Got a procedure to fix my lateral displacement and to get smaller implants and I could honestly say I love my results!

So it seems like they took my original review down. I just wanna say this doctor is the worst doctor I've ever been to in my life. Just read the reviews. You can see the horror stories. He only cares about you if you have money or some kind of connection. He ruined my breasts! I had gigantic scars around the lift that he did for me. And ended up having to have them removed because they made me sick. I went through six years of hell trying to figure out why I had developed an auto immune disease. Turns out my body was rejecting the implants. Something that was never explained to me as a risk. This doctor is not notorious for fighting with anybody who gives him a negative review. Buyer beware, Dr. Leonard Hochstein believes in quantity over quality. When Dr. Hochstein agreed to do my preop consultation on the morning of my surgery because I was coming from out of state, he had so many patients scheduled that day my consultation was skipped. I would've absolutely reminded him to go smaller than bigger with my breast augmentation as I was getting a lift to correct my large implants from another Miami plastic surgeon, 8 years prior. He claimed he was the right choice as he was performing 1500 procedures a year. Well, maybe that should've been an indication that he packs you in and doesn't allow for enough time. My areolae/nipples were not cut perfectly circular. My breasts were still a size D coming out of there. Also, the incisions made under my breasts are close to 10 inches in length and with the initial cut thicker and visible with any low cut dress/shirt. Lastly, due to his 10% off on other procedures, I had him perform liposuction on back and stomach which was also done poorly, leaving me ripples on my back and dimples on my stomach. For years, I never wrote up how I felt and decided I should. It has always bothered me that I walked away with such shoddy results. Taking the time to have my pre-consultation that morning may have made a difference in the size of the breasts I have today. I would have implored the smaller the better! And him rescheduling the liposuction bc of his over committed schedule (I was a morning surgery that never took place until 1:30pm) may have also made a difference on the quality of liposuction performed. I had my rhinoplasty done by Dr. Leonard Hochstein about 15 years ago, and unfortunately, I've been disappointed with the results ever since. From the very beginning, I noticed that the tip of my nose looked extremely large. I brought it up during my follow-up appointments, but he repeatedly told me it was just swelling and that it would go down. Well, fast-forward to today--and the tip is still huge. More recently, I've been dealing with breathing issues and was diagnosed with a deviated septum. I reached out to his office to explain everything I've been going through, and they responded saying he wanted to see me in person. I made time to go in, only to be told there was "nothing he could do" and that I should go elsewhere to get my septum fixed. I left feeling completely dismissed and confused--shouldn't a proper rhinoplasty include correction of a deviated septum? If there was never any intention to help, I'm not sure why they had me come in at all. The appointment felt like a waste of my time, and Dr. Hochstein showed no interest in addressing the outcome of a surgery he performed. I expected more accountability and care from someone with his reputation. What's actually shocking is that your office told me to come in knowing full well there was "nothing you could do," as you stated in your reply. If that's the case, why not save both of us the time and just say that upfront in your email response? Also, it's concerning to hear you say there was no cartilage left to remove. Isn't removing all the cartilage from the tip both extreme and structurally unsound? I'm now left with a large, unsupported tip and breathing issues, yet you dismissed the concerns as if they're unrelated to the original surgery. Whether it's been 15 years or 15 months, patients come back because we trusted you with our faces and health. I didn't expect a miracle--I expected professionalism and at least some accountability for work you performed. Instead, I left feeling brushed off and blamed. My experience with Leonard Hochstein was a nightmare. I thought I was going to the "Boob God" but I feel and look like I went to Satan's Surgeon. When I first met Leonard Hochstein he seems cold and rushed but I figured he was just super busy because he's a celebrity surgeon afterall. His office is clean because he knows you're about to spend at least an hour there regardless of your appointment time. I got a breast augmentation from the Leonard Hochstein on January 21, 2022. At 2 weeks post op I reached out to my coordinator, Karina Ruiz, to ask about