I had an arm lift, an upper back lift and a crescent thigh lift. This crescent thigh lift is where the incision is in the groin and not down the leg. I went back for 2 postop . Still so sore and swollen. I flew home the day of 2nd postop. That day I gave the staff a form from my job for the doctor to sign. FMLA do not cover that type of surgery. I guess only if it was extreme weight loss. They gave me a letter stating they don't outside forms. They said give it to my employer and if they have questions to call them. News flash. It was not accepted by my employer. I work with the state. They refused to let me back on schedule with the letter. I called and begged the doctor's staff to sign the form with no luck. The staff told me they won't be able to respond to me till Monday. This was on a Friday. Now mind you. Before I paid for the surgery. They would email me even on a Saturday. Anyways I got my own doctor to get me back to work. I had a 3rd virtual post op when I came home. Now the swelling was down . I pointed that out to Dr Ziyad . He mentioned we will eventually talk about a revision for my thighs. I was told to send my 1 month updated photos. The incisions on my thighs are so uneven. You can clearly see it over my panty line. The incision my arm is also uneven. I am so upset and frustrated. After being $surgery + airfare + recovery home in a minus. I've sent the photos since last week. Sent another email on Monday. I am six weeks post-op from a $13,000 rhinoplasty (it would've been 15,000, however I did another…read moreservice with Dr. Carlson, who is absolutely amazing by the way) and today was my third post-operative appointment. To date, I have not seen Dr Ghersi who performed my rhinoplasty once at any follow-up visit -- only assistants. The day before this appointment, the office called to confirm my appointment. During that confirmation call, I specifically asked if I would see Dr. Ghersi and was told I would receive a call back to confirm. That call never happened. I drove one hour to the office. Once I arrived, I was told that Dr Ghersi was running over an hour behind, with no guarantee that I would see him. Had this been communicated in advance, I would not have made the hour drive and just rescheduled the appt because I have been wanting him to see my nose this entire time and confirm everything is okay. At six weeks post-op, this is no longer a routine early follow-up. This is a critical point in healing where the surgeon's direct evaluation matters, particularly for breathing, swelling, and structural assessment. It was disappointing and unsettling to still not have the surgeon personally examine me at this stage. Unfortunately, this was part of a broader pattern. At my pre-operative appointment, the office was also running significantly behind. On the day of surgery, my procedure started hours late, and I nearly cancelled after waiting for an extended period without clear communication. What made this experience especially frustrating is that I have not received direct reassurance, guidance, or evaluation from the surgeon, leaving me uncertain about whether my healing, swelling, and breathing are progressing normally. I feel as though I've had to rely on outside resources to understand my recovery, rather than being guided by the surgeon who performed the procedure. As a result, I do not feel properly cared for during this recovery process. I genuinely believe if I was documenting on social media, Dr Ghersi would've demonstrated "care" to my experience. Again, I have had 3 postop appointments, and Dr Ghersi has not been at any of them. If quality post op care, respect for your time matter to you, I do not recommend Dr Ghersi whatsoever. In fact, I highly recommend Josh Lampert, who is the exact opposite. Always on time, doesn't rush you, answers your questions, actually sees you after he does your surgery. I understand that delays can happen in surgical practices. However, the consistent lack of communication, follow-through, and surgeon involvement throughout my care has been disappointing and has significantly affected my experience. I don't know if everything is OK with my nose or not. I don't know what I'm cleared to do, I have questions that are left unanswered that I have been waiting six weeks to ask, and I honestly feel taken advantage of and uncared for by Dr. Ghersi.

Throughout the process I always felt safe and comfortable. I was beyond happy with my results and my surgery truly changed my life. I would and have highly recommend Dr. Tal for your surgery needs. Now for the long version... I'm a 37 year old mother of 2. An 8 year old and a brand new 10 month old baby at the time of my surgery. I went to Dr. Tal because I felt it was finally time to do something for myself. I didn't tell Dr. Tal the full extent of what the surgery would mean to me until weeks after my surgery was completed. Nevertheless, he listened to every single big or small "wish" I had for myself, and told me he would do his very best to make sure that he accomplished everything I wanted for myself.  Prior to the surgery I had not been without my sports bra unless I was showering for 2 years. I had done my initial implants at the age of 18 at another surgeons office. Now time, having 2 children, life... made them one of the things about myself I was most unhappy with. I had spent 8 years in a very abusive marriage and was shamed for my body among other things, and I had almost lost hope that I would ever love to look myself in the mirror again. My breasts were huge, sagging, my nipples were gigantic and the pockets of my breasts were so wide. It's important to note that every other surgeon I saw wanted to do what was easier for THEM. They wanted to compensate for the large breast tissue and large nipples by doubling the size of my implants. They said this was the way to go. They said it would be near impossible to accomplish what I wanted. What did I want? I wanted smaller boobs. I wanted to lift my boobs. I wanted small, normal size nipples that didn't show out of the top of my sports bra no matter what size I bought. I wanted to be able to look in the mirror again and feel proud. Thank you to Dr. Tal - My new breasts are gorgeous. Even more beautiful than when I originally did them with my 18 year old super healing skin. My implants are smaller and perky. I absolutely love them. The scars are healing amazingly and they look better and better everyday. My back doesn't hurt anymore. I can wear whatever bra I want and my nipples never pop out. I don't have to spend time all day shifting my boobs around to try and make them look even and normal under my shirt and my sports bra. I can even go without a bra and my nipples are small and evenly placed which is a true miracle to me. This has changed my life. I know many people will feel like this is silly and cosmetic. But getting my love for my body back at the age of 37 is more than I could ever have dreamed of. It has now been 3 months since my surgery. I went from a 36DD to a very very happy 36C. I came here and saw all the bad reviews, and I still went with my intuition and decided to go with this clinic anyway. I did not pay ahead of time. I paid the full balance when I got there in person at the consultation. (Not including the 250 fee, i paid that ahead of time) They definitely communicate extensively weeks before your surgery (even months). Letting you know Exactly what you need. So I came fully prepared with medical clearance and all labs required. So that was a breeze. I met Dr. Pacheco, the day of my surgery, early in the morning and we had at least an hour conversation about the ins and outs and everything that I wanted to know she answered everything extensively. Even providing me with links of stuff to purchase for recovery& her email address so i can contact her directly. I got lipo and a tummy tuck. She made me feel extremely comfortable and shes very warm hearted. She took care of me as if I was her own daughter. Going Into surgery and coming out. I Also paid extra to get the shot directly into the abdomen. That lasts for 72 hours to help with pain. In the recovery floor of the clinic, I also paid to get a vitamin/hydration IV. Which I feel also helped a lot in my recovery. They did not try to rush me off of the recovery floor I was there for a couple of hours at least before my hired aftercare nurse came to pick me up. The company i chose was 'premier private care services' & i got Jazmine who was an absolute angel. I Did not go with the recovery house that they suggested called "mels recovery house" because the woman that runs the house could not answer the questions properly and I did not feel comfortable. Plus you cant find anything about them online.. It seems like that recovery house isn't up to par, so I decided to go with my own company that I did My own research on. I stayed in Miami for 11 days, and I saw Dr. Pacheco, for follow-ups Twice a week. Lisbeht her nurse is absolutely amazing as well. I had exactly 4 follow-up visits with Dr. Pacheco and her nurse Lisbeht and they took exceptional care of me. Giving me all the info i needed and also changing my dressings and the tape on my incision so I didn't have to. Overall i had a 5 star experience. Would definitely recommend Dr Pacheco all day.
