I grabbed some pizza here on my way to a Red Sox game. Sal's is what I'd consider to be pizza or convenience, not really of the best taste. The slices are decent, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. I do recall that it seemed very pricey, but that's to be expected, given it's right outside Fenway Park. I do believe they also sell Sal's inside the stadium, but I'd prefer to eat in advance and not wait in a huge line. The vibes are great on nights where there's a game happening, but I'm guessing it's quieter there otherwise.

Sal's on Brookline Ave across from Fenway Park The pizza incredibly was mediocre at best. The sauce, cheese, and crust were very bland and not very flavorful. The good news is as bad as this pizza was, it's not nearly as bad as the product the Red Sox put on the field yesterday. They suck and they suck very badly. The employees here were great.

Good pizza, stopped in before the Sox game and had a slice and a beer. Pizza was good, staff were friendly and the place was clean. I had the slice with a bunch of meat on it but I don't remember the name of it. Either way Sal's is a great place to drop in for a slice and a beer before the game.

Ate here before game, walk in get a slice. I finished all that. Full and ready to chill. Service was rapid speed and chills vibes lots of tvs

Awesome pizza! Loved it! Stopped here on way to Red Sox v Yankees game. The staff is polite & the pizza was great. I'm from NYC I know pizza, this is GREAT pizza!

A wicked under-cooked cheese pizza...cheese is barely melted

Cook the pizza! Sal's doing themselves a huge disservice at Fenway tonight with wicked under-cooked pizzas served "free" to Babson alumni...they are going to write a case study on how NOT to promote your brand...

I was on my way to a Boston Red Sox game and stumbled across this place. The smell of fresh pizza drew me in as I am a die hard pizza lover. I decided I would eat here instead overpaying for hot dogs and pizza at Fenway Park. Orders a few slices of pizza. Pizza crust was amazing and they were large slices. I had pepperoni with banana peppers and it was very delicious. Perfect combination of meats and cheese. I got full on almost 1 1/2 slices but that hit my spot. Went to Fenway Park and enjoyed the game but did not have to buy anything there to eat except ice cream because of Sals. Give this place a try if in the area.

I had heard that this place was a classic that you have to hit up when going to Red Sox games, so I decided to give it a try during the Playoffs. It was not crowded, but definitely had a good amount of patrons stopping through for a bite, and even some people who seemed to be just hanging around watching the game. I gave a slice of "Bacon Cheeseburger" a try. I've had bacon cheeseburger pizza from Domino's (yes, really) and I was kind of disappointed with Sal's rendition. They add ketchup on top, but do not switch the cheese to cheddar, which is an important aspect of the cheeseburger taste. The pizza seemed pretty undersauced, I wasn't sure that they even put any sauce on it other than the drizzle of ketchup on top. It wasn't BAD, I was just expecting more. Would I come here again? Sure, if I'm at a Red Sox game or going for a night out in Fenway and I want some reasonably priced, average pizza. And I'd stick to pepperoni or cheese, which are much harder to mess up. Although, there are a fair amount of fast food/fast casual chains nearby that could do the job just as well, if you aren't set on having the 'Fenway' experience of getting Sal's Pizza.

Very normal pizza, good but not great or to die for. Good for a quick bite. Nice place to sit out.. Right by fenway, I went here when I went to Fenway Park.

My wife was looking for a vegetarian-friendly spot, and this place had great ratings, so we gave it a shot. I went with the Philly Cheesesteak, and I definitely enjoyed it. Was it the best I've ever had? Nah. But it was flavorful, well-cooked, and disappeared pretty quickly. I will say, a little more cheese would've taken it from a 7 to a 9 for me. The real star of the show though? The loaded fries. Crispy fries with a generous topping that made every bite hit. Easily my favorite part of the meal. Food-wise, no complaints. The reason I'm landing at 4 stars is the customer service. It wasn't bad by any means, but there's something about walking up to the counter, saying hello, and just getting a silent stare back that throws off the vibe a bit. Maybe I'm just morphing into an old man, but a quick greeting goes a long way. That said, it didn't ruin the experience. I've got another Boston trip coming up, and I'll probably swing back to try something else. Definitely worth checking out, whether you're vegetarian or just like good food.

I didn't feel gross or overly full after eating this food. It felt very fresh and healthy. Until I get the chance to visit this place in person, I'll continue to order delivery from it! Highly recommend if you are in the mood for some good healthy food.

When we walked up around 7:30 pm, the outdoor seating on this beautiful day was already full. Good sign to start! To quench my thirst, I opted for a Storrow Jam libation- a blueberry, vodka, sparkling water, lemon flavored drink. Absolutely refreshing and well presented! My pal ordered their spin on a Cuban and swapped out the chips for the dill pasta side. He loved it so much that it was gone on minutes. Being a fan of ground meats, I opted for the Hajj, a ground lamb, tzatziki, Mediterranean style sandwich. It was well flavored and large, and came with a side salad. I shared the sandwich with my friend, but agreed that his crispy Cuban was a bit tastier. We ended the evening with a bread pudding topped with vanilla ice cream to share. Massive portions! We both enjoyed to our hearts' delight, and the one dessert could have easily been shared with a third person. Our wait staff was so pleasant- friendly and warm from the start.
