I been going to this salon for several years . My Amazing colorist Janelle moved out of area so I went to Heather Hargett at Main Street Salon . My experience was horrible. I paid 140 plus tip for a full head. I asked her to keep it like it was, slices of Blonde and Low Lights and the rest weaved . I have attached pictures to show you what I was left with . After she put me under dryer Heather asked me if Janelle used a base cap on me and I said no! She texted Janelle to ask and she said no I do slices and weave thru out the rest . Heather then told me she only did weave so she needed to do a base cap on me . I tried for several weeks to get back in to get it fixed and what I paid for. She then went on about how she is afraid to due to integrity of my hair. WHAT ? She wasn't concerned when I came in and she did my hair her way and took my 140.00. Then I asked for my money back so I could get it fixed she said she doesn't do refunds . She had a small opening after weeks of trying to get in with her to put a few foils in . As you can see in the pictures my roots are as if I never got them done . The base cap she put in was only applied on top of my head . These pictures were taken by another Hair Tech telling me to go back to her and get my money. I still have not received any not even half my money from Heather Hargett attached is photos of the amount of roots left in hair when I paid for Full. As to Heather response this is not true, I had one of my family members there . If you are going to put an out and out lie it just says more about your character and the integrity of your work . We just moved to Temecula this past summer and like a lot of people, I struggled to find a place and a stylist that I liked and connected with. That resulted in me going 9 months without doing a thing to my hair. With a big birthday right around the corner, I decided it was time to try again. Did a little research and stopped by Main Street Salon to see if I could book an appointment. I immediately felt comfortable when Lindsay (Lockrey) greeted me and asked how she could help me. She was sweet, accommodating and scheduled me for just a couple days later. I just left the salon and I couldn't be happier! Lindsay was amazing. She knew exactly what look I was trying to achieve, cut my damaged ends without drastically changing anything and spent time showing me how to style it. She also recommended various products and offered to be available via phone or text whenever I need her. Awesome customer service! The price was extremely reasonable and the salon was clean and inviting. I have a feeling all of the staff is are great but I highly recommend Lindsay! Not only do I have a new stylist, but I feel like I also have a new friend! Thank you again! I highly recommend Jordan. I have curly hair. It is so hard to find a stylist who knows how to work with it. I damaged it through coloring and relaxing it over the years. It became dry and brittle. I thought I would have to chop it all off and start over. I mentally prepared myself to do so. Jordan did a deep conditioning and trim, maintaining the length . My hair has never felt more amazing, what she did was magic.....and I walked away with some amazing new hair products. Really disappointed right now. When Mariah was first taking care of my natural hair, her colouring skills made her deserve a 5 star rating. The styling of the hair was never her strongest point, though. Every time I came out I looked like a mushroom. I hate hairs that are "puffy" on top, and stringy at the bottom. I thought maybe with time I could convey to her that I did not like that. Disappointment #1. One year later, every time I walked out of there I was unhappy about it, with her telling me that when I slept on it the hair would not look like that in the morning. Lie. After a while I decided to do some extensions. Mariah suggested a certain type of tape-in extensions that would not harm my hair. Cool. She mentioned that the maintenance would involve the repositioning of the extensions every 16 weeks, approximately. Cool. That would not impact my 8 week dying maintenance. Cool. I put them on in February, the Thursday before Valentine's Day. 8 weeks later, for my coloring appointment, I had to take all the extensions out and reposition them, because one on the back of my head was visible all the time. That salon trip cost me an extra $200. I was not happy about it, but figured that as long as the mistake was fixed, it was all good. Disappointment #2. Now, 20 days after, another extension is visible. Yet again. I convey how upset I am about having this problem once again, and instead of offering me a solution, she says that we're not in the same page, and she is going to refer me to another stylist in the salon. What? I explain that I don't think it's fair for me to have to foot another $200 tab to have her mistake fixed by somebody else. And what does she reply? Nothing. Not one word. Disappointment #3. Never EVER going back. read more

