I've been able to have procedures done for a fraction of what I expected to pay elsewhere. I'm honestly amazed by the affordability and grateful I don't have to travel to Turkey, Colombia or another country. That said, understand the model. This isn't a five-star Ritz-Carlton experience where someone manages everything for you. You need to stay organized, understand the requirements and budget for additional costs. For me, that trade-off is completely worth it. THINGS TO KNOW: * The promotional price is NOT your total cost. Ask upfront for ALL required additional expenses and read the entire packet. * Garments are additional. Procedures such as liposuction require compression garments. * Post-op massages are required for lipo, BBL and many other procedures, and the designated massages have to be done through Zion. * Additional pain management costs extra. Anesthesia is included, but additional options such as a pain-relief injection on surgery day are separate. * Drug testing is required and additional. Miami has many patients who travel here and go home after surgery, plus there are privacy considerations, so I personally looked beyond photos when researching. The facility itself is clean, professional and very nice, and the staff I've dealt with have been friendly. Once you understand the system and complete your requirements, the process is easy. I've seen negative reviews, but they haven't reflected my experience. This is my second surgery here, and I've been extremely happy. I personally believe health and fitness come first--working out, eating clean and taking care of your body are more important than plastic surgery. But there are things diet and exercise simply cannot change. If you want to tighten or enhance something and responsibly use surgery to boost your confidence, that's a personal decision. This is my experience only! I can not even believe most reviews on here as for my experience this place should AT LEAST have 4.5 stars. But I am not invalidating those really bad reviews, I just couldn't, nor can't relate my experience was soo good I'm writing this 5 hours after I came back home. (Also this is my first surgery so I am ignorant to better experiences... This is the only one known to me thus far, and it was very very good.) STEP 1 - BOOKING: Was very easy, my procedure was $2,500 + the surgical bra which was $55. In total: $2,555.00 . To secure my booking I had to pay $255.50 and as of for me since the day I payed the booking fee -- Mia Aesthetics staff would call me every Monday to check up on my LAB work and clearance... There was definitely pressure but like when people are strict and are serious about their job it shows and I like it!!. STEP 2 - LAB WORK/Clearance: Mia Aesthetics staff were very patient with me and continuously gave me more time to submit LAB WORK/clearance. I would wear masks, take long paths JUST to not get second hand smoke, and required my husband, my sister and anyone around me to smoke outside of my house (not just outside my room) and wash their hands afterwards. STEP 3 - PREOP: Amazing pre-op experience! Took less then 30 minutes and I went by myself, all good They'll ask you to sign papers of approval, then direct you to a room where they'll: check you BMI, check your weight/height, ask you how long ago you quit any substances and will be taking your before pictures! STEP 4 - SURGERY DAY: (Note: I coudn't eat or drink anything for 8 hours before the surgery which was the hardest part as I am addicted to drinking water every second... They did provide Gatorade after waking up.) I came in and they asked me to sign some more papers, my surgery was scheduled for 6AM but I was asked to come in at 5AM. I live here in Miami so the commute was splendid. So yeah they asked me to sign some papers, in less than 10 minutes things got REAL... they directed me to a room where they tested me for nicotine, drugs and other things... (Which by the way they'll only test you for nicotine if you have complications if not they won't... If I knew that I would've saved myself the dirty looks of people when I held my breath around them just because they were smoking and I was scared my test was gonna come up positive because of second hand smoke)... Anyways the medical assistant was nice she was very helpful and accommodating, gave me the princess treatment and then the doctor came we discussed sizes and medications... Then the anesthesiologist came by and we talked about if I had any allergies, etc. I wanted to hug her afterwards 'cause she is truly amazing (I can't really remember names, I can barely remember my family bdays) but she was brunette AND also I was so so cold due to the anesthesia so I wasn't gonna do all of that just to hug her, but she was that great and motherly that I was hurting from my breasts and I was still thinking "omg give me a hug you're so nice" SHE WILL HAVE YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES AND OPEN THEN BOOM... Big boobs! ... They then carried me through the back and my sister was ready to pick me up (I came out at 8AM... They whole process probably took 2 hours. I then opted to change surgeons because I thought I really wanted the implants due to wanting larger fuller breasts. I was then assigned Dr. Giorgis. I flew out to Miami to have my procedure and had my pre op appointment the day before which went good. Then the morning of the surgery is when I had finally got to meet the Dr and discuss my implant sizing. We went with a 400cc saline implants with an anchor incision. I was shaken awake and rushed out the door, shaking from the anesthesia. We went to pick up my meds, were given a hard time before MIA had misspelled my last name, had to show my ID and they had to call to verify with MIA. The next day I went in for my post op check up and was okay with my results but they looked odd. Dr. G assured me that they would settle and fluff. By Oct 2025 my breast had "fluffed" but they began to drift more towards my armpit area. The top fullness I wanted wasn't there. Now 14.5 months later, I have major implant malpositioning. They're drifting apart, the left one is visibly lower than the other, they pop out of the breast pocket and create a tubular appearance and it's pretty uncomfortable. I reached out to the office via email with no response. I'm now most likely facing another surgery to have them either adjusted and or removed all to together. After spending $6,000 on the procedure and $3,500 on flights, hotels and other expenses for this procedure I'm very unhappy with the experience. I would not recommend MIA to anyone. Please do your research.

Dr Kaufman has good besdside manners. He talks a lot, he listens what are your goals or priorities…read more He has a good reputation and everyday the waiting room is packed that made me wonder how he managed to see all those patients and do surgeries at the same time. The clinic staffs are very busy. Long waiting time in the waiting room even if you have a 9am appointment, you will be seen past 12noon based on experience. Post op nurses here are always on a rush, they also have earbuds on their ears talking spanish non stop and I cannot understand anything. Even if you're in excruciating pain they don't care, as soon as you wake up they want you in a wheelchair and get out even if you ate groggy. Its affordable here compared to different states that's why most people travel here because the amount you spend will be a quarter of what's for example in the Bay area. But expect you are just a number here. People go in and out and that's it. If you have a problem or complication, you are on your own. Its hard to communicate to the staff even if you are dying or what. Emergency room or PCP will not help you if you have a complication as well. Dr Kaufman is 5/5 but the clinic staffs is 1/5. They recently increased their prices and it takes couple of months to get a schedule.
