Greasy bag of soggy chips : (
    Rhett C.

I used to love coming to Salsa Limón. One of the best parts was the walk-up salsa bar -- it gave the place its name, its vibe, and that extra something that made it stand out from every other taco spot in town. But sadly, that's no longer the case. They recently did away with the self-serve salsa bar, and now you have to ask for salsa -- and they hand you a tiny to-go cup. It feels like a step backward, not just in service, but in experience. That generous, choose-your-own-salsa charm? Gone. Now it's just like any other place... only with less salsa. It's disappointing to see such a unique spot lose what made it special. Will definitely be rethinking future visits -- not so much Salsa Limón anymore... more like "Here's your little cup and good luck."

Highly recommend if your wanting some Mexican food! The hot habanero sauce is so spicy but worth a try! The Campion burrito with asada and the Quesadilla with chicken hit the spot. Overall great staff, family friendly place and the food came out fast! My husband and I enjoy coming here!

Carmen gave incredible service with an energetic smile!!!! It was early too!!!!

This is one of my go-to places for tasty tacos in the DFW area, and I even bring friends from out of town. The El Capitan with asada is very good, and it pairs nicely with the horchata. The guacamole and chips are also delicious. The staff are always courteous and helpful, and will even bring your food to the outside tables. Overall this place looks like a hole in the wall joint, but the food is top notch!

A large to go queso only half full!

Food is excellence but the service is BAD! We ordered a chicken burrito, bean and cheese burrito and a LARGE queso to go. The queso was only half full. 2nd time. Hopefully this gets the owners attention!

Cute little taco shop near downtown Fort Wort. Staff was great, everyone was very helpful when ordering and nice. I'm not sure why this place has this average 3.5 star rating because I thought the food was tasty! 5 stars in my eyes. Tip: get a burrito and get it with everything.

This is one of my favorite lunch places. I stop often at work. Sometimes the chips are stale. Other than that the food is really good....now they did strart charging for salsa that used to be free. Kind of fustrating but I still went back. But if you're going to charge for salsa that used to be free. Please fill the cups! This is only like 1/4 full. I order a bunch of extra salsa and was very annoyed when I went to go eat and they're barely half full!

    Bacon and Egg breakfast taco

I paid $5.25 for this one bacon and egg breakfast taco. Not worth the money. Low quality.

Al pastor torta - not good. Soggy stale bread. So sad.

None of our meals disappointed us and we left very satisfied by the experience. Memories for a lifetime! Most folks were dressed up (Including me and my partner...ironed starched blue jeans, smart collared shirt, cowboy boots and cowboy hats are very acceptable here). This is a very elegant and exclusive place. This is not a place for the average traveler. Make reservations early...If you want a table.

While it was a lovely experience in a stunning environment, it fell a bit short of the high bar you'd expect for a $95/pp tea service. The Good: First and foremost, the environment is absolutely beautiful. The Bowie House, Bricks & Horses restaurant, and the Mulberry Room itself are gorgeously decorated with a sophisticated Texas Western theme. The atmosphere in the Mulberry library is intimate and visually striking. Additionally, the service was excellent from start to finish, being both attentive and professional. The food portions are quite generous, with both the savories and sweets served together on a single tower. The sweets were the highlight of the food, as they were very delicious and surprisingly large. We also really enjoyed the tea selections themselves, particularly the Earl Grey and the plum rooibos. The Letdowns: Unfortunately, a few details missed the mark, especially considering the premium price point: - The "Champagne": The experience is advertised as including a glass of Champagne, but we were actually served Prosecco. At nearly $100 a person, substituting Prosecco for real Champagne or Cremant is a major disappointment. - The Tea Service: Instead of receiving a teapot to enjoy throughout the afternoon, the tea is steeped directly in the cup. This limits you to a single cup per tea variety, though to be fair, I didn't ask if refills were an option. - Food Refinement: While the portions were large and the savories were tasty, they lacked the elegance of a traditional tea. Every savory option was open-faced and heavily blanketed in microgreens and edible flowers, which felt a bit unrefined. - Comfort & Conversation: The Mulberry library features low couches, deep chairs, and coffee tables. While this setup would be absolutely perfect for relaxing with a glass of whiskey, it makes leaning over to eat finger foods highly uncomfortable. Furthermore, the seating layout isn't ideal for holding a natural conversation with the people in your party. Overall: It is a nice experience in a breathtaking Fort Worth hotel, but I'm not sure I would return. If the price point were lower, the execution would make more sense. However, given the other highly refined afternoon tea options available across DFW for less money, this one doesn't quite live up to its price tag.

