Massage is always good if you get the right person; hit or miss. The place is convenient in a nice neighborhood. Parking is sketchy sometimes, but the neighborhood is safe and clean; white plains. The manager can be rude, very harsh and unprofessional. Hard to schedule; not very flexible or accommodating to customer's needs. It's cheap with discounts or Groupon which is all they're worth; not worth paying full price. I only go when there's a promotion. Bring quarters for street parking; quarters only. The tickets game is strong. They don't play in that area. Beware!!!! read more

Island Foot Spa - Massage Bed. Clean and fresh for me. - Massage Near Me - White Plains, New York

Man at the front was extremely disrespectful, he seemed annoyed when being asked about prices. There was no air conditioning very hard to breathe during my hour long massage. The massage therapist kept sneezing and coughing under her mask during my massage so I couldn't even relax. Terrible experience. read more

Horrible I walked in. I undressed for a massage and and they had me waiting for 35 minutes, so I got dressed and walked out!!

Second time I've been here. Helen is so nice. I requested her in my return visit. One of the very best massages I've had since I been back from the Philippines. Very relaxing and I always catch myself snoring...lol. Also heard other folks snoring as well. You just zone out and they melt away and relieve all your stress and tension. And for those who made comments about the cleanse , LIES... The place is very clean. Each time I've called to make a reservation I had no issues. The GROUPON is great, but this last time I was willing to pay full price because their prices are very reasonable... read more

horrible disgusting experience ! demanded a top from me when i was unhappy about only having a man massage me and was super inappropriate . was harrassing me for a tip after ! FEMALES AVOID read more

Wow! Been here about 5 or 6 times now. Different masseuse each time - usually I feel like it's luck of the draw at massage places. Not here, every massage has been excellent. Reasonable pricing, always accommodating and able to get an appointment within an hour, clean and friendly service. They charge more if you're using a CC or debit. So bring cash. Tip at least 18% or you may get an uncomfortable side eye and prodding to increase. Just have seen it happen to others while I'm waiting and it's awkward. In my opinion the ladies deserve it - they've always done a great job. Don't expect a consultation or anything like that. Speak up if you have particular issues. But I've found that they mostly can find what ails you just through touch! Not a huge fan of the decor but my eyes are closed for most of the time anyway so who cares. read more

The staff was very nice, and the store was well kept and clean. However, my masseuse was very heavy handed. To the point where I hurt after the massage was over and I have bruises all over my body from where she was too rough. I've never had this happen to me before when having a massage. read more

I would give it a 5 star if it weren't for the front desk lady (the owner?) pressuring me to tip more for the masseuse! The masseuse were great but i don't appreciate them pressuring us to tip $15 or more when i already tipped them $10 a piece for a $50 groupon voucher! I did it this time because i'd like to return, but not in the future! Also if you don't want to sell it for that price then you shouldn't have it advertised! She told me if i buy future groupons then she has to charge me extra when i come in. read more

This facility is not clean and is certainly dealing with a bedbug infestation. Do not come here unless you want to contaminate your home! I received a massage a few weeks ago at Island Foot Spa. During the session, I felt a few bites on my legs but thought it was just a normal itch. Later that day, I looked and saw 5 bed bug bites up and down my leg and arms. I used to work in hospitality, so I know the signs of bed bugs when I see them. Sure enough, I found two bed bugs that had attached themselves to my pants. Fortunately I caught this issue before it was too late. A bed bug contamination in your home is extremely expensive and a massive pain to deal with. The massage was a 6/10, and the facility is loud and not relaxing. But the bed bugs are the real reason this place is getting a 1 star review instead of a 3 star. read more

Had a really great hot stone massage here today. I've been looking to find a replacement for my NYC neighborhood no frills massage spot and this is that. No frills, clean, masseuse did a great job. Decently priced and I plan to return. read more

Called to book an appointment and receptionist didn't speak any English so had to use a robot translator which was unintelligible. Attempted to make appointment for same day and person told me to come at 4pm and when asked the staff to use the Groupon, was told could not be honored. There is no fine print to state that and they should not have a relationship with Groupon if it will not be accepted. Was informed can only be used 24 hours prior to appointment and taken from 10am-2pm during the week. Extremely rude staff member and poorly run business read more

Don't let the mom and pop business look stop you from getting a massage. The service here was nothing short from wonderful! They did a fantastic job. I recommend getting a deep tissue. They did an amazing job and yes I will be visiting again. Definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a good deep tissue massage! read more

I read the reviews and noticed the snarky ones are at least two years old. I had a dismal experience at Sea Spa in Briarcliff and was looking for a new place so I bought a Groupon for here. I know how Groupon works; it "helps advertise" but also attracts cheapskate bargain hunters so I was very clear about the terms and asked "Jackie" for SPECIFICS. He said the $52 Groupon for a 90-minute session, normally $69, would only be accepted Monday through Wednesday 10:30 AM to noon so that's when I booked. I don't like being "handled" by women I am not involved with so I asked for a male therapist and Tony was SO INCREDIBLE I will go back once or twice a month at the regular $69 cash price. I understand Chinese business people are very big on tips; Tony was so good I tipped $15 on $52; he was THAT GOOD. The rooms are small and tight but it's not as if we are playing soccer in there! The place is clean and quiet, peaceful, NO BEDBUGS, and Jackie was very pleasant at the counter. Don't listen to most of the people griping here. read more

This place was initially a hit or miss until I had massages with Aida, Sandy, and Sophia who were the most memorable. They put work in and I left feeling refreshed. Pricing is very reasonable but theres a tax/credit card fee so bring cash! read more

We bought a Groupon and when we showed up for the appointment, they wouldn't honor it. They tried to extract more money and wouldn't give us the appointment. This place is dishonest. Do NOT go here! read more

