Once they received my money, it was a completely different story. Suddenly, getting a response became almost impossible. I originally scheduled my procedure with Dr. Marina Zorrilla. After paying my deposit, booking a hotel, requesting time off from work, and spending money on labs and medical exams, I was told--just days before my surgery--that Dr. Marina no longer works there. Nobody bothered to inform me beforehand. Now they are trying to switch me to a different surgeon, even though I specifically chose and scheduled my surgery with Dr. Marina. The fact that they can book you with one surgeon, take your deposit, let you make all these plans and spend all this money, and then change your surgeon without properly communicating with you is absolutely WILD. I have already spent so much time and money preparing for this procedure, only to have the entire situation changed on me at the last minute. Think twice before giving this place your money. Make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing, including the surgeon performing your procedure, because apparently that can change after you've already paid and made all your arrangements.

To date, I have not seen Dr Ghersi who performed my rhinoplasty once at any follow-up visit -- only assistants. The day before this appointment, the office called to confirm my appointment. During that confirmation call, I specifically asked if I would see Dr. Ghersi and was told I would receive a call back to confirm. That call never happened. I drove one hour to the office. Once I arrived, I was told that Dr Ghersi was running over an hour behind, with no guarantee that I would see him. Had this been communicated in advance, I would not have made the hour drive and just rescheduled the appt because I have been wanting him to see my nose this entire time and confirm everything is okay. At six weeks post-op, this is no longer a routine early follow-up. This is a critical point in healing where the surgeon's direct evaluation matters, particularly for breathing, swelling, and structural assessment. It was disappointing and unsettling to still not have the surgeon personally examine me at this stage. Unfortunately, this was part of a broader pattern. At my pre-operative appointment, the office was also running significantly behind. On the day of surgery, my procedure started hours late, and I nearly cancelled after waiting for an extended period without clear communication. What made this experience especially frustrating is that I have not received direct reassurance, guidance, or evaluation from the surgeon, leaving me uncertain about whether my healing, swelling, and breathing are progressing normally. I feel as though I've had to rely on outside resources to understand my recovery, rather than being guided by the surgeon who performed the procedure. As a result, I do not feel properly cared for during this recovery process. I genuinely believe if I was documenting on social media, Dr Ghersi would've demonstrated "care" to my experience. Again, I have had 3 postop appointments, and Dr Ghersi has not been at any of them. If quality post op care, respect for your time matter to you, I do not recommend Dr Ghersi whatsoever. In fact, I highly recommend Josh Lampert, who is the exact opposite. Always on time, doesn't rush you, answers your questions, actually sees you after he does your surgery. I understand that delays can happen in surgical practices. However, the consistent lack of communication, follow-through, and surgeon involvement throughout my care has been disappointing and has significantly affected my experience. I don't know if everything is OK with my nose or not. I don't know what I'm cleared to do, I have questions that are left unanswered that I have been waiting six weeks to ask, and I honestly feel taken advantage of and uncared for by Dr. Ghersi.

I want to share my experience with Revive because I think it's important for anyone considering a…read morecosmetic procedure to know how situations like this are handled. Like most people making a major decision about surgery, I had consultations with multiple surgeons and surgical centers while trying to find the right fit for me. Two of the practices I had been communicating with were Revive and Revitalize, and unfortunately, I confused the two when making a $1,000 deposit payment. I intended to pay Revitalize but mistakenly used the payment link from Revive. I realized my mistake almost immediately and contacted Revive the very next day to explain exactly what had happened and ask if they could reverse the payment. They declined, citing their policy that the $1,000 surgical deposit is nonrefundable. While I can understand having a nonrefundable deposit policy to protect a business when a patient reserves surgery and later changes their mind, this was not a situation where I intentionally booked with them and then simply decided I didn't want the surgery. I made a genuine mistake between two similarly named practices and contacted them the next morning. After they declined the refund, I even offered another solution. I told Revive that I was willing to leave the entire $1,000 with their practice and use it toward other services they offer . I figured this was a reasonable compromise, they wouldn't have to refund the money, I wouldn't lose $1,000, and they potentially gain a long term client who could continue using their services in the future. They declined that as well. They have now told me in writing that the $1,000 cannot be applied toward any other services and that they will not schedule alternative services in lieu of the deposit. I understand policies exist for a reason. What I find incredibly disappointing is the complete lack of flexibility or customer service in the way this was handled. I contacted them the very next day after realizing an honest mistake. I was even willing to spend the entire $1,000 with their business instead of continuing to ask for it back. Instead, they chose to keep the full $1,000 while providing me no surgery, no alternative services and nothing else in return. To me, that's absurd. A little understanding and willingness to find a reasonable solution could have potentially created a lifetime client. Instead, this experience ensured the exact opposite. I'm not telling anyone else what decision to make. I'm simply sharing exactly what happened to me so prospective patients can consider how this practice handled my situation before deciding where to spend their money.

He also performed a breast reduction to my friend's wife, which also came out good and so this is why I went to see him I had breast implants for 20+ years ago and the right one had become flat on the lower part of my breast as you can see on the picture. I went to see Dr. Pedra with this problem and big insecurity of mine. After the consultation, he told me that the implant had flipped ( I thought it was that they were already 20+ years old and was tike to change them) and that he would replace them with the correct implants so my breast would look normal and natural once again. Only weeks after the surgery, I noticed it started to flatten out once again on the same Breast so I went to see the doctor with concerns and he told me that I need to give it six months to see the final result. I explained to him that I did not want to have the downtime once again and that if it had to be changed that we should do it right away He told me that if it were his mother, wife or daughter, he would have them wait six months before doing anything because it will shape up as to how it should. Against my will, I waited. After six months, I went to see him again and I showed him how it had gotten even worse not better with time. At that point he told me he would have to change it for a firmer implant. I thought he was going do it without charging me again and when I went to schedule the surgery, they tried to charge me all over again well over $9000 When I complained and said, why should I have to pay for a job that was not done correctly the first time all over again? He then offered to pay for one Breast and told me to pay for the other one which still came out to almost $5000 I told them, that it really is an injustice, that I would basically be paying over $15,000 for a new set of breast implants if you count what I paid the first time and what they want to charge me now. I'm very upset because now I am again back to the same problem I had before I went to see him ( a flat breast) but now I'm out of pocket a huge amount of money and I can't afford to spend another 5k to get my breast redone. I'm so upset, I actually thought the doctor and nurses were so sweet until this happened. I would have thought for sure he would have agreed with me about my breast being flat again and would have just scheduled me to get the right set of implants put in Now I don't have the money to fix my breast once again.