the pain and discomfort I was still experiencing. She told me it was normal and to wait until 6 weeks post op at least for the pain to be gone. At 4 and a half weeks I reached out again because the pain became unbearable and my right areola was sinking in more and more. Karina once again told me to wait until 6 weeks because I was "still in the early healing stages". I made an appointment to come in at 6 weeks just to be told by Hochstein that he doesn't see anything wrong. He told me it was impossible for me to have an infection. I voiced my concerns because my younger sister was suppose to get her boobs done by him too on April 1st and I didn't want go through the same thing, to which Hochstein responded with "then let's pay not do it". Luckily I got my deposit for her back but I expected more compassion and empathy from someone that refers to himself as the "Boob God". I suffered for two more weeks then these bruise like red markings appeared on my left breast. At this point my left boob is visibly more swollen, my incisions are red, and I'm still in excruciating pain. I emailed Karina pictures and she said I still had no signs of infection. I went to urgent care because my physical therapist told me she believes I have an infection and didn't want me to sit around waiting when something is clearly wrong. I was prescribed topical and oral antibiotics for 10 days because I indeed did have an infection. The antibiotics brought down the swelling in my left boob so you can now clearly see that it's deformed. The topical antibiotics were able to help my right areola come back out. I emailed Karina again after finishing my antibiotics on April 23 with pictures of the bruises getting worse, pleading with her to be examined to make sure everything's okay, to which she responded with "There was no infection. It was always a bruise. This bruising is not from the surgery but there must have been some recent trauma in the last month that has caused it so my suggestion is to limit activity so they can heal" and to wait until 6 months post op. I've been in bed for 18+ hours a day for months so it's impossible for me to cause trauma to one boobs and not know. My mom took off work on April 26 so she could take me to Hochstein's office and demand that I be seen. He finally came in and told me all the things I've been telling him I'm concerned about: the skin is getting very thin, this is very dangerous, somethings gone terribly wrong. At first he recommended that I have them both removed because he doesn't know what's wrong, then he says "it looks like you're trying to develop a contracture". He then told me I had to get both implants removed immediately because if I wait a couple more days the implant would burst through my chest skin, all within 3 minutes of the examination. He said to wait at least 2 months after the explant to put new ones in since my implants are lifetime guaranteed. He then emailed me 2 weeks after my explant to say he isn't comfortable redoing my implants and I won't be getting a refund. I've been a fitness model since 2018. Getting boobs was going to triple my income, at the very least. I haven't been able to work or really workout since I got the implants. I paid $7300 for the "safest and most comfortable care" but I ended up with boobs that don't even look like they should be next to each other. I was quoted $11k for more surgery to fix the damages but I've already lost over $50K in the last 4 months from not working and have another 6 months to go. I took a star away for the lack of bed side manners, false advertisement, and horrendous results. I left his office two stars because at least they're responsive, but he barely deserves this one star. The mental and physical damage Leonard Hochstein caused me will take years and lot of money to fix. Just because he's charging more than every one else in miami, doesn't mean you'll be getting the best service. I wish I would've asked around because everyone in miami has or has heard of a horror story about Leonard. I had my breast lift and breast augmentation in May 2019. My consultation was in July of 2018. I know there are a lot of people that say he is cold or doesn't have good bedside manner, but the fact of it is, he is straight to the point and knows what he is doing. At my consultation he took the time to explain things to me and made sure I had an understanding of the procedures he was going to preform. After the consult, Karina explained pricing to me and how everything would work. When I came in for my preop appointment I showed him a picture of what I was hoping for and he explained that he would get as close as he could to that result, but that since my anatomy was different it wouldn't be identical to my wish pic. Day of surgery came and I was the first surgery of the day. The only complaint I have was that I do t think I was ready to be released from recovery. I was super out of it and my companion almost had to wheel me up to our hotel room on a luggage cart because I was barely lucid enough to walk to our room. Dr Hochstein called me the evening of my surgery to make sure everything was okay. I had surgery on a Friday, post op on Monday and flew home Tuesday with absolutely zero complications. Recovery at home went very smooth and except for a few emails to Karina to calm my nerves, everything was very easy. When I went into this I wasn't looking for a Dr that was going to be over the top, I was looking for a Dr that knew what they were doing and would steer me in the right direction. read more

