Their wonderful staple. My go to breakfast spot
Rose C.

Love this place. Always good service and food. Parking is easy. On weekends, there is also a nice farmers market nearby.

Literal dollop on top and melted down mmmmm so good cinnamon roll
Ash G.

Well... this is awkward, I cant help but feel a little disappointed, the food was good don't get me wrong, but the standard fell. OK let me explain, the cinnamon roll alone which was a rock star was nothing like its former self, and we always start with the cinnamon roll. It was a disappointing start and then being seated next to a really loud table when it's just the two of us, just kinda makes it seem like a little more effort should be given. I had the steak benedict and that was insane, they even managed to cook it a little pink for me as last time it was definitely over cooked, this time around it was perfect and cut beautifully and just tasted amazing. We also had the corned beef, also a favorite of ours and a rock solid choice Here's to bringing back the cinnamon roll to its former glory!!

Fried oysters

Came here for oyster fest we tried the fried oysters and they were so salty. We did not get much service here either. Not sure if we've return.

Met a couple of friends for brunch on a rainy weekend day at Salt and Iron, and it's definitely a good place to go if you want to catch up with your girlfriends over some good food. I had the spicy avocado tartine which was very good, but I would have liked a serrated knife to cut it with; I was a bit concerned that I was going to fling my tasty food off the table! My friends ended up splitting the crab Benedict and modifying it all over the place and the waiter couldn't have been more helpful in getting them what they wanted. They did comment that the two crab cakes were very small, but did enjoy their meal. Since I had a longer drive home, I ordered the guava lemonade. I didn't really taste any guava? My friends did enjoy their mimosa and Bloody Mary. I would eat here again.

Brussels & Shishitos and Seattle Stadium Fries

This was our first time here and we mainly went to try their happy hour! Food was great!! We tried one of each slider and our favorite was the crab cake slider. The stadium fries had the crispiest shoestring fries as well. Definitely will be coming back for dinner next time.

Filet mignon and lobster

Experience fine dining without the hassel of Seattle. Salt Iron is a wonderful place not to deep in Edmonds but in the downtown area. The atmosphere was amazing, very welcoming, food came out quick and hot. The food definitely left an impression bursting with unique flavors and that was fine dining +. The dining experience without the narcissistic attitude that leaves ur plate full because u were disappointed. Salt and iron will leave u wanting more, chefs kiss, perfection. Enjoy any occasion dinner. Anniversary and even ur first dates come and enjoy smart casual fine dine.

Brulee cheesecake

I came here for dinner and it was amazing. I thought that every dish was executed perfectly. The amount of food is actually pretty good too - I had to get dessert to go since I was so full! The steak tartare was well balanced. In my experience, it's way too easy for the seasonings to overwhelm the beef, but in this case the ingredients complimented each other and I could taste the quality of the beef. The calamari was cooked excellently with great breading, and I loved how they also breaded and fried the pickled jalapeno to switch up the dish. The result was so flavorful I didn't need to use any of the sauce The house salad was on par. The house made bread was so crusty outside and tender inside. It's not bakery level, but very delicious. 10 oz filet mignon was a lot of food. I think honestly the amount of steak was larger than 10 oz, and it was served with rich and creamy mashed red skin potatoes and asparagus. The red wine demi-glace was almost redundant since the steak was so juicy! I had to take my brulee cheesecake home since I was so stuffed and wanted time to take a walk and digest a little bit. I loved how the sugar crust on top was still intact and crunchy. The cheesecake was so creamy and smooth. The lemon pastry cream punctuated the vanilla flavor of the cheesecake and switched it up. Overall, delicious!

