A float therapy pod with an open lid is positioned in a room with white walls and ceiling lights. The pod contains water and is part of a float spa facility. The room has a dark marble-like floor, and a small mat is placed in front of the pod. A sign on the door reads 'FLOAT ORB.'

It was definitely a great experience of relaxation. Also just being alone with your thoughts and not knowing if you were fall asleep or up lol.

I am so relaxed and so refreshed after my floats here. It's completely quiet and transforming. Like you are floating in space. Complete sensory deprivation. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. My first time here I ended up buying more packages and have been going once a weak. I feel my aches and pains drift away. Now that I've moved I always book a session when I am back in town. I love it here. It's reasonably priced, clean and worth it.

This was so intriguing to me. From when I first heard about the float from a friend to hearing about it on the "JRE" podcast which really sold me. Living in the city I much say the drive there was beautiful site and the location was perfect with parking. We walked in greeted by a warm smile and vibrant energy from the host "Maxine". Also got to sit down with a nice couple who just finished a session who told us about there experience which was there first as well. The environment is comfortable with herbal tea's, crystals and a diverse selection of literature to help ease and open the mind. I'm recommending this for anyone looking to experience something possibly outer body or even as simple piece of mind. It's definitely a place to experience with a family member or date a date with your partner. Can't wait to go again.

I had the best afternoon at the salt float Center in Montclair! My fiancé and I were in the two float suites. The atmosphere was soothing and pristine, just as you would expect from a high quality spa. Max gave us a warm welcome and guided us into the experience. The facilities were sparkling and well appointed, including very generous private showers and bath products. The float experience itself was magical. I love that the salt has anti-inflammatory benefits as well and so many other healthy benefits for the mind and body and creative spirit too. Our skin feels refreshed and renewed after this float. Afterword, they do have what you need to dry off and moisturize as needed. I happily recommend this experience and hope to try this again in the near future, always fun to try something new out!

The tank is positioned against a plain wall in a clean environment, likely part of a float spa facility. The image emphasizes the design and setup of the float therapy equipment.

In addition to speeding up my healing, cryotherapy has helped me sleep better, enhanced my emotional health, and has given me a great endorphin boost every time I complete a session. Eclipse Cryo and Float is a one stop body rejuvenation spa. Not only do I love to go into the cryo machine for 3 minutes at a time, I have also used the infrared sauna, NormaTec therapy , cryo facial and cryo spot treatments. The 45 minute sauna sessions rid your body of toxins, and you feel great afterwards too. NormaTec gently massages sore muscles while restoring function to the lymphatic system and restores balance to the body.. The cryo facial leaves your face dewy and youthful, while cryo spot treatments help by directly using the cold therapy on a specific area. Hanan and her staff are very knowledgeable as well as fun to be around, and oftentimes many clients just hang out after their scheduled sessions to chat. I look forward to my visits, and have made new friends at Eclipse Cryo. Hanan always welcomes me with open arms, and has gone above and beyond in her customer service. Whether for help in healing injuries or adding to your wellness regime, Eclipse Cryo and Float is the place for go. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Both ladies were great. Very informative and helpful. I love the aromatherapy and the complimentary tea and water. The tea was delicious! I love that everything looked so clean. We felt safe! Everyone was masked. The floatation therapy was incredible! Each pod was clean and the showers were unique! Love the whole experience!! The infrared sauna was great too! 149 degrees. We detoxed. The large sauna was perfect for us. The lights were also a cool feature. The "full body" cryo was okay. Negative 249 degrees F. The nitrogen didn't reach quite as high as the full body one I did in NYC. So I probably wouldn't come here for full body cryotherapy again. Felt great from the waist down but didn't get much higher. My boyfriend loved the nuratec on his legs. They have legs, hips, or arms. He said it felt great. It's similar to the machines at the pharmacy that take your blood pressure but for your whole leg he told me lol. I would try it! We were told it's like a massage using air. It's pretty cool! We will definitely be returning here for some more treatments. :)

Couldn't do the float since my skin was way too sensitive and the system was literally burning my skin. Did the massage that was great. Even tipped $50 Figured I'd come back later another day. So I ordered another service. This time I paid for its Fast forward one week, I emailed to cancel. I will be leaving the area and can no longer keep my appointment that I made for two months from the purchase date. They refuse to issue a refund and want to keep it as credits. This is not how you do business or treat customers. Also their "lounge" is non existent. Just a bunch of empty computer boxes. There was no where to sit. Not worth the price they charge for any of their services.

