Thin/Fine Haircut, no color
Priscilla F.

I have fine, thin hair. Sometimes I would wake up disliking my forehead, unsure if my hairline looked receding or not. Now I love my hair even without bangs. Glad I found a place that knows what to do!

Miranda always does a wonderful job with my hair. I chopped of inches of my hair myself and she added a nice curtain bang and layers and it looks so good. She's so very sweet!

I recently had my hair colored elsewhere and it was nothing at all that I wanted. I was very upset and Caroline was able to fit me in on the same day. She took the time to listen to what happened and came up with a good plan to get my hair back to where I like it. So thankful for her time and skill!

Lobby--yes, those are cookies in that beautiful "beauty & the beast" cloche

Great hair cut and therapy session! I moved to the area more than a year ago and haven't been a huge fan of the other nice salons: Triniti, Alter Ego. My default is to always hate my hair after the salon. It's a chronic joke that I will never like it. This has proven untrue after my cut and styling with Caleb. Thank you Caleb, for a wonderful style. You took my complicated request and made it a reality. Seriously: I had a long, asymmetrical bob and *grew* tired of it so I'm growing it out. Problem with this transition is that I don't want the awkwardly long pieces in the front and way shorter in the back. Cute when it was a bob--not so much anymore. Caleb trimmed the ends so I'm left with healthy hair and reduced the front so it's more of a gradual transition. I still have layers and lots of movement without having the treaded "triangle" hair that many ladies with thick hair dread. A million thanks, Caleb! You've got a new regular client! Next time, I'm getting these dark tresses colored. Stay tuned!

I was at the salon today and had a consultation and then had my extremely curly hair cut and blown dried by Amy. It was my first time at the salon. Amy understands curly hair. It's very difficult to find a stylist that does. I give her my highest recommendation. Make your appointment now.

Trendy styling job! I'm looking good! My dog can't even take his eyes off me!

$42 for cut and style. The styling was so trendy and well done. The products used and sold were top quality, light (didn't weigh down my hair), and not oily. My stylist was so kind and honest with his advice for a new curling iron and potential color to help ease my growing out color (going back to black). Great customer service at the front. I was offered water or coffee upon entering. I could easily book online and was reminded of my appointment through text.

I have only got services to upkeep my Balayage, so I am prepared to pay. I like that they greet you (a front-desk area with things to purchase), offer you a beverage (champagne or beer), hot coffee, tea, juice or water. They have great stylists, and a room in the back for hair washing, drying and just spa-like relaxation. Make your appointment on their website and get ready to be pampered!

At scheduling time, the receptionist was very nice and worked with me to find a time that fits schedules well. I was scheduled with Michaela for a Halo face framing type situation and was greeted very kindly by her and everyone else at the front desk. They offer you water and other beverages there as you arrive. There is also local crafted jewelry in the sitting area to browse. Getting back to hair, Michaela was very personable, funny, nice, and professional. The experience was nice and it feels like you're just chatting with an old friend. Honestly I probably chat too much but the story of my life LOL. They take you back to the hair washing area which is quiet and Serene, ready for relaxation. They also offer you and I mask type essential oil situation where you can pick different scents. After your hair is done washing you get processed and then you go back to your sitting area. It took a little bit to get my hair to the desired look but Michaela and the salon made it very easy to work with and get the results we were hoping for. I appreciate them for being so accommodating and ease of everything. Michaela is a great stylist and I would recommend booking with her anytime! Not only will she make your hair look better but just speaking with her makes your day better too.

Tried 2 other Korean barber shops in the Triangle (Hair News and Miss Kim's), and Scissorhands…read more(Andy) clearly provides the best service but compared to the other 2, it's also the most expensive, which is enough reason for me to alternate between the 3 aforementioned Korean barber shops. Scissorhands is my family's favorite with my two younger brothers regularly getting haircuts here. Andy is not as friendly as Miss Kim in Morrisville, but we recently had a nice conversation about the Korean language since I just started studying it. The cut was masterful, for sure, and followed the example I showed in a photo saved in my phone. Shampoo was included at no additional cost and I did not have to wait in my latest visit around Friday noon. I used to pay around $30 to $35 for a regular men's cut but the latest service, Andy charged me $40 (not including tips). As for the atmosphere, it's more spacious than their old location (where they shared space with other salons) but it's not as spacious as Hair News. Nonetheless, it's in a good location by High House Road, close to Cici's Pizza, a small Walmart market, and just less than 5 minutes drive away from HMart.

Came in 10 mins before my appointment and got seated right away. The lady who cut my hair was so sweet and precise, and she asked me a bunch of questions about what I wanted. I let her have a lot of freedom, and it looked great in the end! It was a longer appointment than I expected, but she was very detailed. It ended up being $70 which is pretty expensive in my opinion for just a woman's haircut. If you don't mind paying a hefty price, you should come here.
