The guys thoroughly troubleshot the issue: they drove it and figured that it was actually coming from an oil leak. They power-washed the engine bay, drove it some more, and determined the exact source of the leak. They gave everything another look and after finding engine gunk determined that the car probably didn't have the most regular oil changes in its past. (In my defense, it was a used car - I'm an every-5,000-miles kind of guy). This also surprised me, since the car had been to a certain 3-letter luxury car dealership twice in the last year and this leak was never discovered. The next day, the issue was fixed, all fluids topped-off, and I was on my way. The guys stayed open late so I could pick up my car and explained all of the work that was done; no shady up-sell. I've been to many mechanics over the years - national chains, "quick lubes", luxury dealerships, domestic dealerships, "discount" tire shops all around the country. This place is, by far, the most thorough, honest, and professional place I've ever been - I felt like I was personally being attended to.

Was able to drop my car off early Saturday morning. I was given a drop off appointment time in advance so no waiting. They texted me updates throughout the repair process and my car was ready ahead of schedule. My car had been washed and cleaned (inside and out) too. They fully warranty all their repairs and everyone that works there is super friendly, pleasant, and helpful. Another benefit of using IFM is their relationship with GEICO. The GEICO adjuster has a desk in their office and was waiting for me when I dropped off my car. They also work with Enterprise so my rental was waiting there for me and I dropped it off there when I picked up my car. It was really convenient to only have to go to one place. Would definitely recommend IFM Collision!!!

Okay, so where to start...I find that buying a car is both exciting but also can be quite…read moreexhausting. I think we can all admit that it's super exciting to get a new vehicle but the process is usually long, back and fourth and is usually a stressful process. I unfortunately had a totaled car and was in need of a new vehicle ASAP. I'm picky with what I want and had high expectations in terms of my needs and expectations for my next car. So, add in a car shortage and a pandemic, I really wasn't expecting this to go smoothly. This was my first time purchasing an Acura and I am confident in saying that I will continue to work with this dealership and stay with Acura. BUT to completely honest, what really made this process a breeze was Philip at Acura of WestChester. From the first moment of working with him, the entire process was easy, it was a breeze and for the first time, actually a fun and enjoyable experience. Philip is very personable while also being very professional. He worked hard in getting me exactly what I wanted and didn't just pass me off to other dealerships which is usually what I experience. He is extremely knowledgeable, responsive and professional. As someone who has been a manger in sales for multiple years, I was extremely impressed and cannot stress enough how helpful and wonderful it was working with him. As a young guy, he exceeded my expectations and definitely has a successful future ahead of him. I am beyond happy with my car. The day of, he had everything ready so that we were in and out! The financial advisor we worked with at the end of the process was also very pleasant. There were no hidden fees, no push back and no sudden price change when it came to the paperwork which is what I've experienced in past dealerships. It felt as if I was already a long time customer who had known the staff. I will 100% recommend this dealership and especially for you to work with Philip. I can promise you, you will leave a happy customer with him and the process will be smooth and easy. Because of Philip, I will now be a long time customer and will recommend family and friends to Acura of WestChester!
