    Jalapiña Margarita. So so good!
    Amy D.

I've been to Mesero many times and I enjoy each time. The ambience at night is great. You can't beat the location. Everything nestled in clearfork is perfect for walking around before and after dinner. The servers have always been quick and pleasant to be with. Tonight I really enjoyed my jalapiña Margarita. I highly recommend if you like tajin and spice! The airline chicken is juicy and tender. The salad served with it is incredible as well. It has great zing. The asada fajitas are some of the best of Fort worth. Quality meat, no fatty or chewy bits. True tender cuts. Dress it with lime and perfection! We ordered the Cinco leches to go but we know it is always amazing. Come here; you will eat and drink well and leave with a salsa pep in your step.

Although we were disappointed in the Mojitos, the rest of our experience was pretty good. We were there early a Saturday evening and it was busy! The wait wasn't too bad and the hostesses were very sweet. Once seated, we got our complementary chips, which are a bit heavy, but good enough. The salsas are a nice variety and just enough. I got Chile Colorado and bean soup. The beans were great, the entree had a good flavor, but the pieces of meat were sparse. My husband LOVED the chicken enchiladas! They had a tasty cheese sauce on them. What we really liked was the ambience. Joe T's has the margaritas down, Gloria's has the mojito. I'm not sure what drink they specialize in. Maybe another time, we'll find out. I can say that the carrot cake was to die for!

I came here with my Mom for lunch. We were seated as soon as we walked in. We ordered the shrimp ceviche, Flautas, and steak tacos. The shrimp ceviche was the best dish, Flautas was very crunchy and crispy. The meat in the tacos was very flavorful. Ana was our waitress and she was on top of it and was checking on us periodically with refills and making sure we had chips and salsa.

Always a fun & tasty time at Mesero. Love the depth and sophistication of the menu with the types of food to choose from and price range. Cocktails are unique and tasty. Servers are very nice & attentive. Definitely at go to with the bonus of the lovely Clearfork shopping after.

I'm a fan of the Clearfork area and I decided to give this spot a try. The ambiance is pleasant and inviting, but unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to expectations. The highlight of the meal was definitely the chips and trio of salsas, which were fresh and flavorful. Our server recommended the Queso Mesero, which includes spinach and artichoke--while it was an interesting twist, it wasn't quite to my taste. I'm a fan of both classic queso and spinach artichoke dip, but this combination didn't quite hit the mark for me. For my main, I ordered the Rojas Enchiladas. While they were basic, they were decent, though I was disappointed by the small portion of pinto beans and rice on the side, which didn't add much to the dish. Craving something sweet, I was hoping to see a dessert like flan on the menu, but instead we opted for the Tres Leches cake. It was massive and rich which is more Americanized rather than of an authentic Central or South American Tres Leches. Overall, while the atmosphere was enjoyable and the service was friendly, this isn't a place I'd rush back to. There are certainly better options for Tex-Mex in the area, but it's worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood and in the mood for Mexican.

Great tasting food rich in flavors My drink was blissfully delicious!..... Serves was tops and helpful My chicken mole just like mama would make from scratch The place was full of hungry folks and business people But.... my carrot cake would have been better with better silverware My spoon was not what I expected to eat such deliciousness

This place was very clean and the ambiance is nice. Our waiter was polite but had issues checking on us. He might have been busy in the dining room while we were on the patio. The food definitely seemed average that was made to look upscale and a lot was under seasoned. I had the Asada tacos and the Brisket tacos. The brisket was definitely under seasoned and the steak in the Asada was good. The beans on both dishes were definitely under seasoned also. Our waiter brought us the check without asking if we would like dessert. When we asked for carrot cake to-go he seemed slightly frustrated by the curveball m, but rolled with it nonetheless. The carrot cake while flavorful but also dense almost like a muffin or banana bread. Fort Worth is highly competitive with Mexican and Tex-Mex, so I had high hopes. While the food wasn't bad, there are many other places to eat with this cuisine.

We finally tried Mesero @Clearfork, and it was an absolutely delicious & pleasant experience. From the kind hostess who greeted us, to the comfortable booth where we were seated (and option for outdoor seating), to the modern and warm decor around us, to the outstanding menu, to the patient waitstaff, to the thick corn tortilla chips + 3 dipping salsas we ate while awaiting our food, to the fabulous wine + apps + entrees. Just wonderful! Recommend the stuffed jalapeño app! Definitely worth a try.

Chicken mole enchiladas with veggies added
    Andrew G.

With my love for mole, I had such high hopes for this enchilada. The actual mole sauce was great! The deep smoky flavor of the peppers came through and a slight sweetness also permeated the sauce. The chicken inside the tortilla was in huge pieces and pretty dry. There was not much flavor to the dish outside of the sauce. The veggies and rice + beans were okay, but not exceptional. Good service and they supported our large party quickly and attentively throughout the night.

This was our first visit to Mesero's, we asked Eric what he could suggest. He asked if we were wanting Tacos or enchiladas. I told him I was open, he suggested the Salmon Tacos so I said I would go with that and my husband picked the Mesero Carbon. The restaurant ambiance was Great. For dessert we shared a Carrot Cake with a coconut cream and cinnamon crusted pecans. It was delicious, we eat every bite. We wi definitely come again!

