Not only did these folks in Harrison expertly take care of a fender-bender in late April- but they meticulously cleaned and vacuumed the inside of my car by the time I picked it up 3+1/2 weeks later in mid May. Based on our car insurance, A & C was the designated shop for repairs. Joe, the owner's son, was swift from the very beginning. Paperwork quoted me about 14 days my car would be at the shop- but took longer. I figured between appraisal, paperwork itself, etc- it all added that extra time. Regardless of the time it took, service from Joe was top-quality and broke things down for me as well as his mom who makes sure payment and such is on the up and up. At the conclusion of the repair, I had to bring it back for some minor paint chipped off from the front bumper of my car that wasn't there before. Our car was sent to this place by Insurance company for body work, at the conclusion of repair we had to tow the car to a mechanic shop because while the car was in their possession the fuel pump failed. A&C doesn't take responsibility and referred us to mechanic shop. Consider this before leaving your car with them, specially if your car is not under warranty. read more

Great service! I stumbled upon A & C Auto after visiting a few other local garages for quotes to repair a 3" dent in my hood, and repaint it. What I liked about A&C first and foremost, is that it was large, bright, and well lit, with an actual customer service counter, in stark contrast to some of the dark, seedy man caves I had visited prior. They also had a clearly established painting station, at the far end of the garage. I walked in, asked for an estimate, the manager inspected, give me an estimate, and was on my way in under 10 minutes. I checked out the online reviews, and dropped the car off the next morning. I was told that the car would be ready by 3:00pm the next day, but they neglected to mention that the last pickup of the day was at 3:30pm. (I assumed 3 pm was an estimate, not a guarantee). So I ended up hustling there when they called me at 3:40, but were good about waiting for me. The work on the hood was sheer perfection; it came out looking brand new. I can't tell, even looking up close, underneath, or even knocking on the hood, that anything ever happened to it. In addition to the major dent, they also removed other smaller dings on the hood. And the painting, including the sheen, was a perfect match to the rest of the car. I would definitely recommend A&C Auto to anyone. read more

We have been going to A&C Autobody Shop for repairs to our cars for more than 40 years. Recently, when we had some body work done to the right front fender, the results were excellent as always. What was disconcerting was the petty theft of a tin full of mints and a microfiber cloth used to clean the windshield by one of the men who worked on the car. The microfiber cloth was replaceable. The tin for the mints was not. Be warned to take EVERYTHING no matter how inconsequential out of the car before having it repaired. The estimate of two days for repair turned into three days costing us more for the rental car since we did not report the incident to our insurance company. read more
