    Chicken Pesto Caprese
    Kelly L.

This has quickly become my go-to sandwich spot whenever I'm visiting my parents. I tried the chicken pesto caprese and subbed the regular tomatoes for sun-dried tomatoes and it was honestly amazing. The sandwich is pretty big, which I actually love because it easily turns into two meals for me. Everything tasted really fresh, including the bread, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. I liked it so much that I stopped in again on my way out of town to try one of their breakfast sandwiches. They serve it on a roll just like they do in NYC, which immediately caught my attention. The egg, cheese, and bacon were all great and hit the spot. I was hoping the roll would be just a little better, but it was still pretty close to the kind I'm used to getting at my favorite breakfast spots in NYC. Overall, definitely a place I'll keep coming back to whenever I'm in town. Great sandwiches and really solid breakfast sandwiches too.

I love this place! The bread alone is out of this world! The crunch on the semolina roll is just divine! Having a Italian sub shop near by is soo wonderful( and dangerous for my Italian sub loving self) I do wish the prices were a bit more reasonable but every time I bite into the sub.. I forget this part and just get mesmerized by the flavors and think to myself self "it's so worth it for this delicious sub!" Staff are always very kind and fast for how busy they get! The layout seems pretty typical for a to-go shop and I would expect it to turn into a sit down since most people are taking them to go anyways! I would love some more imported food options! That would be lovely!! Well it's been a few days since my last sub so I guess I'm due for another soon!

Having an authentic Italian deli near the house is an absolute score for us. Breakfast and lunch, this place is the absolute best! We love the fresh mozzarella, and the warm seeded semolina sub rolls. Each sandwich is packed with excellent meats, veggies, and toppings. The bread is crusty and soooo good. I get the rolls with butter and even that is just perfection. Still need to try the rice balls and meatballs, but there's time! Great and friendly service! It's usually pretty busy, but that's only because it's so good!

Italian Chicken Cutlet with Hot Cappi! So good! Cutlets are thin, breaded and made in house.

***EAT FOOD FROM HERE ***. **THANK ME LATER** Don't get me wrong, Della Torre's Lunch is amazing - BUT........ The Breakfast Sandwich is what I cannot live without! The Rolls are straight from NYC and you can taste it! Breakfast time is usually off peak, beware they draw a mob for lunch! Better for take out as they have limited seating.

Easy access in/out of shopping. Clean. Only three tables with 8 chairs ... so technically dine-in is an option. We came here specifically for lunch to try it - we have a list and checking them off. Very friendly greeting. Owner/Chef seemed to know the regulars by name and very gregarious. Accent gives him away as a NY'r immediately. We had to wait a few minutes for bread to finish baking, but no big deal. Happy to. Everything smelled delicious. We had two fried chicken parm hero sandwiches ... incredible amount of chicken on the roll with cheese - very filling. Nice flavor; but definitely needed more sauce - perhaps on the side to add based on taste. Philly Cheesesteak ... might just say "cheesesteak" vs bringing Philly into the mix ... do not confuse this with Pat's King of Steaks or Geno's Steaks at the south end of 9th Street in South Philly. It was filling but needed some more flavors. And a THE SWEATY SICILIAN -- Spicy soppressata, spicy capocollo, prosciutto, provolone, lettuce, hot cherry pepper, olive oil and balsamic glaze. The spice and the cherry pepper were calling! Friend said it was great! This was about a 35 minute drive from our house ... unlikely to repeat soon. Solid 3.5 or 3.8 // 5 score.

This is the place for an authentic Italian sandwich! Everything is fresh and the bread makes it perfect. Mainly a take-out place with only a few tables. The sandwiches are big and they don't skimp out on the chicken cutlets. This will be my new go-to Italian deli sandwich shop.

Had the taste for Chicken parm. Got there on a Sunday at 1:30 they were out of chicken, sauce and fresh mozzarella. I had the Philly Cheese Steak and my husband had the Little Italy. Both very good! The customer service good and the people are friendly. I am sure this place will do well. We will be back.

Arrival: There are parking lots nearby--expect to pay around $15-25. As we walked up, there was live jazz music playing in the courtyard, which set a really great vibe right away. Service: Our waiter was attentive and timely without being overbearing. Food: Everything was amazing. We started with the bread service--the truffle butter was definitely the highlight (we didn't care too much for the ricotta spread). FYI: the little cubes that look like white cheddar are *not* cheese...I learned that the hard way by biting into a square of butter. For dinner, I had the cacio e pepe and he ordered the 100 lasagna. Portions were a bit smaller than expected, but honestly fine after filling up on bread. For dessert, we shared an affogato--the espresso wasn't burnt (which is surprisingly rare), so that was a big win. Overall: After the Resy credit, parking ended up costing more than the meal, which is kind of wild. Only downside was that there are just two restrooms, and there was a line when we went. Great time overall--will definitely be back.

We started with the bread appetizer, which came with several types of fresh bread and an incredible lineup of spreads like whipped ricotta, truffle butter, regular butter, and honey. Every bread had its own distinct flavor and texture. Next up was the sausage appetizer featuring both a sweet sausage and a spicy sausage, all made in house. They were cooked perfectly and served in a flavorful sauce with peppers that tied everything together. The balance between the sweet and spicy was so good. For my entree, I ordered the lasagna, and it was pure comfort. It reminded me so much of the classic lasagna I grew up eating, layered with rich Bolognese and a creamy bechamel sauce that made it feel both nostalgic and elevated. My boyfriend went with the steak (I believe it's a New York strip) and swapped a few of the sides to his liking. The steak was absolutely cooked to perfection, a beautiful medium rare. I may or may not have stolen about four bites... and yes, it was worth it..... We were way too full for dessert, but we did enjoy a bottle of wine with dinner which made the whole experience feel like the perfect date night. The service was fantastic, the food was memorable, and it's definitely a place we'll be coming back to for many more dates!

The cooked penne was sitting on the counter uncovered, just vibing at room temperature like it had officially given up. The sauce? The Chicken Marsala arrived undefeated in battle against any form of tenderizing. This chicken was not pounded thin -- it clearly lifts weights. I needed a steak knife, determination, and possibly a waiver to cut through it. We shared one entrée and a bottle of wine that tasted like grapes filed a formal complaint, and somehow the bill still hit $65. I checked twice to make sure we hadn't accidentally invested in the business. And just when you think the experience is complete, surprise! There's a debit card fee. Don't worry though -- the owner's son (also waiter, host, busboy, and possibly assistant regional manager) will loudly explain it from across the restaurant so the entire dining room can stay informed.
