They (on their Instagram page) announced they were going out of business days later. No notification to the email address they had on file. It was basically theft. Do not trust salt and sweat. My husband used them for semaglutide shots and the so called "Dr. Annie" told the location to give him a shot with the wrong dosage. Instead of the .75 mg shot my husband was supposed to receive he was given 2.5 mg. He became violently ill for a few weeks with ongoing vomiting and diarrhea for days and missed 4 days of work. When the clinic realized that they had given him nearly triple the dose all they wanted to do was apologize and give him extra months of the shot. We politely asked that they return his money back for the mistake they made and the owner refused. If you want to get weight loss shots I suggest you go to an actual doctors office and do not trust salt and sweat. My husband was very lucky because his physican said the outcome could have been fatal if he did not sneak medical treatment. read more

There was ample parking (a huge positive) since that is a concern after you hit 30 years old for some reason. Will definitely come back here again and bring friends. I booked a prenatal massage for myself. When I arrived, the massage therapist had no idea that I was pregnant/that the massage scheduled was a prenatal massage. She proceeded to tell me that the business shouldn't book prenatal massages because they don't have the proper equipment. I felt so awkward, and thought I should leave but then she told me she would get some pillows and figure it out. She got a body pillow and there was no pillow for my head. She had to get towels for my head. I also filled out a form in the beginning noting that I would like a quiet relaxing massage. The therapist was chatty and was trying to speak with me the entire first 15 minutes. What is the point of the form ? I was so uncomfortable the entire time - my neck was in a weird position, the table couldn't incline (which is important for a prenatal massage), and I contemplated just getting up and leaving. I think it's disgraceful that they book prenatal massages. The owners should be ashamed of themselves for selling a service they are not equipped to offer. Overall terrible experience. Really upsetting as someone who is 37 weeks pregnant trying to treat themself to something nice. read more

I went to Salt + Sweat today for the first time and thought the facility was pleasant, clean, and quaint. The front desk associates were friendly and helpful. I did the HigherDose infrared sauna which was great BUT I will warn first time guests about the noise. My usual HigherDose sauna experiences in the city are in a private room where you can hear your own thoughts, very relaxing and peaceful which was what I was expecting. Unfortunately due to Westchester coding the walls aren't allowed to be high enough to block out the noise so you will hear everyone's conversations around you: front desk and rooms near you. I would recommend bringing a pair or wireless headphones for your sauna sessions and maybe any of the treatments there possible. It was nice that the associates gave me a cup of water and robe + towel. The infrared rooms could use additional hangers or an area to put your belongings as I ended up needing to throw things on the floor. There is only one bathroom in the back, so don't expect to shower here, you should change in your sauna room. Also they have nice products up front, water etc. I will be back again to give it another go as I thought overall it was good. Definitely would recommend, I was just surprised by the noise level. Very clean establishment. My concerns are during your time in the infrared spa you can't meditate and focus because there is nothing to block the sound. Overall the experience was not bad, sort of a get what you pay for experience for a $35 sauna session. It wasn't a bad experience, but the people working there could've been friendlier and provided more information on what to expect for a newcomer. It was nicely decorated and clean, they definitely were trying hard to make it a cute spot. First, I arrive 15min early in case I need to sign any consent forms, shower, change into a robe etc. This was my first time there and I wasn't sure if I would need extra time for them to go over any instructions. No instructions, they check me in and say I can use the bathroom in the back before my session. Didn't feel super welcomed, but whatever. It's finally time to go in the sauna box and the woman just opens the room. I find a hook and a little bench to put my clothes on before stepping into the sauna box. There's a towel spread on the bench and another rolled up. I've never been to a sauna like this before so I didn't know what to expect but I notice there is a control panel inside (would have been good to know what how to use it and what the options are). Once I'm in the sauna box I realize what the other reviews said, since the walls don't go to the ceilings you hear every single noise. I can hear the phone ringing, the front desk staff talking, someone opening boxes etc. I notice on the panel there's an aux button and I try to connect my phone via Bluetooth so I can play some relaxing music. I connect, it's nice and relaxing but the front desk staff were so loud talking to each other and greeting clients it kind of ruined the atmosphere. The temperature itself and both the blue/red light was nice and it smelled great. The temperature slowly got hotter, it was nice that it gradually got hotter over time rather than being at the max temp when you first step in. Also once you're done with the sauna there's no shower or anything so just had to put my clothes back on after being sweaty. read more

Salt + Sweat is amazing, relaxing and clean. I tried the S & S Quickie which is a 30 minute infrared sauna and add on Salt treatment, I loved the Sauna but didn't see the value in the salt add-on. I rated this a 4 because while they provide some body sprays and a quick cleanse foam I would have loved the option to take a shower so that I didn't have to run home after. Since my first visit I have purchased a package of 5 30 minute sessions in infrared sauna and plan to try some of the other services offered. read more

I went here this last weekend with my husband for the Infrared Body wrap because we have a 2 yr old and have been all sorts of sick for 6 months. I figured why not try something to reset. Worst Massage I have ever had. Alex barely greeted me when I got there , was extremely curt. I have a condition in my neck which Alex had never heard of ( which is fine) just explained that I just wanted to focus on shoulders and rest of my body. She proceeded to tell me that If I get osteoporosis that it could be really bad for my condition and kept talking about how scary that would be. So much for being able to relax and enjoy myself instead I laid there worrying about osteoperosis. She isnt a doctor she should keep her opinions to herself. Made an appointment for the "Ultimate Experience" which includes a massage. The day before my appointment someone called to confirm the appointment. I walked in the next day to have the receptionist tell me there was no masseuse there that day. She said someone should have called me the day before to tell me (which they did not). Weird that they called to confirm (they made sure to do that) but didn't bother to call to tell me they had to cancelled. Glad I woke up early on a Sunday to drive 40min to have to turn right around and go home. Not sure of their facilities or services (bc I never got to experience them) but the business is run by amateurs (which is probably reflected in the services). So I came here two weeks ago for my first time ever... I purchased a infrared sauna wrap ... let's just say not worth it. The staff and facility was clean and nice but didn't even sweat honestly felt like a waste of Money.. also purchased the flow facial with it for $20 extra and didn't even get a facial because it was unclear it's just a lotion you put on your own face.... put in on my skin not even knowing because instructions was so unclear. I took my sister with me as well and she didn't even sweat either in the wrap... honestly waste of money and unhappy with my service!! Love this place ! I recently went for a 60-min infrared wrap session and I've never been so relaxed. I left feeling so amazing and my belly seemed flatter the next day from detoxing myself and getting in such an intense sweat session. First off - i Completely fell asleep and woke up once the sweat really started to kick in which was amazing. The staff was super informative and sooo nice. the place is also SO clean and modern, I just loved everything about my experience.
