There was adequate parking available specifically for a few local businesses including Rise Above. Upon entering the building, I noticed how beautiful the decor was. We were greeted immediately and the guy working was very calm and easy going. He walked us through start to finish and allowed us to see which room we wanted because there was no one else scheduled for our time slot (3 rooms total). The choices were a pod that closes and opens automatically, a large open room (no walls surrounding the "bathtub" except for the room that you're in, and the extra large "bathtub" that is enclosed with walls and doors. Each room has a shower with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, ear plugs, Vaseline (for cuts before getting in), face wipes, towels, and a spray bottle with water in case you get salt in your eyes. He gave us 5 minutes before our start time to shower off any oils before getting in and 5 minutes after to shower off the salt (and told us to take our time when getting out, no need to rush). There was music in the beginning and at the end to get you started/let you know when your time is up and the lights turn on/off automatically. There is a help button in case you run into any issues. The tank itself is really neat and I was able to shut my mind off pretty quickly. The room is pitch black and there are no lights. You are completely deprived of reality and you are there floating in just the water and in silence. It's an insane experience floating in water and being so relaxed that I may have forgotten that I had legs and that I wasn't floating through space or a river. Your mind really does change during this experience. I am in complete relaxation mode even hours after experiencing the deprivation tank. I can't wait to go again and maybe even add a massage to the package next time!

He had planned an evening of theatre, but I absolutely enjoy a chill evening+homemade brunch and wellness activities. He's been to AIRE prior, and I've had many massages locally in LA prior and always opt for the hot stone massage, this time couples massage which is what we did. It was cozy, relaxing, decompressing, and aromatic! Esp, on a snowy, 16 degrees outside wintery kinda Xmas holiday season. What a delight! We began our evening walking from the West Village, then upon entering Aire being greeted with warm tea my absolute fav drink besides an iced matcha. We were given wristbands and headed to our keyless entry lockers to robe up and descend into the jacuzzi, sauna, and cold plunge pools. It Feels like entering a gorgeous gothic cave. Strung abt are hundreds of real candles+exposed brick walls. Something we don't have in earthquake prone LA. Truly a romantic, and relaxing ambiance. After the messages, we grabbed our green juices and headed up to shower and dry the hairs on our heads with all the best products and Dyson hair equipment. Not lost on me. Thanks for a wonderful HBD evening, into night. What a beautiful, relaxing, healthy experience. It's the best, truly! Merry Christmas guys.

He booked a 90 minute massage at 8am, so I had until 11 to enjoy the baths before/after my massage. Once you enter, you're guided to a locker where you can change into your bathing suit and then go to the baths for a tour if it's your first time. There are a few different pools, each with their own temperature and/or benefits. Don't miss the bath upstairs with a beautiful skylight! My massage was an ok experience - pressure fluctuated throughout, so it was hard to pinpoint when to tell her to go harder or softer. Even though there were a lot of people, it didn't seem too crowded in each pool at any point. The ambience is very dark, calming, and relaxing. Not sure I would buy a pass just for the pools because there's only so much time I can spend in each. But it's a great treat

I was 15 minutes early, but the door was locked. I sent my husband here once before for a single float and he recalled a similar experience where he called and was invited inside. However, I called and left a message; my husband left another vm at our appointment time. I finally replied to their text reminder shortly after 1pm since it seemed they were closed. It is now Nov 6 and no one has returned our calls or my text yet. The sign at the place said "Under New Management" but it seems it's not being managed at all.

