She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire facial, checking in often and making sure the pressure was just right, especially during the extractions. She was incredibly thorough without ever making the experience uncomfortable, which I really appreciated. The spa itself is so welcoming, with a cozy waiting area where you can enjoy a cup of hot tea or cold water before your appointment. It really sets the tone for a calming visit. They took my credit card prior which was fine but puts me in a bad position later on. So I lay on the table and the facialist starts going over what I need done and tried to upsell me to a TRIPLE CHEMICAL PEEL. I have never had a chemical peel before and tbh I didn't think my skin was so terrible. When I express my hesitation and mention the service I booked for she told me she understood if I couldn't afford it but that the service I was getting wouldn't really do anything for me. I've had many facials in my life I can't imagine a deep cleansing facial with extra paid time wouldn't do anything. There's a non refundable deposit which I didn't want to lose so I forged ahead anyway and she was right. She didn't do much but steam and so a basic cleansing on my face with a few pore extractions. I was hoping to get laser facial hair removal here which i definitely did not do because of this horrendous experience. Not to mention the deep cleansing facial was over 150 dollars so it's not like i was skimping in the first place. It was totally uncomfortable and I wish i had spoken up in the moment but I felt like I'd lose money anyway and I'd already driven half an hour to get there. I'd give it no stars if I could.
