These guys are great! I have been here several times with different vehicles making modifications,…read moretypically stereos and remote car starters, and every single time they are amazing! The service and explanation of what they have in stock based on what I'm looking to buy is always comprehensive and thorough. They are always very professional and everything always looks slick! I recently had an issue with the new stereo I purchased and they replaced it under warrantee. Kudos to the IU staff!

Then got on highway and truck started shaking at 55 then 65 the seat head rest just shaking so cal oh bring back oh its tires so spend a grand more on tires and they install them and im like are they all good oh yea put tonz of weights on one tire and I go u shure one of those rims aren't bent...I go we can't just get a different pair if they won't work because then there saying there's some hub play so I go why is that one tire have so much weight on it oh some just need alot more weight to balance. I go yea if there's somthing wrong with tires or rims. Anyways they send me out on road again and one of them drove with me this time I go no it's still doing it bad oh thats how trucks drive. I go you want me to throw factory rims and tire on this truck that only has 7100 miles on it to show you it drives smooth because I will. He goes I think it way better. I go are you serious water bottles and headrest are shaking so they made me feel guilty making them have to do there jobs or the right thing even know I was spending more on different tires then I was up to 4500 with crap rims u couldn't go on highway with. No it's customers fault hes just being picky.Yea ok like knowing one of those rims were bent having custom rims on 25 different rides over the years with multiple sets. They could of sent rims back or put my factories back on.. Nope they made me except thats how they wereeven know they sent me away with evidence that one of those rims had somthing wrong even on print out they gave me. So when I take it to ford for recall first time and they check tires. Literally first tire shop since them and what do ya know not tire it was the rim bent that exact one on there sheet they couldnt get balanced right .So yea havent went back since then. My trucks all had rim tires two sets most time so I spent 40 to 50 in rims and tires full leather kits they broke a bunch of my seat buttons and plastics and used caulk to glue plastics they broke everywhere so not even years later those pieces fall apart just driving ..lol..so I would never let them touch another one of my vechiles from that last tire and rim job. Anyone that has no morals or just lack of respect for they're buisness let alone allowing that to happen to a customer. I think all they're employees were just doing what owner wanted so yea it's not just on them being a joke it was all the managers and higher ups I blame ...And yes I have it documented from first wrong turn of that visit. Yea i should of done something but life got in the way. So no I do all my own stuff now and no I would never go back . Im not the only person they've done it too so be prepared to walk away with somthing that should be knew and make u feel great about your car but no u walk away with that happening ..Ur a joke stick to doing alarms or car starters if there even doing that in cars that most have now ..

I learned about Robert of Precision Stereo Repair out of NY from an article in Hemmings…read morehighlighting his repair service, and how he can install an inconspicuous input jack into your vintage radio. Intrigued, I called and spoke to Robert personally about repairing the original Delco 2700 series AM/FM cassette unit on my '82 Oldsmobile that had never worked since I've owned the car about 15 years. I wanted it back to full it's full functionality. After speaking with him on the phone I was confident he was the right person for the job. His knowledge and attention to detail was evident. Not only can he fix it but he can do one better. I had been putting this off for years because I didn't know who I could trust to do it right, and I wasn't about to send my original 44 year old stereo to just anyone. Choosing Robert was the right call. I opted for his additional services to improve sound quality and also add an aux input cable to be able to play any music from my iPhone as well. What I like is that it runs out of an existing hole in the back of the unit and no external modifications are made for a completely original look. I can tuck the cable under the dash and you would never know. Stereo retains full normal functionality when device is not connected. He also touched up the chrome outlines as I requested. Being able to hear clear music though my car's own speakers for the first time brought a big smile to my face and has greatly enhanced my driving pleasure. I also like to just sit in the car and listen. Thanks Robert.

I've also played around with installing things myself but I wanted the wires run in a way that it didn't look like I'd done it myself! I actually came in twice. First to talk options and get estimates and make an appointment. 2nd was to drop off the car. In-between, I did do some price checking. And everything was within the same range. Dropped the car off early since I knew it had to be there awhile. When I called later in the day to get an estimate for a pick-up time, it was about done. Someone walked me through the changes and new equipment. I was pretty comfortable without this but it was fine. I also had someone else in the parking lot with me. But the business should note that some individuals may not want to sit in their cars alone with a stranger. And, if you are picking up your car, bring a friend in this situation to sit with you for the tutorial!

They were able to fit us in quickly and do the job that Best Buy could not. They were professional and friendly. They have made us a customer, as in any future vehicles we purchase, we will come here FIRST.

Based on our interaction, I could see why she felt confident. Lee repaired the electric cord for free. Just for that, HiWay Hifi deserved 5 stars. When in need of repairs, go to HiWay Hifi.