Dr. Hochstein is extremely professional. He is also a perfectionist and will go above and beyond to make sure you get the best results possible. Of course we as patients have to make sure we do our part too during pre-op and post op. I have been married 7 years and my husband has never seen me fully naked. Dr. Hochstein has given me the confidence I needed to finally feel confident about myself. My husband and I can not thank you enough. To the amazing office staff, that is always there to answer questions, (special shout out to Amanda who I swear is an angel!) and to nurses walking the hall way always greeting you and saying "hello beautiful" truly makes his facility number 1 in my book. The med spa is also amazing, I can not wait to book another Hydrafacial with Angela and the products she recommended have my face glowing like never before! I went to Dr. Hochstein with a "botched bod" from a prior plastic surgeon who had done a disgraceful job and said 'nobody will be able to fix you,' YES, those very words had been said to me. I wanted the best and I mean the very best since I had PTSD from the prior Dr. I had went to. I wanted this to be the ONE. I live in California so it was a process for me to plan my surgery out since it was on the other side of the country from where I live. I worked with one of the out of state coordinators - Jennifer Hyder, every step of the way. She made it an extremely pleasurable experience and this was before I had even stepped foot in the actual office. She was diligent and competent which helped put me at ease as the stress of being an out of state patient seemed oppressive. Dr. Hochstein at first glance appeared to be consummate, as his pre-eminence in his work is internationally recognized. For me personally, fortitude is demonstrated through of higher quality listening and more often listening than one speaks. As some Doctors when you first meet them go on and on and neglect to convey the actual issue at hand. Not Dr. H, He is CCC (cool, calm, & collective) and immediately is able to map out the objective and produce stellar results. I will never go anywhere else now that I have had the upmost privilege of meeting him and being exposed to his work. And I just love him for correcting the prior work I had done and also for the new work I was having done (TT, breast lift, & new implants). Lastly, Dr. Hochstein has an extremely polished staff/team. I had surgery less than a year ago. My results are not good. One breast is bigger than the other and they are starting to sag. I voiced my concern in 2 occasions and I was told I had to pay more money. I should have received a revision. This was not my fault. I took almost 2 months off from work to heal correctly as told by the doctor. It took me years to be able to get this surgery because at the time I didn't have credit nor the money to pay for it. As of 2/26/19 my opinion about this doctor no longer stands as I had to have an emergency revision surgery less than a year from having a breast augmentation with this physician. It was an emergency surgery because I was severely deformed. I'm writing this review after reading what I consider some very unjust reviews & seemingly vicious attempts to tarnish Dr. Hochstein's reputation & the one of his staff. Before I start, I should mention that I went back to review my patient agreement with Dr. Hochstein's office & didn't find any mention of Dr. Hochstein or related parties suing me for past/present "negative" reviews so the notion that states on some reviews on yelp - "you can not write a negative review on him or he will file a lawsuit against you for $20k" - seemed pretty far fetched..! Also, I have referred so many of my friends to Dr. Hochstein and NOT 1 has been dissatisfied with any of the procedures they have done or his bedside manners. Dr. Hochstein is not "warm and fussy"...He is mild mannered, direct, honest and a true professional and that's who I need to get my procedures done and keep me alive on the operating table...! Now let's review - 5 yrs. ago, at 45yrs. old, I had a "Mommy Makeover" procedure done by Dr. Hochstein which entailed a breast reduction, lift, no implants, tummy tuck & liposuction. When I went for my consultation, Dr. Hochstein took a look at my post baby & aging 45yr. old body & stated matter of