Walked in here without an appointment to get my eyebrows waxed. They were very friendly and one of the women working there stopped her lunch to do it. I told her she didn't need to do that but she was very nice and said it was no problem. They came out great and she got them perfect the first try. The best thing was there was no wax residue afterwards, it seems other places I go seem to always leave a little that I notice later. read more

Pretty disappointed. After researching a stylist for color, I made an appointment here. When I arrived, the stylists reluctantly came out of the back room to greet me. No refreshments were offered, not a big deal, I've been probably been spoiled in the past. The stylist barely listened to what I wanted, didn't offer any suggestions when asked, and just mixed color and applied. That I can deal with because she did offer to fix what I didn't like and charged me a lower rate. What I couldn't deal with, was the how cheap the chemicals were. I smelled ammonia or something for days after my color, and my hair is so dry now! If you're thinking about going here, I'd reconsider. read more

I went here to get foil highlights and at first I thought they looked great. Then after she did them again I started noticing in the back that I had pieces of hair that had completely broken off. Then after I moved away from CT, my new hair stylist noticed how damaged it was and told me. Now I've had to go back to a color close to my natural color, and I even see the horrible damage she has done. My hair used to be thick and now it's thin and I can't do anything with it. I've also had to chop off all of my long hair because of how unhealthy it looked. I realize if I'm dying it, it should be a little damaged, but not to the point where I can't do a single thing with it. Don't go here. I don't know about the other hairdressers and didn't want to give any names, but the girl I went to completely fried my hair. read more

Finally decided it was time for me to get my hair chopped off. I got it cut at another salon but then decided I wanted it shorter - the other salon was closed so I went to salon q. Katie did a great job of cutting a long bob for me - we debated cutting it shorter but did not. I decided to go back a week later and Katie cut my hair into a great stacked bob free of charge- love my new haircut- service and styling were great for very reasonable prices. Been seeing Amber here since FOREVER. Probably right after she got out of school. I actually remember her facebook post saying she got the job. She's amazing. I have gotten a haircut here before and Katie did an amazing job! She took her time and was so friendly. However, I went to get my hair done for prom here and I wanted big voluminous curls with a braid on the side...I showed the girl the picture and she said she could do it. She wasn't even paying attention to the curls she was doing she even said "these curls are getting so boring." she did not curl my hair the way I wanted her too. Then she did a braid in the wrong place...it looked so awful and honestly I could have done what she did at home. It looked so bad and I payed $65 for shitty curls that didn't even stay throughout the night. Every girl wants to look beautiful for there prom and that hairstyle was anything but beautiful. Would never go here again to get my hair done for prom. read more

Eww. This was not up to what I expected. Went for a haircut and the service was less than average, no offer to put my things up do I had to dump them on the hair strewn floor without any direction. The haircut was also below average. The hairdresser obviously took no pride in her work and asked if it was done after making my hair look like a frizzy mess. No product used or styling done. I hoped to walk out of the salon looking like I had taken time to do my hair but left with a pony worthy look. My husband summed it up succinctly by equating it to a SuperCuts experience, which would be fine if that's all you want read more
