Came back to try both the infrared sauna and salt cave. I did the sauna first to get a good sweat in and detox before relaxing in the salt cave. Doing both really enhanced the experience. I booked more credits to come back and detox/relax. The staff is always helpful and take great care in their clients comfort levels. Can't wait to come back.

Had done a float once before (about 5 years ago in Guelph,Ontario ) and had been interested on finding another spot. Doesn't get any better than a place called Floatopia... situated at the end of a business plaza, ample parking. Upon entry- you are instantly transported to Utopia- pleasant scents fill the air, crystals and other bath/spa products for sale. Pleasant staff (Kelly) at the front desk. Kombucha for days; in cans or on tap. You are then asked to remove your shoes past the threshold and given a pair of slippers to roam about. Lockers and coat hooks available. Float pods, sauna, cold plunge, massages and salt cave- wow! hot herbal tea varieties await or filtered water available. From their website, shows yoga available here as well and massage packages with no up charges on variations; Swedish, deep tissue... highly recommend- clean, warm, welcoming and priced accordingly. Groupons available too!

Here we go, So for quit some time now I have been noticing this place advertised on Groupon. I was skeptical but yet curious too. So I decided to go because after all ,everything I have gone through with the cancer diagnosis and surgeries, etc I needed a resting place. It was more than I can ever imagine. When you walk in the place it take your stress away immediately. The vibe, energy, smell was phenomenal. So I started off drinking some chamomile tea which automatically relaxes you. Then we go into the salt cave room. I thought with all the stress I was going through the room would melt lol.. The room is filled with Himalayan salt . Has chairs sitting in a circle. Instantly I fell asleep within 5 minutes. I also had something on my ears to help as well. Binaural beats. 45 minutes later I was so relaxed I felt like a different person. Came out of the room so relieved not one pain in my body. No thoughts just being in the moment. It was a great experience. And the representative there he was so helpful. I totally forgot his name. If you need somewhere to relax go to this place it's so worth the money. I'm going back again this week. This time I'm trying other services provided.

What an experience! James...you are an absolute God send! As a first timer, I was walked through each amenity...starting with the infrared sauna (that's me in the mirror...forgot to take a pic of the sauna ), followed up with a floatation chamber (Himalayan sea salt...and you submerge and float in bliss...in the dark or with a dim colored light...you feel like you're on a cloud or floating through space and time), and I finished in the salt cave...gravity chairs, blankets, the lull of music, the sky lit ceiling...OMG! And let's not forget the lounge with many assorted teas and comfy couches and chairs! Rejuvenated and refreshed! I highly recommend checking floatopia out...an experience of total relaxation

From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome and attended to. Greeted with a smile and a nice explanation about the salt cave and float sessions. I did the salt cave and float on 2 separate occasions. They are both very soothing for the soul. Everything is very clean.

Brought my daughter here with her friends for her 12th Birthday and Absolutely LOVED IT!!! Most definitely will be returning!!!

It looks a little claustrophobic. Is it an open space or is it all closed up?

The room I went in was a room, not a pod. It's not a huge room but it's like a mini swimming pool.

The guy at the front desk was very welcoming, he greeted us as soon as we walked in. He told us it would just be a few minutes while he got the rooms ready for us. He was very thorough in explaining the process and offered us waters and showed us where we could get some should we need more during our time there. The place was also very clean. They provide robes, towels, slippers, pretty much everything you need. I did the two part experience, starting with the sauna and finishing with the float. I started with the sauna where which was 45 mins then moved to the float which was 1 hour. The only issue I had here was that the sauna room was too small. I was unable to fully lay/stretch out on the bench, which would've made for a much more relaxing experience. Instead, I had to sit the 45 mins with my knee bent and the bench was hard on my butt despite them having a towel down. The float was by far my favorite part of the experience. It's right across from the sauna room. The guy again comes to take you there and explain the process in detail. There's a shower for you to use before you get in the float and to get your body ready and acclimated to the temperature in the float. There's float has light and relaxing music, both of which you have control of if you want it or not. I turned the light off initially but it was way too dark for me lol I felt trapped so I opted for lights on. The process was so very relaxing that I even fell asleep for a while. I was woken up by the audio telling me the float has ended and thanks for floating. It also tells you that it will begin the cleansing process soon so you should exit the float. As I was showering and getting ready to leave, I saw it going through the cleansing process which was good to see. Definitely recommend this float if you are stressed or just need a mental break. It was good to just be in there with you and your thoughts to reflect and detach and then eventually, truly relax!