factly, "this is what needs to be done. Your body due to aging & pregnancy will not go back to its original state even with exercise & proper diet". Finally...!, I thought, somebody, other than me, understood my dissatisfaction. I'm only 5'3 & had sagging DD & F breasts respectively, a 2" flesh looking scar, from an emergency ovarian surgery, running from my belly button all the way down to my C-Section line. He not only had to reconstruct my breasts but also needed to remove my scar, create a new belly button & get rid of the post pregnancy "mommy pouch"...what a task..but I was SO ready...! I waited for the Summer of that year to do the procedure so I could fully be able to recover. Amanda started taking care of my questions, concerns & became my liaison throughout this whole process. She was & still is a Godsend & now happy to say, the office mgr. She was available to answer any of my questions at any given time of the day which takes professionalism to the next level. More so, so were all the ladies in Dr. Hochstein's office. From Jen, patient coordinator, that while taking my pre & post pics was so encouraging & filled with optimism which I truly needed before the surgery & afterwards when I was seeing my body slowly healing - to the receptionist that always greeted me with a smile. After the surgery, I saw immediate results even with a recently operated body. The scars didn't immediately disappear; but unlike other reviews I've read, I can't blame Dr. Hochstein for my body's own healing & slow-dissolving scarring process. After 6 weeks & with my body still healing, I went from a size 8-10 to a 4-6, from 150 to 130, from an XL shirt to be able to buy from the sample sale rack a - XS/S shirt. In other words, not only did my body now look like I thought in my mind it should have always looked like given my height and frame; but now, there was that extra confidence level that I needed to complete my whole "self" - may sound vain or shallow, but we all need to feel good about ourselves and it needs to encompass it all - body, brain, soul, etc. and Dr. Hochstein created the piece that was missing; and for that, I will always be grateful. Years later, Dr. Hochstein created the MedSpa and what a treat that has been and definitely complements and completes his "beauty world". I've tried their facials and bar none, they are worth trying...! very little if any down time and really makes your skin feel rejuvenated and healthy which my 50 yr. old face is truly grateful for. Aging is inevitable but aging with grace is up to us...! Now, I'm 50 and menopause and again aging have taken a noticeable difference on my body that I'm not content with so I'm planning on having a liposuption done in certain parts of my body. I will post a review once it gets done which I cannot hardly wait...!!!! I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Hochstein above anybody else. If you are looking for a cheap-fast-strip mall type of Dr., he's not for you. I had a twin pregnancy and c section that left my belly in really rough shape. I felt like I was not in my own body anymore with the mommy pouch and loose skin. I hated looking in the mirror.. I did a lot of research on surgeons and chose Dr. Hochstein. The reason why I chose Dr. Hochstein for my surgery was because while I was out in south Florida, I'd admire women's breast augs, ask them where they got them done and the majority responded with Dr. Lenny. I knew I had to have him perform my surgery. This was my first ever breast aug and I had no idea what to expect/what to get. I was extremely flat chested (in my eyes I was a -A) and I wanted a full C. Dr. Hochstein suggests 3 sizes based on the cup size you want to have. My pre-op apt was the day before my surgery, which I should not have booked it at that time because I was super nervous overall for the surgery; regretfully and irrationally I selected the smallest of the 3 sizes, 355 cc moderate profile. Since I was extremely flat, unfortunately that size resulted in a full B cup and not a C . When you go for your Pre-op appointment, be sure to ask specific questions (I.e., if this is the ccs I select, what cup size will I get). I was not clear with what I wanted and now that I'm 3 months post-op, I realized that my more desired breast size is actually a small D cup with high profile. My recommendations for women getting breast augs: 1) don't book your preop apt immediately the day before surgery (I was too nervous to make rationale decisions), also I had to go to 5 different pharmacies to find one that would fill the scripts (this caused me so much stress the night before my surgery 2) ask the right questions when discussing size and be clear about what you want 3) if you're considering getting a breast aug, don't second guess it and just do it. I wish I would've done this years ago. Constructive feedback: One thing that I think would've helped guide me to determine the size I