I made a reservation and was mad excited, telling my family and everything lol. Saturday comes (sorry for the late review) and we are driving to the place. I had 94 Main Street in my head because I swore thats the address I remember seeing. My boyfriend says no it's 93 Green Street and sure nuff it was. Just a bit of advice, just follow the confirmation email that they send you because they will tell you the directions. Also do not put Float into Wellness into your GPS because it will send you to the old address and not the new one. Anywho we get there, and when you get there (to 93 Green Street) they won't have a sign that says their business name. It's where BBB is which is a gym in the basement. That's right I said it. A basement. When you drive to the back you will see the door and it will say Float into Wellness. Walk downstairs and on first impressions I was like oh! There's gym equipment and a rooms for stretching. I was a bit confused until I saw Nyomi come out. She greeted us with a smile and took us to this room where we were to put our belongings. She said this is where we will keep our things.now the room guys is the same room where they have the shower and the sauna, which was a little odd to me. Why would I want people coming to put their belongings down in the same room where people are showering and sitting in a sauna. My guess was that this place DOES NOT ACCOMMODATE MORE THAN TWO PEOPLE AT A TIME. It's just wouldn't be good and it's definitely not set up like a real spa. Ok so me and my boyfriend purchased the couples package for $225 () which was for all three, the salt cave, floating and the sauna. The salt cave was 45 mins, the floating for 60 mins and the sauna was 30 mins. The package was for 3 hours in total. I figured ok that sounds like a good deal so that's why we purchased it. The salt cave was first. It was such a calming room and I kept breathing in and out to help get the benefits of the salt. They do provide blankets for you just in case you do nap. I liked the salt cave because it was relaxing and just therapeutic. The ambiance was nice and I would love to go to another salt cave. Next up was the floatation therapy. Before we got in we had to shower with our bathing suits on. Nyomi said some people come in with their undergarments and I'm like ewww. They do provide you with a wash rag and a towel. Make sure for ladies that you bring a swim cap because the water has epsom salt in it (and I will get to that later). We then went inside the floatation tank. Now I'm not sure how therapeutic it was supposed to be but it wasn't therapeutic at all for me. It smelled like a basement and that was one thing that bothered me. I'm just floating in a shallow tank of water and epsom salt and then it smells like a basement. My boyfriend is a big guy so he's just sitting, not floating and it really wasn't his cup of tea. After being there for quite some time, I was just aggravated and cold so I decided to end my session early and hope out. My hair was full of water and epsom salt and I knew I was in for a wash. I also had braids so I knew the epsom salt would be all in my braids we got out and proceeded to the sauna. By that time, I was done. I didn't feel relaxed at all and I sat in the sauna because we technically paid for it so I wanted to just sit. After that I showered and put my clothes back on and met Nyomi outside. Now she was sooooooooo for the business. She told me that her company (whatever company that is) bought FIW because they were about to close (after my experience I could see why ) and she thought it's something the community needed. I'm not saying it's not a bad idea. I just thought that if someone bought the business, maybe try to do something different and not make the business get shut down again. Ijs. So I met her outside, told her thanks for everything and went to go lotion up. Nyomi was definitely really sweet and offered great customer service. Unfortunately the experience left much to be desired. Once we got outside to my car we put some lotion on. After soaking in epsom salt for nearly 60 mins, we were extremely dry. But the part that got me REAL AGGRAVATED was the fact that my hair got wet but because it had epsom salt in it, it just kept dripping down my neck and I had epsom salt all on my neck, hair and face. I have never left a spa like that just a mess, aggravated and unrelaxed.

After a particularly rough few months both mentally and physically, my wife purchased me a total…read morerelaxation package from Groupon for this location, which included a 20 minute infrared sauna, a 60 minute float, and 30 minutes in a zero gravity massage chair. I have floated before and enjoy the experience, so fair or not, I found myself comparing my visit to East Coast Float Spa to my regular float location. Here's my thoughts on the experience. The infrared sauna was just not my thing. The actual room was lovely, but the sauna area was a bit small for me. I don't sauna often, but when I do I like to lay down. The booth was too short to even accommodate my 6'3" frame in a reclining position using the back support against one of the walls. I also whacked my head pretty good when I stood up when my time was up. This was no one's fault but my own, but just another note about the size of the actual sauna booth. The float tub and shower/changing room was perfectly functional and comfortable, and I had a very nice float. Far superior to any float capsule or "tube", this room was long and spacious enough for me to stretch my arms over my head or spread them out to both sides with a few inches to spare in each direction. While this was a very nice float tub, it was very clinical and sterile feeling. This is where my unavoidable comparisons started really piling up. The float tubs at Float NJ in Marlton are just...nicer. There is little to no difference functionally, but there is much more thought behind the aesthetics at Float NJ, and if I'm going somewhere for a total relaxation experience, those things make a difference to me. Finally, after showering off again, I headed to the pot-float room for my zero gravity massage chair time. Good God was that thing amazing! Definitely the highlight of the experience and the perfect way to wrap up my time at East Coast Float Spa. Just a word or warning: if you are claustrophobic, this may not be for you. The chair tilts back and really envelops your arms, legs and even head. It felt pretty amazing for me, but I could see some people have serious, "Nope" moments. So, I very much enjoyed my time at East Coast Float Spa, but I didn't enjoy the main event as much as I do at Float NJ. The staff were all very nice and attentitve and the facility was very clean and well maintained, but given their similar price points, even with East Coast being much closer to me, I don't think I would come here to float again. Those massage chairs on the other hand, I'd pop in there any time for those!

I've had one float spa experience here, but several zero gravity chair massages. I love the zero…read moregravity chair so much, that I keep going back for more and even purchased my husband a multi-pack gift of chair massages. It's actually helping him with some back problems. East Coast Float staff and facilities deliver a great experience. East Coast is immaculate to the point of being very sterile and sanitary like a hospital, which is a good thing considering you're floating around naked in salt water. Floats for new clients are $65, $75, $85 for a 60 minute, 90 minute, and 2-hour float, respectively. The Zero Gravity chairs are $15 and $20 for 20 minutes and 30 minutes, respectively. Appointments are required for all services. We went for a 90 minute float. In my mind, I thought to myself, "90 minutes, I've gotta be crazy." I did struggle to relax for about the first 15 minutes and wondered how I was going to get through this, but I closed my eyes and before I knew it the float was over and I came out quite relaxed and refreshed. Each float is a private room, with a shower and amenities including shampoo, body wash, etc. You can chose whether you want your float experience in the dark or with light as well as with or without music. I went with lights and music; my husband went with dark and no music (he had done this before). To me darkness and no sound for 90 minutes was a bit daunting. After the float, there is a vanity room to dry your hair, put on makeup etc. There are some great free product to be used including body lotion and special spray for your hair.
