    Mozzarella sticks
    Mike T.

Honestly, decent food. Flavor was there, but their organization needs work. We ordered for pick up, and they seemed busy which wasn't shocking, but we waited a while past pick up time and they gave us a wrong meal. We ordered a crispy chicken Caesar sub, a steak and cheese sub and an Italian sandwich, but they gave us two chicken subs no steak and cheese. The chicken wings were a good size and good flavors especially for the price. The mozzarella sticks however weren't great honestly. The location was really convenient, but not the best for parking. Seems like a neat place to grab a slice and sit down.

    Great undercarriage

Was surprised with the low Yelp reviews for this pizza joint. Most of the low scores attributed to something other than the pizza. Pizza was good. Nice undercarriage and good sauce flavor and cheese to sauce ratio. A little on the floppy side. Service was typical 20 something on his phone who didn't want to be bothered or knew the pizza he was hocking. Ambiance was city loft steam punkish. .

Pizzas were excellent! The cheeseburger pizza had a great "Big Mac" sauce drizzled on it. Their pizzas had a nice crunch and char to them with little-to-no flop. Definitely worth it!

    "Crispy Chicken Caesar Sandwich"

Took the T to Orient Heights from Revere, Ordered two sandwiches A Crispy Chicken Caesar and a Chicken Parm sandwich, order takes 20 minutes guy behind the counter tries to bring it to me after confirming it was to go at the counter twice. Another 5 minutes go by as they're scrambling to figure out how to properly pack our Togo sandwiches. Get all the way back home and one of the sandwiches is completely wrong looks like they gave us a beef cheese sandwich. When you order in person you expect the order to be accurate especially when it only takes 20 minutes. Didn't even get to try this new "trending" spot due to lack of service, no refund offered because when you call the restaurant nobody picks up. Mine as well sell the Pizza spot, the food industry isn't for these bozos

    Burn and poorly stretched pizza.

It's unfortunately the second time someone doesn't know how to want/ to stretch dough properly in a row... the bottom is so burnt it is nearly editable. Their cashier thinks she's the greatest thing and we should be grateful to be in her presence... the way she berates her co workers, they probably do what they can just to get through... and this is the result It's shame they let this out the door, never mind charge $20 for it.

Pesto, Roni & Vodka Sauce Sicilian'

"Crush Pizza: Where Your Wallet Gets Crushed, But So Do Your Cravings!" Saw this pizza on Instagram and fell into a deep, cheesy trance. One Google search, a Yelp order (who knew Yelp could do that?), and $40 later (yes, FOR ONE PIZZA), I was committed. Walked in--place is massive, like they're preparing for a pizza-eating Olympics. Ordered the Pesto, Pepperoni & Vodka Sauce pie. Let me tell you, this thing was a masterpiece. Pesto? Perfect. Pepperoni? CUPPED AND PLENTIFUL. Vodka sauce? Smooth like a jazz musician. And that drizzle of Mike's Hot Honey? Chef's kiss. Was it $40? Sure. Did I question my life choices? Maybe. But one bite in, and my bank account suddenly felt... justified. Worth it? Absolutely. Now excuse me while I go sell a kidney for my next pie.

Crush Pizza recently opened another location in East Boston, and I was quite impressed. I was excited to the pesto, roni, and vodka sicilian pizza and it was delicious. The slices they offer were too tempting not to pass up and being a lover of buffalo chicken pizza these were also solid. We also tried the mozz sticks, which unfortunately were not my favorite. However, I loved the art they had in the main dining area and the servers were very friendly! Definitely try the pizza!

French onion steak and cheese, chicken pesto sandwich, and Italian beef sub. Three happy customers.

Salty Pig Pizza: A pizza with the same name as the restaurant! Who was the genius who came up with the idea of salted pig and beer caramel? It's brilliant! The salted pork appears to include Prosciutto di Parma from Langirano, Prosciutto Cotto, and Salcissia. Baking rendered the prosciutto's fat, which blends with the caramel to create a beautiful golden syrup that flows across the pizza's surface. The prosciutto was savory, oily, and tender; the minced salcissia retains its coarse texture and rich meaty aroma; the caramel was sweet and mellow with a honey-like sweetness, forming the top, middle, and base notes respectively. The arugula was slightly warmed, losing its astringent and raw taste while maintaining its crisp texture, helped to cut through the richness together with the Parmesan cheese powder. The crust was crispy, while the inside the dough was soft and chewy. The cooking time and seasoning were all just right, and the restaurant's proud wooden oven added a charming smoky flavor. Affogato: I had high expectations, but it was just okay. The espresso was too sour, and the vanilla ice cream couldn't balance it out. The almond biscuits had an overpowering almond flavor, and the flavor of plant-based protein was terrible! (Oh, this should have been a plus...)

The linguine was on the smaller side portion-wise, but it came loaded with mussels and shrimp. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce had a nice tangy, flavorful profile that really stood out. The Salsiccia pizza was good--plenty of toppings for its size and a well-balanced amount of cheese and sauce. What kept it from being great, if I'm being a bit hyper critical, was the crust. It leaned too doughy and lacked the crispness and airy texture you'd expect; the closest comparison I can think of is something like an Olive Garden breadstick. Service was okay--nothing particularly impressionable--but the ambience made up for it. The space felt warm, trendy, and like the perfect spot for a casual dinner. Overall, a solid spot with well-executed dishes, especially the pasta, and a pizza that's definitely enjoyable with just a small detail holding it back from the next level.

They only sell whole pies, which at first seemed annoying (the first time I tried coming here a few years ago I was by myself and couldn't eat a whole pizza alone) so I had to make this my inaugural tasting). But I see that as ensuring you are only eating a fresh product, where all the ingredients cook into each other and come out hot and ready, instead or something reheated from four hours ago because the day was slow. The menu is simple: pizzas and meat skewers. They know what they do well and lean into it hard.
