Tzatziki tacos were fabulous! Glad I got a picture before they were gobbled up. YUMMY!

I'm shocked that the rating of this place is not higher. Perhaps people are just jerks and critical. We visited Aiken today and I was very impressed with the town and this restaurant. I am happy to say this is not a franchise style restaurant, which I despise. We had lunch and sat at the bar. The restaurant was exceptional clean. The staff was professional and efficient. The food was amazing and well prepared with fresh ingredients. Absolutely loved everything I put in my mouth. I had the tzatziki tacos and a side salad. My friend had a lobster roll and potatoes. Everything g was delicious and service and atmosphere made our lunch so enjoyable. I literally can't wait to come back...nothing like this where I live.

    Pork chops

Awesome find. Love this little quaint restaurant. Had the pork chops with mashed potatoes and what appeared to be homemade applesauce with a hint of honey. Service was excellent.

We ordered frogs legs, mozzarella sticks and shrimp fondue for appetizers. The shrimp fondue was absolutely delicious!! Frog legs and mozzarella sticks were fresh and hot. My daughter and I had the Mother's Day specials with shrimp, scallops, oysters, lobster tail and rib eye steak. OMG, it was one of the best meals I have eaten in quite a while!! Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. We will be back soon and often. By the way, I live 50 minutes from the restaurant but will gladly drive for the delightful food!

When she brought our drinks, they were one was cuffed under her arms (3 drinks). She finally took our order. Then she brought to us, I guess an appetizer which looked like a cornbread fritter. It was overcooked and dry‍. When we received our entree, we had Mac n cheese, collard greens, seafood rice and a seafood boil. The collard greens were extremely sweet, rice and Mac n cheese were dry like leftovers. Now the seafood boil was plentiful but it was doused in margarine with clumps all over the plate, cold and not melted at all. The fish was cooked good but no seasoning. I was truly disappointed and my last visit here, perhaps I came a on a bad day because they sure had less than 7 customers seated. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Starting with our drinks, we both had coffee-which I would return for the coffee alone! It was bold, curious, mysterious and honestly had me asking for the name of the coffee before I left! We had a server in training, so two servers! Both were outstanding! Quick to refill our drinks and remove plates that were empty. The food.....let me just say I not only spoke with management, I also was able to speak with the head chef to give my praise. I am not one to sing false praise, trust me. When I tell you I have never, ever, had a brunch as delicious as his!!! I am a French toast connoisseur, and his was a 12/10! There was not one bite of food that wasn't outstanding. I was truly impressed, with his creativity and his attention to detail because it shined like a diamond from the front of house all the way down to the sweet lady filling the cakes when I was taking my pictures for this review! "Let me get it all full and pretty now before you get those pictures!" I mean, if she wasn't just the sweetest thing, and took 100% pride in her work. Same with the gentleman working the omelet station. He came in the day before to prep the fish (which is a long day of work!) The love they put into each dish truly shines through effortlessly! With permission, personally, I would suggest they rename their Sunday Brunch to "Soul-filled Sunday Brunch" because #1 I left ready to go to sleep! #2 I had a religious experienced during that meal, in blessings and dining I have only ever had at Church Potlucks! #3 It elevated some fancy and some common foods to such heights, I was expect to be hearing gospel music while I ate! #4 Personally, I hope heaven's banquet table is much like today's-full of love, flavor and most importantly-community! Everyone from other diners enjoying their brunch to servers, sous chefs to the top man himself-not one person wasn't smiling from ear to ear. It's been near a decade since I've seen that many smiling people all in one place! While I will have to limit how often I come for Brunch lest my clothes start shrinking! Edgar's by far, takes the trophy for elevated dining experiences in Augusta, Ga! Best of all, a percentage of all their sales goes back directly into Helms College (located in the same shopping center.) Helms college offers hands-on education in culinary arts, health services, and industrial trades like HVAC/R. Keep up the amazing work, I eagerly look forward to dining with you again!

The food still felt authentic and full of true Hawaiian flavor. Coming from a family with roots in the Big Island and Maui, I can appreciate when a place captures that genuine island-style taste and atmosphere. One thing that really stood out was how they start you off with fresh in-house made pork rinds, similar to how Mexican restaurants serve chips and salsa when you sit down. It was a unique and welcoming touch. We ordered the spicy poke, Spam musubis, and a mixed BBQ plate with two scoops of mac salad. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The mac salad especially had that classic island-style taste that's hard to find done right. The staff was friendly, the decor looked great, and the restaurant had a warm, inviting feel. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for authentic Hawaiian comfort food.