We poke our heads in (accidentally going through the exit door. the front door is well camouflaged) and just found a wonderful very chilled out bar. Haven't been to a speakeasy in a long time. It was dark lighting with ambient black lights and string lights to keep it dim but you wont struggle to see through. Music was not super loud and the chairs were incredibly comfortable and the whole place was laid out to just have drinks and lounge while talking with friends. No food, which is fine. You have plenty of options on the same block for that. This place is just for drinks and conversation. The seasonal menu was awesome. It iss a bar so they of course can make anything you request if you don't want a specialty cocktail. I got my favorite, a moscow mule but they had a brazilian mule on the specialty menu. I never had that before and ordered it on the spot. It was grapefruit vodka with lime, lots of fine pellett nugget ice (the really good kind) with ginger beer and condensed milk. My god it was great, they told me how they made it because i never saw milk added to this before. It was a delicious limeade that almost was slushy like, creamy and with tangy vodka. Plus they actually served it in a proper copper mug. Best mixed drink ive had period and a cool twist on my favorite standard moscow mule. The place is now going to become a frequent haunt for us. Its very laid back, relaxed, with fantastic ambiance. It doesn't get jammed packed and is not meant to get wild in. We went there around 7pm on a friday night with about 8 or so others already there with their drinks. It did pick up later with 15-20 people in there but still spacious and comfortable. It genuinely was just a nice bar to have drinks and conversations with friends. Nice music that isn't too loud so you can talk with normal voice levels. The bartenders we had were super nice and charismatic. The drinks were not expensive, a respectable 13 bucks for my mule. If you have a bill over 40 dollars they automatically add 20% gratuity to it so keep that in mind when you are tipping. And after 8pm everything had 20% gratuity added to the bill. But the service is so damn good that you will probably still want to tip on top of that anyways. I loved it so much i actually made a yelp account just to post a review. TLDR super cool speakeasy type joint, cool aesthetics and laundry theme. Not loud, good for drinks and chit chat, cool well crafted specialty cocktails that don't break the bank. Good bartenders. Good times. Cozy seats that encourage you to hang out and talk even with folks you haven't met before and dim without being dark lighting. Clean bathroom too and quick charismatic service. Hit this place up for sure even just for the novelty of it. It was a wonderful surprise bar for a date night. Pro tip for this area in general. all paid parking, some place validates some do not, i am unsure if they do here but there is paid parking right out front and also a paid lot literally across the street. But i don't even bother. About a block and a half away northeast is a big shopping complex with a target. i just park there for free and walk. its a short nice walk and doesn't cost 20 bucks.

Fantastic choice! The menu is very "urban hipster" vibes. Plenty of burgers, lots of fun appetizers, charcuterie, one of my friends has some dietary restrictions and they were easily able to accommodate her needs which made us all very happy. This spot has a great bar in the front, and a smaller bar in the rear of the place. Outdoor seating as well as covered seating. Plenty of shade as well which will serve their patrons nicely in the coming Texas summer months. This is also a dog friendly dining spot, plenty of people were there with some amazing canine companions (always ask before you pet a strangers pup, it's just polite and courteous. Almost no one says No!). Assuming you don't have a dog allergy, this will hopefully be a feature. There is a relatively new apartment complex across the street and I get the feeling a lot of the people stopping in were regulars who bring in their dogs during walkies and grab a bite before heading back home, but that is just pure conjecture on my part. Either way, it was a fun inviting atmosphere. The music was nice, not too loud for my old man ears to enjoy but still present enough to be part of the evening without being intrusive. Staff was very nice, helpful, friendly, etc. Everything one would expect from a fine Texas eatery. Lots of spicier options on the menu if you're into that, but by no means anything overpowering. My guess is the owner has stock in some jalapeno growers farm somewhere and the food is all the better for it! If you're in the area already or if you're thinking of branching out for a nice new burger spot, this place is great and I will be returning. I live nearby so it'll likely become part of the regular rotation for us in the coming months. We are spoiled for choice in this area when it comes to good burgers being close to Grumps, close to Kincaid's, and close to Tommy's up on Camp Bowie. But this place competes on good burgers and if you're looking for a fun hangout atmosphere, you'd be hard pressed to find better. Easily recommended! Give them a try, I don't think you'll regret it! Cheers!
