which was right on time. Bill was professional, polite and most important, not pushy and he focused on our specific need. He sent us a quote within a couple hours and immediately responded to my questions even though it was a Saturday and Sunday. Regarding the Techs, Lumar and Malic, they showed up right on time the next day and we're also very professional and respectful. They covered their shoes before entering my house, had tarps to put down to protect my floor all the way from front door and upstairs to attic entry. They even sealed off the room area with plastic sheet to protect my furniture located near the attic entrance. They replaced my ducting and made sure to resolved the low airflow issue I was having in certain rooms in my house. When finished they were sure to clean up the work area before they left. I was able to pay over phone via CC with Betsey who also very polite and friendly. Couldn't be more pleased! read more

I had a wonderful experience. I contacted Same Day to ask about getting AC installed. They were able to come out and give me a free estimate really quickly. Paul did a great job breaking everything down. They had availability within a week and the installers showed up right on time. The installers Tony and Jonny were great, very professional, easy to communicate with and friendly. The whole job was completed on schedule and I'm now enjoying my glorious AC system. I really feel like I got an incredible value with the warranty and satisfaction guarantee included, so long as I'm able to get them out here I know I'm not going to need to fix or replace anything for a long time. read more

I have been using Same Day Heating, Cooling and Plumbing for the last couple of years. They have great service, and have done good work for me. We went over the price and got to work. I do plan on using the company again, and will ask for Justin when I need someone to come out. read more

Just this week we had our annual furnace Tune up/inspection. The technician said we had a cracked heat exchanger, and we'd either have to replace it or the whole furnace! Since this would probably cost thousands of $, we decided to get a second opinion. Right after the tech left I called Home Depot. They recommended Same Day. Amazing! Less than two hours later Same Day tech Esteban Reyes was at our house. After a 2 hour, very thorough inspection with camera scope, test equipment, etc. no crack was found ! I watched him do the complete inspection. Esteban is the best HVAC tech I have dealt with. He was friendly, honest, very knowledgeable , has many years experience, and answered all my questions. We decided not to replace the Heat Exchanger or the complete furnace now, saved us $$$$. We are going to use Same Day for all of our future HVAC tune up inspections. read more

My review is soley based on scheduling. I made an appt about 10 days in advance during which I said the home owner would be present for the appointment. During those 10 days preceding the appointment I received 2 text messages and 2 calls to confirm the appointment. One the last call, one day before the appointment, I was asked to provide the phone number of the home owner for confirmation of the appointment. I did. Same Day Heating did not call him to confirm the appointment themselves but I had him call Same Day Heating and he spoke with a rep and confirmed he would be present. The rep said he would update the appointment. Mind you have confirmed this appointment now 4 times and provided the owners phone number for confirmation AND the owner has called and confirmed. The next day, 2 hours before the appointment, Same Day Heating called the homeowner AND CANCELLED the appointment saying they never got confirmation the owner would be there. Mind you, the only reason they had the owners number is because I gave it to them so they could call and confirm. Based on these events I would not trust them with my buisness and will not be rescheduling. read more

Needed to replace an entire A/C unit. Steven, the design technician, gave us the full rundown on what was needed. He assured us on what to expect and was very thorough. He was also able to give us an appointment the following week. Samson and JP (apologies if I spelled their names wrong) came to set up an entirely new A/C unit for my house. They were very efficient and respectful. Once the unit was installed, they cleaned up their work space and gave us further instructions on what to do following the A/C installation. From the first call for an appointment to Chris R (not sure if I should write his last name) arriving for his appointment, we had an excellent experience with Same Day Heating Cooling & Plumbing. In less than 24 hours we had the repair completed. Most excellent part was Chris R helping us understand our 30+ year old system and not over-selling us on a replacement. Robin and his assistant Jalen came to do a yearly checkup. They checked my plumbing which was fine but my hot water heater was not. There were toxic levels of carbon monoxide in my basement and I had no idea. Every time the hot water heater kicked on this gas was being emitted.