Coffee Crème Brûlée

I was surprised with a visit to Salt & Iron for my birthday! We've been wanting to visit after hearing so many great things, and as expected, it was bustling on a Saturday evening. With so many dishes to choose from, I knew I needed to try some of their seafood dishes. We decided to share the: - Oysters on a Half Shell - A classic choice for an appetizer - Seafood Risotto - The texture of the risotto was great - not too runny or clumpy. It comes loaded with shrimp, scallop, and halibut - yum! - Porkchop - The Korean pesto added such a fun flavor! - Coffee Crème Brûlée - This is generally one of my fav desserts, but the coffee cream took it to another level, balancing out the bitterness with the sweetness I think the amount was perfect to share and we both left pretty full and satisfied. Our server was also so friendly, and let us know that the dessert was on the house since for my birthday. With great food and a lovely ambiance, it was the perfect combination for a birthday outing!

Came here for Valentine's Day, I'm a little late with my review, but I was thinking about the dinner today and it was amazing! I got oysters their granita mignonette was incredible!! The oysters were the cleanest oysters I've ever had and I am a self-made oyster connoisseur. I also got the steak frites. Steak was cooked perfectly, and the Demi glaze and chimichurri sauce were great.

I loved the atmosphere and feel of this restaurant. Home-y and cozy! We orders the calamari, autumn salad, and bread for appetizers. I ordered the New York strip steak and shrimp. All our food was prepared to perfection!! Our waitress was attentive but still let us have space and not feel rushed. We will be back!

Nice place in downtown Edmonds but a bit overpriced. Service is a little slow but that's probably due to the regular brunch crowd. Nice brunch options with fresh seafood selection. Recommended if you're waiting for the ferry . Nice clean place .

The service was friendly and welcoming. I arrived 20 minutes before my friend and was still seated at our table while I waited. The food was delicious, everything tasted very fresh, from the bread and tartare to the entrée and dessert. The wine selection offered a great variety, and the ambiance was beautiful. I especially loved the décor. I look forward to dining here again in the future.

Sausage & Bacon benedict
Sin-Yaw W.

Visited a friend nearby and yelp helped me to this place. Good thing we reserved, as the weekend-only brunch was clearly quite popular. Someone ahead of us was turned away from an hour-long wait for a table. Biscuit and Gravy was generously portioned. The gravy was thick, satisfying, and packed with flavor. Biscuit was still crunchy after soaking in all the gravy. Crab salad got lots of crab meat and a dole of tobiko that was slightly wasabi infused. That was a pleasant innovation and we enjoyed it. Sausage and bacon benedict was perfectly prepared, as mimosa. Bloody mary came with a healthy piece of sausage and shrimp. By itself, could be a small meal. Yelp at its best: picking a restaurant where we never been.

Good times with the boys and some good mfing steaks.

We ordered an abundant spread, and every dish impressed. The clear crowd favorite was the Singapore black pepper prawns - fragrant, perfectly spiced, and completely addictive. That black pepper sauce was hands down the star of the meal: rich, peppery, and deeply flavorful. It was my favorite and could easily be eaten on everything. The Mala curry crab and XO crab were both outstanding; layered with complex, indulgent flavors. The Thai green chili clams and saus mentega clams were vibrant and comforting, while the crab fried rice had generous morsels of crab folded throughout the dish. We also really enjoyed the Indonesian chicken wings, which were crispy and flavorful, and the stir-fried vegetables, which added a fresh, well-balanced contrast to the seafood-heavy menu. Everything traveled well, was thoughtfully prepared, and made for an unforgettable catered meal. If you're considering catering from Marimakan Crabhouse, I can't recommend it highly enough. Get the black pepper sauce! Amazing from start to finish, and Chef V or Rachel is lovely to work with.

Some weeks ago, I'd had a similar sandwich at a reputed spot in Pike Place market. The Hook's was much better, and I have been thinking about ordering it again for two days now. Their fries were also some of the best I've had in town, and I'm not usually excited about fries. My family all had panko-crusted halibut (fish and chips style), and this, too was shockingly good. It was even tasty and crisp as leftovers reheated in the air fryer! (I know, I know, but who is throwing away fish in this economy?) I am but a humble Yelper and have learned my lesson.
