Worst experience ! Money hungry . Doesn't keep up with the latest trends . His nurse is super rude when you have questions Where do I even start... this was one of the worst medical experiences I've ever had. I paid $12,000 for pectoral implants, and from the beginning, things were off. Two different sized implants were placed, leaving my chest visibly uneven. That alone should've never happened at this level. Before doing anything else, I specifically called and asked if it was safe to get BodyTite after my procedure. I didn't guess--I asked. I was told yes, so I moved forward trusting their guidance. That decision ended up costing me everything. The BodyTite procedure caused a rupture in the implant, and when I went back to them to fix it, instead of taking accountability, they tried to charge me AGAIN. Mind you, this was already after a botched, uneven result. In their own emails, they later tried to backtrack and say they don't recommend procedures involving needles near implants--but that's exactly why I called beforehand. If there was any risk, they should have said NO. That's literally their job. Because of their lack of proper guidance and accountability, I had to go elsewhere and spend an additional $35,000 to fix what they caused. Also--let's talk about the money side. They were quick to take my $12K, but wouldn't even honor a $2,000 promotion they were actively advertising, just because I had already booked. That tells you everything you need to know about how they operate. This place is money-driven, not patient-driven. If you have questions or are unsure about anything, understand this: you are NOT going to get the level of guidance you should expect from a surgical office. And when things go wrong, they will distance themselves from responsibility. I would never recommend this office to anyone. SCAM ALERTDr. G is a thief. First of all, I like to tell you that I did try to resolve this one-on-one with Dr. G and his assistant, but it got me nowhere. I came to him a while back to do a scar revision, which was on the whole circumference of my body. He gave me a price and we proceeded with the surgery before the surgery. He advised me only to do half of it because I would be uncomfortable, which I agreed with him to it. I still paid for the full amount of the surgery because it was already paid prior because I was doing financing. during the healing process, I wasn't really happy with the quality of the work and didn't know if I wanted to undergo the pain again to do the front so I waited some time then when I went back and decided OK, I'm gonna give him a second chance and see if he can fix the front that I had already paid for he basically tried to charge me more money when I had already paid for the surgery in full. They advised me to find my original paperwork and get back to them because at that point they weren't willing to do anything for me because they had stated they get completed the work that I paid for which was false so I then found my original paperwork and they charged me almost $7000 for a full scar revision around my waist but instead only did half so now he's telling me that I have to pay more money to do the front which is absolutely ridiculous because I already paid for the full surgery. This place is nothing but scam they rip you off and steal your money clearly nobody in their right mind would pay that kind of money for half of a procedure. You can get a boob job tummy tuck but lift cheaper than that for a little scar revision. I advised them never to use this doctor. Read your reviews do your homework. There are plenty of plastic surgeons in South Florida that do better work than him and add a better price. They charge for consultations now and they're located in expensive part of Miami so don't waste your time go to somewhere more convenient better quality doctors one that are reasonable and actually care about people and not money. This Dr. is simply nothing but a greedy person he could have fixed this and made it right. He did nothing but stare the other way I gave him every opportunity to fix this and make it right and he did nothing. Because he's a greedy Dr. that only cares about money when clearly he has enough and could've easily give me back a few thousand dollars which was owed to me and he did not perform the work that I paid for. i'm sure in his response he'll state that I waited too long, but it doesn't matter how long I waited to do my surgery. You never completed the first part of it. You only did half of it and you charge me for the full amount so if I came back the next day two years 10 years later, it doesn't matter it's because I already paid for it. His work is phenomenal, I ended up getting a full lift as well. Words cannot express the talent that this man has. He brought back my confidence and them some. My incisions from day 1 were straight as could be and you could tell he has been doing this for a long time. I am currently 2 1/2 months out and you cannot really even see them. After significant research and consultations I selected Dr G. He performed an upper eyelid lift, facial fat graft, neck lift, and abdominal liposuction. The upper eyelid lift is excellent. Dr G even was able to remove the crows feet at the side of my eyes. The facial fat graft provided very good results. The neck lift required a revision, with the final results excellent as well. The liposuction results were fair. Each appointment and follow up were personally with Dr G, which is not the case with many surgeons. I had buttock implants approx 20 months ago. There are three options for butt implants: 1, 2 and 3. 1 being the smallest and 3 being the biggest. I told Dr. Gershenbaum that if he could safely fit # 3 in my gluteal muscles, then to do it. Otherwise, the medium-sized 2 would've been more appropriate. He ended up placing the number 3, which were clearly too big for my gluteal muscles. As an experienced surgeon, this is something he should've been able to determine by my body type. About three weeks or so after my surgery, I noticed my incision dehiscing. I had to go through months of painful wound care to salvage the implants. Also, 2 months after the surgery, I was hospitalized and placed on IV antibiotics for about a week. The gaping scar in between my butt cheeks is a scary reminder of what I went through and how the implants were too large for my body. Surprisingly, he really captured the look I wanted without having properly taken the time to listen to me. I won't lie, he did a great job aesthetically. However, now I have to worry about the possibility of the scar reopening and becoming infected. Since scar tissue takes around 6 mos to a year to fully strengthen, it'll be a while before I'm confident in whether or not these implants can stay inside my body. Prior to the surgery, a lot of communication was through his patient coordinator, Eyra. Eyra was more concerned with coordinating payments than anything else. I remember being nearly yelled at by her for a problem with one of my payments. This was unprofessional to say the least. Since the surgery was outpatient, I went back to my hotel that same day. It was obviously painful; I excepted nothing else. What I didn't expect was to have difficulty with urination. I tried all day to pee. After twelve hours of not urinating, I felt immense pressure and pain and decided to go to a local Miami emergency room. I had postoperative urinary retention, which is not uncommon after anesthesia. While at the ER, I actually got my check-up call from Dr. Gershenbaum. I informed him of my prolonged inability to pee and he told me to "go home and try to urinate." You think he would know better. Thankfully, I also happen to be an emergency room nurse, so I knew better. After being catheterized, they drained 1600 mL of urine from my bladder and decided to keep the catheter indwelling temporarily until the retention subsided. As you can see, I did not have a good experience. Regardless of the unprofessionalism, Dr. Gershenbaum was also impersonal and cold. The whole ordeal was awful from start to finisH. read more

I would put "Zero Stars" If I could!!! Doctor Sam Gershenbaum is unprofessional, cheap, have no sense of customer service and won't work with customers to fix a problem. Instead would send one of his assistance to deal with a customer who is asking for what is fair!!! However this was my first time Doctor Gershenbaum saw me to do fillers on me which I paid over $1,000.00 dollars in two syringe!!!! The fillers were completely gone in two weeks!!! I went there calmy thinking to we would came to resolution!!!! I show him pictures when He saw the pictures he notice a sign of complaint and immediately send his assistant Ayda which she told me to pay the cost of the syringe so I can have a retouch?? What retouch??!!! Most fillers last from 4 to 6 months!!!!! not two weeks!!!! Dr. Sam Gershenbaum performed my breast lift (mastopexy) with implants on July 16, 2015. He did an AMAZING job. He pretty much reconstructed my breast because the amount of sagging that I had due to weight loss was incredible. The treatment that I received from his staff was very warm and friendly. I was so terrified because I had never had any plastic surgery but the day of, they made me feel so comfortable. If I had to do the surgery all over again, I would in a heartbeat and I would pick him. I recommend him FULLY!!!
