Breadsticks!
Jess S.

You have got to spot by this place! It's a food truck and it's AMAZING! I had the white pizza and the breadsticks. It was so good I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the pizza. I ordered the small and it was cut into fours. The breadsticks were so good and the "bread" wasn't just frozen, it was the good stuff! The workers were very nice even while they were busy cooking! The food truck overall looks very clean and has a great vibe to it!

Look at that bread!

Fantastic food it's definitely authentic and true italian, the bread is like you've traveled to italy you can tell from the first bite. The pizza and bread sticks were amazing. Good italian is very hard to come by and I was pleasantly surprised despite being a food truck. Highly recommend!

What does it tell you when the only bad review is from the anti Trumper. Food was great! Good guys in the truck too.

Della Torre's Italian Deli - Chicken Parm

This has quickly become my go-to sandwich spot whenever I'm visiting my parents. I tried the…read morechicken pesto caprese and subbed the regular tomatoes for sun-dried tomatoes and it was honestly amazing. The sandwich is pretty big, which I actually love because it easily turns into two meals for me. Everything tasted really fresh, including the bread, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. I liked it so much that I stopped in again on my way out of town to try one of their breakfast sandwiches. They serve it on a roll just like they do in NYC, which immediately caught my attention. The egg, cheese, and bacon were all great and hit the spot. I was hoping the roll would be just a little better, but it was still pretty close to the kind I'm used to getting at my favorite breakfast spots in NYC. Overall, definitely a place I'll keep coming back to whenever I'm in town. Great sandwiches and really solid breakfast sandwiches too.

We love the fresh mozzarella, and the warm seeded semolina sub rolls. Each sandwich is packed with excellent meats, veggies, and toppings. The bread is crusty and soooo good. I get the rolls with butter and even that is just perfection. Still need to try the rice balls and meatballs, but there's time! Great and friendly service! It's usually pretty busy, but that's only because it's so good!

Arrival: There are parking lots nearby--expect to pay around $15-25. As we walked up, there was live jazz music playing in the courtyard, which set a really great vibe right away. Service: Our waiter was attentive and timely without being overbearing. Food: Everything was amazing. We started with the bread service--the truffle butter was definitely the highlight (we didn't care too much for the ricotta spread). FYI: the little cubes that look like white cheddar are *not* cheese...I learned that the hard way by biting into a square of butter. For dinner, I had the cacio e pepe and he ordered the 100 lasagna. Portions were a bit smaller than expected, but honestly fine after filling up on bread. For dessert, we shared an affogato--the espresso wasn't burnt (which is surprisingly rare), so that was a big win. Overall: After the Resy credit, parking ended up costing more than the meal, which is kind of wild. Only downside was that there are just two restrooms, and there was a line when we went. Great time overall--will definitely be back.

We started with the bread appetizer, which came with several types of fresh bread and an incredible lineup of spreads like whipped ricotta, truffle butter, regular butter, and honey. Every bread had its own distinct flavor and texture. Next up was the sausage appetizer featuring both a sweet sausage and a spicy sausage, all made in house. They were cooked perfectly and served in a flavorful sauce with peppers that tied everything together. The balance between the sweet and spicy was so good. For my entree, I ordered the lasagna, and it was pure comfort. It reminded me so much of the classic lasagna I grew up eating, layered with rich Bolognese and a creamy bechamel sauce that made it feel both nostalgic and elevated. My boyfriend went with the steak (I believe it's a New York strip) and swapped a few of the sides to his liking. The steak was absolutely cooked to perfection, a beautiful medium rare. I may or may not have stolen about four bites... and yes, it was worth it..... We were way too full for dessert, but we did enjoy a bottle of wine with dinner which made the whole experience feel like the perfect date night. The service was fantastic, the food was memorable, and it's definitely a place we'll be coming back to for many more dates!

Second, the ambiance strikes the perfect balance: it feels elevated and polished, but never stuffy or overly formal. It's the kind of place where you feel comfortable whether you're dressed up or just coming in for a relaxed night out. Most importantly, the food is excellent -- and consistently so. That reliability matters. While I personally tend to prefer red sauces that are a little less acidic, I can absolutely get behind Poppy's marinara because the dish as a whole just works. Everything comes together beautifully. And the bread? Dangerous. I could happily eat it until I slip into a full carb coma.

The restaurant is very popular. So much so that they really need a bigger place - one with a much larger bar area. My Penne Caprese was very good with a delicious pesto sauce. The portion was huge. The garlic bread comes just the way I love- drenched in garlic and oil! Nice size rolls. The side of meatballs was the star. Four large balls with a nice mild meat flavor in a really good tomato sauce. The portions here are large and the prices much lower than you'd expect. A nice surprise! This is a popular place so get there early.

I peaked in the kitchen and they were working it in there. Our sauces were so tasty that had to be a secret sauce recipe. I had the pasta del ponente sausage very good. We ordered a very good bottle of wine. Our waitress was top notch with great named Danielle. The place is very romantic for a date night. First and foremost, the temperature inside the restaurant is freezing. This has been the case on all four of our visits. The last time, I had a coat and two towels wrapped around me just to make it through dinner, and everyone seated nearby felt the same way. Even the hostess mentioned she was cold. It's uncomfortable enough that it's the main reason I wouldn't return. Second, as a diabetic, I really wish there were more options beyond pasta. A chicken, fish, or other protein-based entrée would be greatly appreciated. On our most recent visit, I was both cold and hungry but couldn't find anything suitable on the menu. I ended up ordering the tomato soup, which arrived lukewarm and, after being reheated, was unfortunately so salty it was inedible. My husband's lasagna came out the same way--lukewarm and overly salty--but he ate it anyway. Our friends had the pear pasta and said it was delicious, though it could have been hotter. The mozzarella appetizer was another miss. It had an unappealing presentation and looked like something prepackaged rather than freshly prepared. On the positive side, the bread, wine, and cocktails were excellent, and our server was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and quick to help. Maybe it was just an off night in the kitchen, but since it wasn't particularly busy, we expected the food to be hot and consistent. Overall, I'd love to see the restaurant adjust the air conditioning to a more comfortable level and add at least one non-pasta entrée, like a classic chicken marsala or grilled fish. Until then, we'll probably stick to recommending it for those who don't mind a cold dining room and a pasta-heavy menu.