Terrible place and customer service. Bought coupon for my mom on Groupon and call to schedule an appointment. Said "sure come today at 12.30. On arrival she told me that they not accepting coupons for today and there is no spot for me and I can reschedule for next week. So waisted time coming there to be lied they have no space for coupons, but she can take her for cash-for cash they have space. Terrible place. Owner have to take on look on who is his representatives of his business to customers. read more

They are so good with the pressure. I went in there with back pain and felt so good leaving! They focus on every inch of your body! I never wanted the massage to be over! I would def recommend everyone to come! read more

I had a wonderful experience here for my 60-min foot reflexology treatment. It was very clean, and everyone was courteous and wore masks and used hand sanitizer multiple times. The treatment itself was so relaxing - it starts with an arm, hand and shoulder massage, moves on to feet and legs, and ends with more shoulder massage. I was blissed out by the end. I will be coming back here for sure! read more

I received a voucher for 70 minute therapeutic back massage with essential oil and hot stone treatment. Had to postpone it I called up and rescheduled the appointment. When I got there for my appointment the person in charge said my voucher was not honored it was already used. Be careful don't get robbed. read more

Well, the lady who did the reflexology for me had pause at least five times to go to the front desk to check in or out customers. She was constantly looking at the front door. I definitely had better than this read more

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! Do not book them via Groupon either. They make it extremely hard for you to utilize the voucher. My husband scheduled a 12PM appointment for my mother and I as a Mother's Day gift and once we arrived a man at the front desk said we don't have an appointment DESPITE MY HUSBAND SCHEDULING THE APPOINTMENT IN FRONT OF ME. Another couple walked in after us for their appointment at 12PM ironically and he took them. The man told me to get a refund from Groupon and did not offer to reschedule. read more

Went here yesterday with a friend and my friend complained that the masseuse was not focused as she kept staring at the front door area to see who was coming in and out. Also did not apply my pressure points effectively. He felt like he came in and walked out feeling like he did not have a massage. read more

Very disappointed with Island foot spa. We bought three Groupon's for this place while on vacation, hoping to get some great massages. We showed up for our appointment time at exactly 2pm, and when we got there, Jessica at the front said she could only take us for our appointments if we paid full price (although we had already paid for the Groupons). She refused to provide us service and when we asked why they bother to even sell the Groupon's if they refuse to honor it, she continually stated that she would only take us if we paid full price at front reception. Extremely sad, disappointed, and annoyed at our complete waste of time and money. Do not go here. read more

I ordered an Groupon online and when I got there I was told that they were booked. I had to wait 2 hours just to get an another appointment then an Asian man walked right in as I was sitting waiting also the receptionist booked an appointment immediately as someone called for an appointment the same day. I drove 45 mins out of my way completely disgusted never visit this place read more

I had a very good overall experience at Island Foot Spa. I purchased a Groupon for a 70-minute therapeutic back massage with hot stones and essential oils. I called to make an appointment, and they were able to fit me in on the day I called (I asked, but wasn't expecting it to be possible). Everything went smoothly with the check-in and redeeming my Groupon. When checking in, I was asked and decided to pay the $10 extra for "deep tissue" massage. I was shown to a small private area. Everything was clean, and I felt safe in terms of COVID precautions. All of the staff members wore masks, and I kept my on the whole time. When I called to make the appointment, I had said that I was more comfortable having a woman do the massage. It seemed fine at the time, so when a man walked in ready to do the massage. When I asked about it, I was told that a "female" wouldn't be there for at least 20 minutes, and I decided not to wait and see. If you want to be sure, I think you have to ask for a "female," to be absolutely clear. Tony did a terrific job with the massage. It was definitely a deep muscle massage, and not just a relaxing rub. He was very thorough, and despite wanting a woman initially, I felt totally comfortable. I felt that he worked most on the areas that needed it most, and still did a full massage (not just back). I'm a bit sure the day after, but I think it's just from my muscles really being worked. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is that, unlike other massage experiences I've had, there was no communication requested beforehand (or during) about any health issues or areas of concern for the masseuse to watch out for. I got the impression that only certain people spoke/understood English. He did ask once during the massage if something was Ok, and I said yes, but that was it. I would hope a good masseuse would just be able to feel what was going on in terms of muscle tightness, etc., but I would have felt more comfortable if they had asked to be sure to be careful of injury spots, etc. It is not a fancy spa, but if you're looking for a clean place and a great massage without breaking the bank, I would recommend going there. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised by this place! I'm from out of town so I was trying somewhere new and everyone was so nice. The massage itself was lovely and thorough. I ended up falling asleep during the reflexology which was so peaceful. Especially for a groupon, I highly recommend this spa! read more

I wish I could give zero stars this was the most uncomfortable creepy experience ever.Right off the bat I got very bad vibes and energy. I felt very unsafe, the main massage guy was unprofessional. The receptionist walked me and my friend into our room and it was so dark I could barley see where I was walking. She was also very unprofessional she said to "get naked" and put a towel over our backs. My friend asked who would be doing it and she said the guy. We said we felt uncomfortable and asked if someone else could do it and she said no he's the only one who does it. Our fight or flight kicked in and we left. Please no one go to this place! It was not right, I felt like I was going to get assaulted. read more

The beginning of the foot message they start with a nice head and face massage. The foot message was good and overall it was a great experience. Nice tranquil place. I did not even want to give this place one star. This place felt sketchy right when my friend and I walked in. Very uncomfortable, very unprofessional. Something is not right. I asked who would be doing the massages, the woman at the front desk said "the guy". I explained to her that being a teenager I felt uncomfortable with a grown man performing my massage, she proceeded to say "I wish you told me that over the phone." Which how would I know? Moral of the story please do not go here. Very weird vibes. read more