Okay, seriously the best hair salon I've been to. Not only do they have the best costumer service, but they also have soda, water, coffee, or wine for their beverages. Yes I said wine! My current hairstylist is Kayla B, and she's great! She's super easy to talk to, and she fully talks to you about what you want to do to your hair. I got my balayage with her, and it turned out amazing! I've never been more happy coming out of a salon! I got multiple comments about my hair, and many of them asked me where I got my hair done. Yes it's in Temecula. And yes it's a long drive, especially if you're in San Diego. But, it's definitely worth it! This post is not to bad mouth anyone however I was extremely disappointed in the color I received from Michael Lisa. First off my hair is covered in spots, I look like a leopard, she missed color all over the place. The underside of my hair was not touched at all and my hair goes from dark brown to orange and looks sloppy and dirty. She seemed to be very rushed while she was doing it. I asked for my money back because I obviously don't feel comfortable having her do it again and she refused. I've now wasted over $350 getting it fixed because it was such a major color correction. I came in here yesterday to see Amerie with a Groupon for a cut & color for $52. It says on the Groupon an additional fee may apply depending on hair length. Amerie charged me an extra $40 for my hair length. My hair is long so I knew she would charge me around $15-$20 like most salons do for color, but certainly not $40. That's almost the amount I paid for the Groupon. I called the salon after and asked them if they normally charge extra for length and they said no it's always $120 for all over color and cut always. Next thing I noticed is the top side of my forehead had a ton of color dye on it that wasn't wiped off. I had to go to my sons school after so I tried to wipe it off with a napkin and it wouldn't come off.. so embarrassing. I also asked for a dark brown all over color. At first when I saw my hair after she blew dry it I knew it was dark, but once I got in the car I saw how dark it really was. It literally looks straight black. Way too harsh for my skin tone. Hopefully after a few washes, the color will soften up. Amerie was nice so that's why I gave two stars but for the amount I paid for the cut and color, I won't be back to see her. read more

One of the worst experiences my hair has ever encountered, a living nightmare with BREANA. It's my understanding a new hair dryer was being used on my simple process of highlights.. however after 42 minutes of heat, my hair was falling out when it was being washed. Even worse the hairstylist was trying to hide the evidence. If you don't want one of those "OMG crying... my hair is all falling out" moments DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! Do not use BREANA! She's supposed to be one of the "colorist" at the salon, but with my experience, I would have to disagree! No stars would not be enough for the years it will take to grow my hair back or the burning my scalp had for a week. Be very careful about who you choose to do your hair. read more

When I first went to Mariah, I literally, had a mullet. I had been box dying and bleaching my hair for awhile. Most hairstylist constantly reminded me of how terrible the condition of my hair was, or just made me feel very uncomfortable, even though I was fully aware of the condition of my hair, It always made me feel embarrassed. So Mariah Held has been taking care of my beautiful hair for the past 8+ months and I first came in with nasty bleached red hair that I did myself and I could never reach the back so I literally had red hair in the front and brown hair in the back! After the color correction she then installed 16 inch extensions in which I literally felt like a beautiful mermaid. From that point on I fell in love with Mariah's work! Every time I left the salon I was LEGITIMATELY HAPPY. My hair smelt so effing good, it was super soft and the color was vibrant... I actually ALWAYS get compliments on my hair in which I happily gave out Mariah's business cards because people NEED Mariah in their life seriously!!!! Not only does Mariah make you and your hair beautiful, she actually connects with her clients and builds relationships. I can tell her things and she can tell me things as if we knew each other forever!! She brings you either compliments of lovely mint tea which she knows is my fav or water and even wine if you're 21! Which I'm not (20) lol but I am fine with my tea. When she washes your hair it smells so good and she even gives you (in my opinion) the best head and neck massage! Anyway my point is I never trusted anyone with my hair, I was actually hesitant at first to go to Mariah due to traumatic past experiences.. But after looking through her work on Instagram and even checking out the reviews on here I finally came to the conclusion that, " YEP I WILL GO TO HER!!" I never regretted it. Those who ever think Mariah is not a good hairstylist you need JESUS LOLOLOLOL!!! Or a slap in the face, I will slap you myself LOL! I'm moving to Texas so I had Mariah take out my extensions because I will NOT let anyone touch my extensions unless it is Mariah! I even came back just before I left a week ago so she can revive my hair color and I could look like a beautiful mermaid in the Lone Star state,Texas. I honestly wish I could have tipped her more but I was trying to save as much money possible for the move. She's the best hairstylist, and friend!
