Wow. All I can say is wow (and not the good kind of wow). Where do I even begin... I had an appointment with Hailey on Tuesday 3/12. I guess you could say it all started going wrong while she was washing out the color. She was mentioning that she had a haircut and could send me home with wet hair and I told her sorry I can't really hear you with this water in my ears... she said that she had a haircut appointment but could send me home with wet hair or I could wait to get it blown dry. I told her I wanted to see my hair dry before I left, so she said okay I have to finish my haircut and then we will dry your hair. After waiting an hour, she was finally ready to finish me. When I sat in the chair and looked in the mirror I mentioned I was a bit concerned with how gold it looked and asked if it was just because it's wet. She started to blow dry the front pieces and they turned out to be fine. After she was done she said bye and disappeared. Never handed me a mirror to look at the back, didn't toss my hair around to show dimension, never asked again that I was happy. I went to check out and to my surprise, the price was higher than what I had booked for online. I voiced my concern and the front desk girl offered to go get Hailey so I could talk to her directly, however, the desk girl came back with no Hailey. Hailey told her she charged me for toner and blow dry and that it wasn't included and that's why it was more. I asked for her to come to talk to me but she would not. At this point I had been there for over 4 hours and was furious. As soon as I got home and looked closer at my hair, I saw the disaster. My roots were gold. I face timed my cousin who said I looked like I had gold spray paint on my roots. The pictures attached are from not even an hour after leaving the salon. I hoped that if I showered it would look better... maybe something was still there that shouldn't? I called on Thursday morning 3/14 after giving it 24 hours. I asked for a manager, the guy said he was, and after explaining my story said he would have to talk to the owner and have her call me. She returned my call Wednesday 3/21, after I had called a second time on 2/20 almost a week after I first called and voiced concern and over a week after my appointment. The owner was probably now the best part... she told me that online when you book, the prices show "Starting at". Please see screenshots below which do NOT say starting at but just show a set cost. She also said that the toner is part of the service but the reason the prices show "starting at" (but they don't, photos attached). She also said that the blow dry was an added service. She did not offer to correct my hair, she did not offer to reimburse me, she only argued with me. I mentioned how I felt that Hailey should've said you need toner and it'll be an extra $20 is that okay, and that I thought it was shady and not transparent. Kristen, the owner, then said well did you ask how much it was?............... In summary, if you want to go to a place that will just add services without you knowing they are added, this is your place. If you want gold blonde instead of white blonde, this is your place. If you want to speak with the owner and feel disrespected and unappreciated as a customer, this is your place. If you want a salon that cares about their customers, is honest and works hard to provide a great service, this is NOT your place.

Hailey is the color master! I have been seeing Hailey for a little over a year now, and I don't ever want anyone else to do my hair! When I first went to see her she knew exactly how to fix my blonde and make it what I wanted. Hailey is so talented and I trust her so much with my hair! I brought my mom to see Hailey to fix her hair up and Hailey was able to listen to what my mom wanted and delivered perfectly! If you are looking for the perfect color, especially the perfect blonde, you need to head to Salon O Sixty Five and see Hailey!

Update: still amazing. Hailey is amazing and so creative and talented. Leslie and Kristin are just superior. Responsive to all their clients. Professional and respectful. Salon 065 rocks and I mean it. I've been going to Kristin for about 3 years. She and her team are creative, fun to spend time with and always give the customer the right cut & color. I recently got my bob cut off to a short shag and Kristin did it exactly right. She won't just do what you say and will suggest options based on your hair texture. Her assistants are so talented. The salon is beautiful and not loud. You feel relaxed and confident knowing you will walk out and want to show off your new do. Two thumbs up for men & women, and all atyl

This was my first time at Salon O Sixty-Five and i will 100% be coming back, especially for Hailey to do my hair. The salon itself is really beautiful, very clean and fresh looking. The mirrors have great lighting so you don't have to stare at yourself in unflattering light for hours, which I always appreciate at a salon. Everyone I encountered was really friendly and they offer complimentary tea or coffee. Hailey did my hair, and she is absolutely amazing. She listened to what I wanted and made it better than I even imagined. I haven't had a life-changing haircut/color ever, but I felt so beautiful after she worked her magic! She did a balayage on me with olaplex (which prevents hair damage!) and toned me with purple shampoo and the result was natural looking honey-wheat dimension throughout my hair. She also cut me long bangs that I can wear parted and they are so cute!! I will definitely be coming back for Hailey's services!