This was a nice experience. Hubby gifted me a visit to Reset Float for an hour in their sensory…read moredeprivation tank. He purchased the experience from Groupon. I was initially worried because of a past claustrophobia event during an MRI (I'm not usually claustrophobic but I freaked out during my scan and had to be calmed down). Hubby and I had time off together and decided to take the trip to LI for my session. He booked one for himself as well. When we arrived, Raymond checked us in. He explained what we should do in preparation for the session and provided us wutg wax ear plugs. Each room is single occupancy with its own shower (with soap and shampoo), towels, slippers, and bacitracin (if you have any scratches on your skin). It would be best to not book right after shaving or if you gave open wounds, because you'll be floating in a high concentration of Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate), which could be irritating to cuts and abrasions. They provide the bacitracin for you to put onto any scrape you may have, which alleviates the sting. Once in the room, you disrobe and shower. You must be clean before entering the tank. The tank is like a clam shell, you climb in and use the "pillow" under your head to keep your head afloat. You're completely naked in the tank and you just float. Napping has exponential benefits while in the tank. Once you set your session, the tank does all the work. You can listen to music, adjust the sound, or just stay in the quiet room. I fell asleep a few times. Because of the high concentration of MgSO4, you're floating and have pretty decent buoyancy. I have locs, so I brought my own swim cap - I would suggest bringing one of you don't want the liquid saturating your hair. Raymond examined how to put on the cap, with the hair on the very top of your head, and the side of the cap covering your ears. I would say, however, not to cover your ears because it creates a spacc for the liquid to seep into and for that reason, I was a bit unhappy with what happened after my session. Once the float is done, the tank let's you know. You exit the tank, hop in the shower, and clean yourself. Once you leave the tank, it begins it's self-cleaning process. The water is swirling around and around and I'm guessing they use UV to help clean it. I did not realize that there was soooo much salt in the tank. I thought I did a good job cleaning myself off in the shower, but because the water got into my swim cap some, once it dried, everything that still had remnants of the water, dried white. Once we headed out, Raymond had water waiting for us. That was refreshing. You should not have a heavy meal or drink a lot of fluids ahead of your visit. I was wearing a black dress and the drips from my hair would dry on my dress and then turn white. You really have to rinse yiursf off very well. It would be best to schedule this kind of experience on a day when you have nothing else to do. I will say that for the actual experience, it was very relaxing and felt amazing but the aftercare was a lot, especially with the salt drying. I would do this again, but definitely will not be going anywhere else afterwards.

There was adequate parking available specifically for a few local businesses including Rise Above. Upon entering the building, I noticed how beautiful the decor was. We were greeted immediately and the guy working was very calm and easy going. He walked us through start to finish and allowed us to see which room we wanted because there was no one else scheduled for our time slot (3 rooms total). The choices were a pod that closes and opens automatically, a large open room (no walls surrounding the "bathtub" except for the room that you're in, and the extra large "bathtub" that is enclosed with walls and doors. Each room has a shower with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, ear plugs, Vaseline (for cuts before getting in), face wipes, towels, and a spray bottle with water in case you get salt in your eyes. He gave us 5 minutes before our start time to shower off any oils before getting in and 5 minutes after to shower off the salt (and told us to take our time when getting out, no need to rush). There was music in the beginning and at the end to get you started/let you know when your time is up and the lights turn on/off automatically. There is a help button in case you run into any issues. The tank itself is really neat and I was able to shut my mind off pretty quickly. The room is pitch black and there are no lights. You are completely deprived of reality and you are there floating in just the water and in silence. It's an insane experience floating in water and being so relaxed that I may have forgotten that I had legs and that I wasn't floating through space or a river. Your mind really does change during this experience. I am in complete relaxation mode even hours after experiencing the deprivation tank. I can't wait to go again and maybe even add a massage to the package next time!

Almost felt like I was talking to a robot cult leader. Back to the room, I did like how it was stocked with decent thoughtful products but not sure how much I cared to use a communal face oil.
