If you are looking for truly authentic Mexican food, Salsa Fresca is the place. The service was excellent from start to finish, but the food was the real star. I ordered the fajitas with corn tortillas, and they were fantastic--you can really taste the quality and authenticity in the ingredients. Scam alert - be cautious. Don't trust any of their online pricing. Make sure you ask for prices before placing a phone order. I placed a pickup order and was shocked to find that the in-store prices were 47% higher than both their own online menu and standard pricing. Example: items listed online at $8.49, $7.99, and $8.49 (plus a $0.50 takeout fee) totaled $25.47 pretax. My receipt in-store showed $12.99, $11.99, and $12.47 for the same items -- a total of $37.47. On top of that, they tack on a 3% credit card fee, which is annoying but manageable. What wasn't acceptable: when I paid cash, the clerk didn't give back the proper change, saying, "Sorry, I literally have no change." Been here several times. Service was excellent. They have really good guacamole. That is a must-try! I always love their chips and salsa, as well as the queso dip. My daughter ordered the chicken fingers and fries and she loved it. I ordered Quesadilla Rellena. The Arroz con Pollo, which was what my mom ordered was absolutely delicious. Next time, I'm gonna order that for myself! Lol For dessert, we had churros. It was light, delicate, and just the right amount of sweetness to end our meal. The cheese enchilada and bean burrito essentially tasted the same, chalupa was good and had lots of avocado on top, but I wish the tomato was diced. This restaurant is in a cute shopping center. We hosted my friend's bridal shower here since she loves Mexican food. The employees told us that we would be able to arrive at 10:45 AM to start setting up early for the shower (which started at 11:30 AM). However, no one arrived early for us to come in. The groom's grandmother was knocking on the door until 11:00 AM. We felt a little rushed trying to get everything together in the next 30 minutes, especially since people started arriving almost right away, but we made it work! I've never had bland mexican food until I came here.. bad service and terrible food. You think burrito you think rice, beans, lettuce, guac, sour cream maybe some pico plus whatever protein. Well I ordered the burrito grande and was just carnitas. This was a flour tortilla with just carnitas inside and not even good carnitas. No flavor, bland, just terrible.. Her Hawaiian fajitas were no bueno. Again, bland dry chicken and dry corn tortillas that she needed to wash down with ice tea that I had to find a server to refresh. Quite possibly the worst "Mexican food" I have ever had. The best part of the meal was the jalapeño poppers akin to something I could have picked up in the jack in the box drive-thru. Second time going with my family and it was better than the last (good before as well). Seated quickly, restaurant was clean. Server was a bit slow to take our order but understandably so since a bunch of parties had come in just before us. The food was amazing. I ordered a San Jose burrito which was a chicken burrito with chorizo and cheese sauce. My wife ordered "Hawaiian" fajitas and we expected it to be just fajitas with canned pineapple chunks, but we were surprised when they brought it out to us. This restaurant offers great mexican food(more so on the Tex-Mex side). It's my favorite currently because the price is reasonable with the huge portion you obtain. The flavor is great and they give you fresh warm homemade Tortilla chips and salsa that is incredible. While ordering is great, dining in would def be best suited. Speaking of ordering, I think they may have been understaffed recently when I went. I probably waited a good 7 minutes inside the building for someone to ring me up. I understand this may be a nuisance with some people. When corona lets up and you can enter, it is a BYOB and there is a liquor store right next to the building so I find it to be a great combo. read more

Went here a few weeks ago. The place is nice and the staff is friendly. The food however was ok. I had the chicken fajitas and sadly it was tasteless. There was no spices whatsoever on it.