First I will start with what was good…read more 1. The dye job ended up beautiful. I came in with pretty unclear instructions and reference photos and both the stylist and the owner were able to figure out what fit my needs. This seems to be a huge strength here. 2. They were able to fit me in last minute. What was bad 1. The total time listed online was 1.45 hours, the service ended up taking 2.45 hours. I have been to many salons and never had my hair take that long, especially when I was getting all over color and a blowout (no haircut). Perhaps this was due to me booking last minute. However, the website booking made it look wide open and I think it is the responsibility of the salon to accurately represent their booking capability. I would not have booked with them had I known what experience was to follow. 2. The salon overall seemed overbooked and people were bouncing around. Three different people worked on my hair. Personally, I really didn't like this set up. I like to build a relationship with my stylist and this hectic atmosphere was not synonymous with that 3. The blowout I had was so uncomfortable. The rollers were tangled up in my hair and I could feel it ripping out as the stylist took them out. I have never have a blowout be so painful. My hair had so many split ends after I looked in the mirror at home. 4. My hair fell the moment I stepped outside. Granted it was a windy day, but my hair doesn't typically fall that fast. I think this may have been due to the stylist rushing at the end. On one hand I'm glad she did because I had been sitting alone for quite some time, but on the other hand I paid for essentially nothing. My old stylist back home (moved cross country) had no problem giving me a blowout that lasted at least a few hours. Even on windy days. 5. At one point the owner took my stylist in the back and seemed to be scolding her. This is never something a new client wants to see. I immediately felt anxious that something had gone wrong with my hair color. It ended up great but tbh experience was awkward and handled strangely in my opinion. 6. Finally. The price came out to $260 for all over color and a blowout. I wouldn't mind this price if it wasn't for the lackluster experience. Hair salons are charging luxury prices without offering luxury experiences. The pricing structure is also strange. They charge $60 extra for toner but I have never had a color job that didn't need toner to look good. It feels strange to not include it all together. The toner charge was added after which was a surprise because toner has always been included in the price. To be clear, the website did ask if I wanted to add toner for $60. I thought that was for someone coming in looking just to tone and not add more color. Perhaps this was my mistake but I found the whole pricing structure strange. A few other things to note: water was offered but never given and they only accept cash/zelle/venmo tips. Overall this salon was not a fit for me. A lot of this is subjective preference but I think it's important that people understand what environment they are paying for when they sign up to spend hundreds. That being said, the color was beautiful and I am grateful for that.

I cannot say enough good things about Lira Hair Salon. I came in after a disastrous visit to a…read moreso‑called "blonde specialist" who completely ruined my hair while trying to take me from brunette to blonde. My hair was damaged, uneven, and honestly I was scared to try again. Lira changed everything. She not only helped me achieve the blonde I originally wanted, but she did it in a way that protected my hair and brought it back to life. My color looks beautiful, natural, and exactly how I envisioned it. Even better--my hair is actually growing back and feeling healthy again. Lira is truly a master of her craft. She listens, she cares, and she knows exactly what she's doing. If you're thinking about going blonde or need someone to fix a color gone wrong, she's the one you want in your corner. Absolutely worth every visit.

I usually see Emad for my cut, color, and blowout, and he is SO kind and incredibly talented. He's truly the best hairstylist I've ever been to. My blowouts last for days, which is why I always book with him before trips. It saves me from worrying about styling my hair or packing my Dyson. I've also referred several friends, and they are just as obsessed with Emad and the team as I am. Everyone I've encountered at the salon has been so professional and kind. I also wanted to add, in response to a Yelp review mentioned below, that I've personally never encountered a language barrier with any of the staff. But if you do, tools like Google Translate on your phone can make communication easy. You really can't go wrong with this place!

I love the vibrant red color he created and my shorter cut has so much bounce and frames my face perfectly. I'm so happy with the result! I'm thrilled I found my new salon in my new city. Jay is fantastic too. Emad created/mixed the hair color and Jay applied it, and washed my hair and got me ready for the haircut. She is so nice and I really enjoyed our conversation. Beautiful and spacious salon. Welcoming atmosphere and positive vibes.