actually wanted is if the before & after pics on his website described each surgery , i.e., the before breast size, the implant size that was used and projection. Even though I'm not happy with the size I selected, overall the breast aug was a success; I've had 0 complications with my new boobs, 0 infections, no reactions to silicone, minimal scarring, they still look fabulous, I receive so many compliments on them, people tell me that they fit my body perfectly, I've never felt this confident, and After being on this earth for 29 years, I finally feel like a woman . Going to wait 3 more months for them to fully drop, but I will most likely get them redone, and I will have Dr. Hochstein redo them. Also I have to compliment my coordinator, Amanda. She was beyond helpful, I once emailed her late on a Sunday, anxious about something, I was so astonished that she emailed me back within 30 mins on a weekend. Tummy Tuck with Dr. Hochstein and things did NOT go as planned. We discussed a LOW incision with a small vertical incision he suggested to keep the scarring low. I agreed but woke up without the plans executed and a very high incision. I knew right away it was too high on my long torso on my 6" frame, leaving my scar unsightly and visible. As you can read in the below review, I had a different opinion in a previous review I made and gave him 3 stars bc I was still healing & he promised to correct it; it wasn't until after he read my 3 star review that he took personal offense eem though I didn't say anything bad and decided he would NOT be correcting his mistakes. I still have no idea what I said that was wrong but it really offended him to the point where he called me and offered me money ($1000.00) to remove the review. I was never trying to discredit him, ESPECIALLY when he heard my concerns about the incorrect placement of the incision and the anatomically incorrect placement of my belly button and he agreed that it was high and he would fix it. I declined the $1000.00 offer because, how dare he? What surgeon does that? At that point I just wanted my money Mmmback so that I could move forward with planning a revision with a surgeon who I felt cared more about their patients satisfaction than a review. He declined refunding me my money and said all he could do was the $1000.00. Thankfully, I recorded and saved that phone conversation of his offer as well as have emails where he admits his surgical errors with regard to the location and promises to correct it. I have never met a surgeon who values his social media reputation above a patients experience? This was my second time having plastic surgery (had my breast done; not by him) and never was treated so dismissively. Also, the response he posted to my previous 3 star review & was very unprofessional and condescending in my opinion. I have NEVER given him permission to post my photos without my consent? The before photo, was taken in his office, the after photo I took in MY BATHROOM at home to show him of my recovery progress and high scar/ belly button concerns via my personal email. I especially did not agree to the in office photo or send my personal photo for him to later use to make disparaging remarks about my body. He edited his reply and removed the part where he stated my abdomen was "obliterated" in my before photo. Who says that? (1.)It is not. I had 2 pregnancies and 2 hernia repair surgeries and I'm a thin person. (2.) Thank goodness in not insecure and reading that didn't affect my confidence. To read him speak about my body in that way is/was disgusting. I was not unhappy with my body or ashamed and did not appreciate the criticism. I carried 2 children to term NATURALLY, in my OWN body, BEAUTIFULLY and I just wanted this operation to regain some abdominal strength & get a new belly button. After 1 year of saving; I got a long high scar, a high belly button, was hospitalized, received blood transfusions bc I was internally bleeding, CT scans and plans for revision. I took a screenshot of his initial disgusting response before he edited it, I know this is long, but if I were to do this all over again I would go with a surgeon who doesn't call himself a "god" that should have been a red flag. Go with a surgeon who doesn't lie about having documents that say you "can't say anything negative about him" bc he DOES have them (I did not sign it). He admitted he did have them and "didn't know they were illegal" when confronted by reporters ( you can google it). Also, scroll through the few negative reviews that pop up here on YELP or anywhere else that mention that document and he calls the former patients liars etc. even though he did have them? Nothing I said in this review is wrong or inaccurate. Just a honest review of my experience with photos to support. Poor surgery experience, poor recovery, poor scarring. I had a mommy makeover by Dr.Hochstein on 1/4/19 and i am now 3 days post op. I feel and