We were so disappointed with the food and service. We decided to give it a try due to some reviews and expected it to be different than what it was. Two of us ordered stuffed red snapper for about $30. It was very bland the red snapper had absolutely no taste the stuffing had a tiny taste of seasons. One of us got some mac and cheese which came in a big bowl but again no taste she added hot sauce to increase the taste. I drink frozen or on the rocks margaritas and this is tge first time I didn't finish it. We got on the rocks but once again tasteless. Didn't taste no alcohol and the mixer juice was bland. Bewtween 3 and 5 pm they run some specials at pretty good prices. My double patty burger with cheese was $8, a single is $6. I got 5 hot wings for $6. They also have BBQ and buffalo. I received 3 drums and two flats and they were good. My friends got a single burger and the other got oysters 6 for $6. All were good. One of our favorite restaurants in Clearwater Beach. They have great happy hour specials and have several of their popular dishes at a discounted rate for Happy hour. I'm not a huge fish or seafood person but I have been craving more of this since the minute I left. The server/bartender was great in letting us know our options. We asked for things to make tacos and were provided tortillas, cilantro, lettuce, avocado, mango salsa, cheese and the most fantastic green sauce, which was to die for. Right in the heart of Clearwater. We stopped here for lunch on our way to a beach. The coconut shrimp was tasty and also for the fried jumbo shrimp. Meaty and tender. Rice was good too as a side. My husband got the grouper cakes and enjoyed those. Had a nice table outside where we could see fishermen selling and cleaning fish for patrons. It is located on the marina at Clearwater beach which makes the parking challenging. The hostess at the restaurant was very pleasant. I sat outside on the ground level. On our recent trip to Clearwater we went to Salt Cracker Fish Camp twice. Both visits the service sucked but the food was pretty tasty. From 3-5pm they do a food happy hour. $5 appetizers. The first visit we ordered the smoked fish dip, jalapeño corn hush puppies and a burger with a side of fries. Our food was in the window and our waitress just sat at the bar played on her phone. She was on her phone every time we looked for her. The hamburger came out with cheese on it. Nothing else, plain. I told the waitress that we ordered a hamburger and she got very rude with us and said well it comes with cheese! I told her my son has a dairy allergy and can't have cheese. Her response was you should have told me! Well I ordered a hamburger not a cheeseburger. So the kitchen made us a new hamburger and they put this spicy white sauce on it. It was not on the first burger and they knew it was for my four year old son. My husband tried to scrap it off but that didn't work. My son would not eat it. The hush puppies were so good! One of the best things we ate all week in Clearwater. The smoked fish dip was okay a bit under seasoned. Our second visit we had a different server. He wasn't much better. We ordered the hush puppies again, the cracker cracker shrimp and a kids chicken meal. The hush puppies were over cooked. My sons chicken breast was over cooked and the shrimp was awesome! By the time our server came back it was after 5:00pm so we couldn't order another order of the shrimp at the discounted price. The cracker cracker shrimp is called bang bang shrimp at a lot of other restaurants. We were really hoping our second visit was going to be better but it wasn't. We waited 32 minutes for our food, ten of which we watched two of our meals sit under heat lamps. I have no interest in eating a meal when it has been 32 minutes, my food has been out for 10 minutes, and the bathrooms are nasty (no details provided because I'm a kind individual). The Daisy Mae mixed drink was tasty at ($9), and no problems with the sprite or water, but not recommended based on this experience. Clearwater Beach isn't recommended in general if you don't like touristy areas. It's similar to Myrtle Beach and Gatlinburg in that sense. Only went to see dolphins, which was successful. read more

We had the. roasted corn on the cob, a Southern wedge salad, and a burger. Everything was top notch, fresh and flavorful. We both ordered the Sobremesa cocktail: Tito's vodka, grapefruit juice, a touch of pomegranate liqueur and fresh lime, and we both loved it, which we proved by ordering a second round.