Upstairs there are extra services such as massages, facials, scrubs, reflexology, etc. for an additional fee per service. They also have a dining area where you can purchase lunch/dinner as well. Upon arrival/check in you will pay for your day pass/services and then you are given a numbered key. The key will open a numbered locker to your left where you store your shoes only. Then, you walk barefoot or with socks on to the men's/women's changing rooms. Once in the changing room, you will look for your numbered locker which the same key fits, to store your street clothes, so that you can put on the uniform. The change room is massive and has bathrooms, showers, and the entrance to the pool. ***You are not allowed to wear clothing in the pool, not even a bathing suit, just FYI. However, if you're daring enough to enjoy the pool in the buff, the men's and women's pools are separate and walled off. So it's not coed at all, if that's a concern. I consider myself pretty cultured, but this is one thing that I was surprised about the 1st time I visited and not comfortable with, so I have never partaken in the pool. Other than that, the various degrees of saunas are great, the massages, and the food in the dining area. I enjoy what I partake in, and find it to be a good value overall.

I've only tried the float therapy here so far. The float rooms are located in the bottom floor down this very steep staircase, but inside it is nearly completely soundproof (or as soundproof as one can get in the middle of Midtown...). The experience is very relaxing, as you get a huge private room to shower and then float in. The tubs are also really big so you don't feel claustrophobic. I appreciate the amenities as well, like lotion and little packets of Vaseline to cover up cuts. You get plenty of time to shower before and after your appointment so you do not feel rushed at all. Staff is very knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. They do not try to upsell you on stuff and kind of just leave you to do your own thing, which I really appreciate.

The guy at the front desk was very welcoming, he greeted us as soon as we walked in. He told us it would just be a few minutes while he got the rooms ready for us. He was very thorough in explaining the process and offered us waters and showed us where we could get some should we need more during our time there. The place was also very clean. They provide robes, towels, slippers, pretty much everything you need. I did the two part experience, starting with the sauna and finishing with the float. I started with the sauna where which was 45 mins then moved to the float which was 1 hour. The only issue I had here was that the sauna room was too small. I was unable to fully lay/stretch out on the bench, which would've made for a much more relaxing experience. Instead, I had to sit the 45 mins with my knee bent and the bench was hard on my butt despite them having a towel down. The float was by far my favorite part of the experience. It's right across from the sauna room. The guy again comes to take you there and explain the process in detail. There's a shower for you to use before you get in the float and to get your body ready and acclimated to the temperature in the float. There's float has light and relaxing music, both of which you have control of if you want it or not. I turned the light off initially but it was way too dark for me lol I felt trapped so I opted for lights on. The process was so very relaxing that I even fell asleep for a while. I was woken up by the audio telling me the float has ended and thanks for floating. It also tells you that it will begin the cleansing process soon so you should exit the float. As I was showering and getting ready to leave, I saw it going through the cleansing process which was good to see. Definitely recommend this float if you are stressed or just need a mental break. It was good to just be in there with you and your thoughts to reflect and detach and then eventually, truly relax!

I was initially worried because of a past claustrophobia event during an MRI (I'm not usually claustrophobic but I freaked out during my scan and had to be calmed down). Hubby and I had time off together and decided to take the trip to LI for my session. He booked one for himself as well. When we arrived, Raymond checked us in. He explained what we should do in preparation for the session and provided us wutg wax ear plugs. Each room is single occupancy with its own shower (with soap and shampoo), towels, slippers, and bacitracin (if you have any scratches on your skin). It would be best to not book right after shaving or if you gave open wounds, because you'll be floating in a high concentration of Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate), which could be irritating to cuts and abrasions. They provide the bacitracin for you to put onto any scrape you may have, which alleviates the sting. Once in the room, you disrobe and shower. You must be clean before entering the tank. The tank is like a clam shell, you climb in and use the "pillow" under your head to keep your head afloat. You're completely naked in the tank and you just float. Napping has exponential benefits while in the tank. Once you set your session, the tank does all the work. You can listen to music, adjust the sound, or just stay in the quiet room. I fell asleep a few times. Because of the high concentration of MgSO4, you're floating and have pretty decent buoyancy. I have locs, so I brought my own swim cap - I would suggest bringing one of you don't want the liquid saturating your hair. Raymond examined how to put on the cap, with the hair on the very top of your head, and the side of the cap covering your ears. I would say, however, not to cover your ears because it creates a spacc for the liquid to seep into and for that reason, I was a bit unhappy with what happened after my session. Once the float is done, the tank let's you know. You exit the tank, hop in the shower, and clean yourself. Once you leave the tank, it begins it's self-cleaning process. The water is swirling around and around and I'm guessing they use UV to help clean it. I did not realize that there was soooo much salt in the tank. I thought I did a good job cleaning myself off in the shower, but because the water got into my swim cap some, once it dried, everything that still had remnants of the water, dried white. Once we headed out, Raymond had water waiting for us. That was refreshing. You should not have a heavy meal or drink a lot of fluids ahead of your visit. I was wearing a black dress and the drips from my hair would dry on my dress and then turn white. You really have to rinse yiursf off very well. It would be best to schedule this kind of experience on a day when you have nothing else to do. I will say that for the actual experience, it was very relaxing and felt amazing but the aftercare was a lot, especially with the salt drying. I would do this again, but definitely will not be going anywhere else afterwards.
