They were welcoming and knowledgeable from the get-go--even fixed my front bumper in seconds and immediately. They sent me an estimate on the same day for a crack repair and some paint correction I needed to get done. I dropped off my car and a couple of days later got an email from them telling me less work was needed than initially thought, and informing me that the price would go down. *down*! A true testament to their honesty and ethics. The work was completed ahead of time and beautifully. My car looks as good as new, when in fact it's ten years old. I would go back in a heartbeat and with full trust. This is a perfect auto body shop.

That would not work, so I went online and found Rocco's Auto Repair in my new neighborhood - Tuckahoe. Tina, Rocco's office manager, could not have been more professional or friendly, answering each of my calls on the first ring. I brought the car in for an estimate the next day. The diagnosis was confirmed, and I was quoted a price of $1,600, including wheel alignment. The work was done the following day, and the price I paid was the price quoted. I won't go through the long saga of my 2011 Subaru Legacy, but will just say that I put my faith…read moreand trust in Ralph and his team at Farrows, and they delivered. The car needed a complete assessment of the engine cylinder heads and a question of whether the challenges, length of time, repairs needed and expense would be worth the money. In the end, I decided it was all worth it, largely because I trusted Ralph and his team. I found Farrow's to be thorough, knowledgeable, honest, and communicative. Not so from a local dealer's Subaru service department which may have actually contributed to the problems with the engine (but I'll never know that for sure). My car was with Ralph and team for almost two months. Ralph never sugar coated anything -- was forthcoming about the time it would take for parts, repairs, etc, and the costs. They were diligent in working to diagnose the root cause, not just symptoms, to get it right. I picked up my car yesterday and needless to say: it's running great -- like having a completely new car (at 120k miles in). I would highly recommend Farrow's to anyone and will continue to bring my car there. A huge thank you to Ralph and master technician Bernie; can't say enough good things about them. Here's to the next 100k miles!