look absolutely amazing! Dr.hochstein and his staff were just perfection in every aspect. His bedside manor is impeccable! He called me the night of surgery to check in with me to see how i was doing. I asked him every single question that i could Think of and instead of getting annoyed he answered every single one and put my mind at ease! I drove all the way from NC to Miami Florida to see him and oh was it worth it! I would travel around the world just to be seen by him again. As an out of town patient I came to Dr. Hochstein because of his impeccable reputation to have him fix a botched boob job done by another surgeon. I was nervous at the idea of flying to Florida for surgery when I live in California, but from the second I contacted the office and spoke with Amanda I knew I'd be in the best hands. Dr. Hochstein is very pleasant and to the point. He doesn't waste time with fluff, which I appreciated. The girls in the office are all wonderful. Amanda helped me from start to finish booking my surgery and she is an absolute angel. I wish I could remember all the wonderful nurses names in the OR room because they were also all wonderful! I was referred to Dr. Hochstein by a friend up here in Boston, MA. My surgery is scheduled soon. My experience so far has been amazing. Amanda is very responsive, understanding, easy to work with, consistent, thorough, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and never bothered with my correspondence. I am looking forward to seeing the Dr. as he was able to consult me via online pictures/ Medical HX etc. The ease of inquiring and scheduling has made diminished any apprehension I may have had. I went to Dr. Hochstein for a tummy tuck. The entire experience from the initial consultation to the surgery and follow up appointments were seamless. The staff were all amazing and attentive. i do not recommend this doctor at all. I live in seattle and flew here for breast augmentation and lift. this felt like going to chick-fil-A literally in and out in 10 min. he doesn't care for you . he just asked what size you want and thats. now looking back I probably never needed implants I had enough volume - should have just needed a lift . nope, you can tell he is in this Job for the money and lifestyle . I just had a revision last month In seattle by a fantastic doctor and he showed me that dr hochstein placed completely two different textured implants on me . why? nobody knows . he either ran out of sets or just didn't care . my surgery was so painful with him while my surgery in seattle was the best experience I could imagine . I just see how defensive he is with patient reviews and that speaks volume on his professionalism. Biggest regret letting this unexperienced person do my surgery . Ladies I am hoping to save you ! I had surgery from this doctor 3 years ago. I am about to have to do a SECOND revision because of his rushed negligent first surgery. I went to him because of his social media and fake reviews. When my husband and I were there his consultation was cold and quick. We had a bad gut feeling but ignored it. We flew in from out of state so we felt committed. When I showed up for surgery, we had to sign an addendum to not post any "negative reviews" or we would be sued. The surgery is performed in a surgical suite at his office. Higher chance of infection, excessive bleeding etc. the surgery was very quick. I was in and out in little over an hour. I had very excessive bleeding and bruising the night of and called the line but never spoke to a nurse or a doctor, only patient coordinator (who is not a skilled medical professional). The next day I went in (I later found out I had a hematoma (excessive bleeding) that should have been dealt with was brushed off). I never saw a nurse that day. They get their money and due masses of surgeries quick and the post op care is non existent. Long story short, a week went by and I was home a few states away. I called and sent in pictures of a very clear problem. Lots of bruising and bleeding and tethering. The patient coordinator said it's "not a problem" and to continue to let it heal. Mind you, I never spoke with a nurse or the doctor. He was rushed during the surgery, I was just a number. The post op was extremely rushed and not handled correctly. I had to have a local doctor fix the capsular contracture that formed - never got my money back or any attention from Dr. Hochstein. A revision specialist said my problems were due to a dirty surgical area and untreated bleeding/hematoma. And I'm at risk of repeat capsular contracture bc of the way the initial surgery was handled. Dm me for more details, I just want to try and save the next victim who falls prey to the fake social medial and fake reviews. I went in not knowing a lot of facts that i know now. 25k later and a lot of emotional trauma... but you won't see the truth bc of the clauses he has in his contract he makes you sign.