We poke our heads in (accidentally going through the exit door. the front door is well camouflaged) and just found a wonderful very chilled out bar. Haven't been to a speakeasy in a long time. It was dark lighting with ambient black lights and string lights to keep it dim but you wont struggle to see through. Music was not super loud and the chairs were incredibly comfortable and the whole place was laid out to just have drinks and lounge while talking with friends. No food, which is fine. You have plenty of options on the same block for that. This place is just for drinks and conversation. The seasonal menu was awesome. It iss a bar so they of course can make anything you request if you don't want a specialty cocktail. I got my favorite, a moscow mule but they had a brazilian mule on the specialty menu. I never had that before and ordered it on the spot. It was grapefruit vodka with lime, lots of fine pellett nugget ice (the really good kind) with ginger beer and condensed milk. My god it was great, they told me how they made it because i never saw milk added to this before. It was a delicious limeade that almost was slushy like, creamy and with tangy vodka. Plus they actually served it in a proper copper mug. Best mixed drink ive had period and a cool twist on my favorite standard moscow mule. The place is now going to become a frequent haunt for us. Its very laid back, relaxed, with fantastic ambiance. It doesn't get jammed packed and is not meant to get wild in. We went there around 7pm on a friday night with about 8 or so others already there with their drinks. It did pick up later with 15-20 people in there but still spacious and comfortable. It genuinely was just a nice bar to have drinks and conversations with friends. Nice music that isn't too loud so you can talk with normal voice levels. The bartenders we had were super nice and charismatic. The drinks were not expensive, a respectable 13 bucks for my mule. If you have a bill over 40 dollars they automatically add 20% gratuity to it so keep that in mind when you are tipping. And after 8pm everything had 20% gratuity added to the bill. But the service is so damn good that you will probably still want to tip on top of that anyways. I loved it so much i actually made a yelp account just to post a review. TLDR super cool speakeasy type joint, cool aesthetics and laundry theme. Not loud, good for drinks and chit chat, cool well crafted specialty cocktails that don't break the bank. Good bartenders. Good times. Cozy seats that encourage you to hang out and talk even with folks you haven't met before and dim without being dark lighting. Clean bathroom too and quick charismatic service. Hit this place up for sure even just for the novelty of it. It was a wonderful surprise bar for a date night. Pro tip for this area in general. all paid parking, some place validates some do not, i am unsure if they do here but there is paid parking right out front and also a paid lot literally across the street. But i don't even bother. About a block and a half away northeast is a big shopping complex with a target. i just park there for free and walk. its a short nice walk and doesn't cost 20 bucks.

Highlights: Super fun speakeasy-style entrance Small interior, but the seating is arranged really well for different group sizes and feels surprisingly comfortable I don't recall them offering food during my visit, but the bartenders were friendly and were able to make a great mocktail Surrounded by different eateries, so it's easy to grab food nearby before or after drinks Easy parking, which is always a plus (street or parking garage nearby)

None of our meals disappointed us and we left very satisfied by the experience. Memories for a lifetime! While it was a lovely experience in a stunning environment, it fell a bit short of the high bar you'd expect for a $95/pp tea service. The Good: First and foremost, the environment is absolutely beautiful. The Bowie House, Bricks & Horses restaurant, and the Mulberry Room itself are gorgeously decorated with a sophisticated Texas Western theme. The atmosphere in the Mulberry library is intimate and visually striking. Additionally, the service was excellent from start to finish, being both attentive and professional. The food portions are quite generous, with both the savories and sweets served together on a single tower. The sweets were the highlight of the food, as they were very delicious and surprisingly large. We also really enjoyed the tea selections themselves, particularly the Earl Grey and the plum rooibos. The Letdowns: Unfortunately, a few details missed the mark, especially considering the premium price point: - The "Champagne": The experience is advertised as including a glass of Champagne, but we were actually served Prosecco. At nearly $100 a person, substituting Prosecco for real Champagne or Cremant is a major disappointment. - The Tea Service: Instead of receiving a teapot to enjoy throughout the afternoon, the tea is steeped directly in the cup. This limits you to a single cup per tea variety, though to be fair, I didn't ask if refills were an option. - Food Refinement: While the portions were large and the savories were tasty, they lacked the elegance of a traditional tea. Every savory option was open-faced and heavily blanketed in microgreens and edible flowers, which felt a bit unrefined. - Comfort & Conversation: The Mulberry library features low couches, deep chairs, and coffee tables. While this setup would be absolutely perfect for relaxing with a glass of whiskey, it makes leaning over to eat finger foods highly uncomfortable. Furthermore, the seating layout isn't ideal for holding a natural conversation with the people in your party. Overall: It is a nice experience in a breathtaking Fort Worth hotel, but I'm not sure I would return. If the price point were lower, the execution would make more sense. However, given the other highly refined afternoon tea options available across DFW for less money, this one doesn't quite live up to its price tag.
