I would not recommend this salon based on their poor customer service, particularly from Sharon and Allison. If there was a zero star option I would have given zero star There is no mention of their cancellation policy on the Bebe Ellis website, yet they charged a $100 cancellation fee when my daughter accidentally went to the wrong Aveda salon in Apex due to feeling slightly under the weather. She called Bebe Ellis immediately after realizing the mix-up, yet they refused to show any flexibility with cancellation fees They did offer for her to come in a little later but said she would have to leave with wet hair -- which wasn't a reasonable option considering she wasn't feeling well. I also called the salon to explain the situation and request a waiver of the fee, but they were dismissive and unhelpful. Despite our honest mistake and immediate communication, we were still charged the full amount. This kind of rigid and unsympathetic customer service leaves a very poor impression, and I would not return or recommend them to others. Policies are important, but so is customer care -- and in this case, that was clearly lacking. Will never return back to this salon. read more

Beware!!!! Terrible service. Cancelled my first appt and put me a different person. She did not cut my hair like I told her. ALSO THEY CHARGED ME EXTRA TO USE MY CREDIT CARD!! $1.92. Amy & Sue are fantastic. They have done really good work for my husband and I. We have both had issues with how the management has ran their business. Our recent visit went like this: After several poor experiences with other stylists in the salon, my husband saw Sue, she was awesome. He came back, one of the previous stylists decided it was ok to corner Sue and gossip about her previous experience. The problem we had with her was her poor consult skills resulted in a poor cut and even poorer attempt to fix it. The gossip was not a misunderstanding as Sue's demeanor had changed when she came back to finish up his cut. My experience was that 2 week prior I had been called to change my appointment. A little under a week prior I was called again, I let them know I couldn't and apologized for not returning the first call She said she'd make a few notes so they wouldn't bother me again. It was great!!!! Until I got a call the day before my appt asking again if I could move it. One of the requests was to move it 30min ahead. I informed them, again, that no, I cannot move my appt and made it clear that I was a little annoyed at being asked again. They explained they were trying to squeeze someone in and trying to make room, but no problem and sorry about that. Guess what happened? I got there and my stylist was busy until about 5, my appt was 30 min late. My poor stylist has no idea anything at all had been going on, and did her best to smooth over a very upset me without also trying to make excuses and save the salon's backside. I really really appreciated it. I felt lied to and she felt blind sided. I'll miss you Amy!! read more

I just moved to the area about a month or so ago and I was in desparate need of a haircut. With a lot of research I found this lovely salon. Very clean, bright and inviting. Not to mention the little plaza where BeBe Ellis is located is very new and chic. My hair is crazy curly, about a 3B/3C on the curly scale (curly girls know what this means), so it needs a special touch to get it just right. Luckily for me there was Marisol, the curly hair syling queen! She knew just what to do to make my curls my crowning glory. Not to mention an easy style on a crazy morning. She made my several months old highlights shine and accentuate each individual curl. My cut and style wasn't too short, nor too long, it was just perfect. All the girls at BeBe's were super professional and very welcoming. Marisol is my new favorite go-to-girl for my hair. This is were my family (husband and two boys) will come to get out hair done. read more

Owner is Beyond unprofessional and if you have an issue she sides with her team and does not care to listen to the customer's point of view and then uses words like berated to try to scare you out of fighting back.. Outside of the crappy management the salon is very over priced. The stylist I used was great but again not worth dealing with such catty and unprofessional behavior and paying for over priced services. Update based on owners response I think it speaks for itself first untruthful I never berated her or her front desk I tried to ask if they could instead fix the issue on their end instead of inconveniencing the customer by charging me twice and expecting me to wait a week to get the funds back. She continued to interrupt me and talk over me so I asked her multiple times if she could please let me talk. She did not ban me from the salon although tried to cancel my appt and I asked her why as I was simply trying to get my money back after they double charged me and I have no issues with the stylist. She said it was fine and I had a appt for this Friday 1/13 but called and cancelled it this morning as I thought about how I was treated and didn't want to encounter such unprofessionalism again. I was only banned after she read this review and replied to it telling me I am banned via through the review. Banning a customer who had a poor experience instead of apologizing and then telling them you have called authorities because they gave you a poor review based on their poor experience wow.. again I think this says ALOT about this owner. Now she wants to use defamation to try to slander my character- lies and defamation will get you a lawsuit. Please grow up and stop harassing your ex customers who had a poor experience and shared it on yelp. Lastly when I asked her to not charge me twice as I can't afford it she said oh just use one of your other cards as you have more then one on file.. I was like wow you are so privileged to assume I have all sorts of credit cards to use and quite frankly its none of your business.. Never charge the customer twice and expect them not to want their money back or fix it on your end to not inconvenience your customers. I went here for the first time in June 2021 (after our long-time stylist retired during covid) and had a fine experience. While I was there I spoke to my stylist about doing my daughter's hair when she came back to visit in July.  I showed the stylist pics of my daughter and explained what she wanted done.  She went and spoke to someone and came back with a price quote ($90 which seemed low but it was only half of her head that was being dyed so I didn't really question it). And she wrote down the color and trim my kid would need and I handed it to the front desk staff who made the appointment.  Unfortunately, that stylist quit before her appointment.  When my daughter arrived they said they didn't have enough time to trim her hair and dye it (unless she wanted them to skip doing her very pandemic-long roots). what?!?! They ended up doing both but the dye just was horrible.  They admitted they had done it on wet hair when it should have been done on dry.  It was the blue she wanted but a lot of her original blond showed through.  They actually sent her home with dye to fix it herself!  The cut was very uneven too.  and the total was $230 not $90-which would have been fine if they did a decent job. They called to ask how it went and I said "not well".  They said the owner would call to talk to me about it but I ended up having to call again.  My daughter's phone didn't allow us calls only facetime audio so I ended up being the one who did all of the communication despite my daughter being 21.  The owner finally managed to make an appointment to try to fix the issues.  THEY DIDNT!  She had asked for turquoise color, which they provided the first time.  The "fix" ended up being such a dark blue that it looks black unless in direct sunlight.  They also chopped her hair into what could not possibly be considered an actual style.  Of course we won't be going back. Great cut - descent price! Had a cut and color after two years of not going to a salon during covid. My stylist was Ariel. Very sweet and personable. I was actually late and in a tizzy Frame of mind. Love this place. Went only once so I hope it stays great on my next visits. Receptionist and stylist were great. My only concern is the covid fee (I don't think it is necessary to charge clients for an establishment's hygiene and sanitation practices). No other place ever charged that. read more
