I started going to a Salon Midi almost 2 years ago. I desperately needed a massage and the chiropractor next door recommended them. (I didn't even realize they offer massages!!!). Scheduling an appointment was easy and the receptionist was very helpful. The place is conveniently located in the plaza with Holidays and Tom's...in the Town of Fox Crossings. Salon Midi is an Aveda salon so the entire place smells amazing! There are 2 massage rooms in the back with dim lights and relaxing spa music. My deep tissue, 90-minute massage was with Sally. I can honestly say that it was THE BEST massage that I have EVER had! It was so good, in fact, that I referred my best friend to Sally and now she's hooked! Sally is very professional and kind, and gives the most incredible massages. Their prices are great, too! I highly recommend checking out Salon Midi to see what I am talking about. I discovered this absolutely lovely gem of a salon about 3 years ago when I messed up my hair with a home boxed kit. Jamie is amazing. I love her input and trust her to help me get the look I really want. The ambience of the salon is so.relaxing and I truly enjoy my day at the salon. I don't treat myself much but when it comes to my hair I decided that I'm definitely worth it. I was surprised to receive a generous gift card from my son (yep he picked it up all by himself) and daughter in law as a birthday gift. Jamie - you are a gifted stylist. My sister and I had an excellent time at this salon. She was married this past Saturday, and the entire bridal party had their hair and makeup done at the salon. Salon Midi is a beautiful salon. Clean, upscale, relaxing, and since it is an Aveda salon, it smells amazing and has great product. We were treated very well, and since it was such a special day for my sister, it was great to start it off feeling pampered and relaxed. I was very happy with my hair and makeup. They did exactly what I asked for, and also worked with the younger bridesmaids so they looked adorable and had what they wanted for hair and makeup. And, of course, the bride looked beautiful!! I had the pleasure of visiting Salon Midi twice during a short-term work assignment in Neenah, WI. The salon is located in an easy-to-find retail complex that offers plenty of parking. The salon itself is clean, updated, and offers a wide range of products from Aveda and others. Julie was my stylist on both occasions, and I received basic trims each time (at a great price point). She was kind, highly knowledgeable, and provided a great experience (not to mention, the scalp massage was phenomenal!) Every staff member I encountered was extremely friendly and professional. I have been going to Salon Midi for over 2 years for haircuts and waxing. I first chose it because of it was close to my house. When we moved further away, I continued because of the excellent service and atmosphere. Laurie really listens to what your desires are and is friendly and professional. I recently moved to the area, and Salon Midi is less than a mile from my home so I thought I'd give it a try. LOVED IT! Convenient hours, relaxing atmosphere, competitive prices, friendly staff. Chris did an amazing job with my hair, it's the first time I've ever walked out of a salon completely and totally satisfied. I followed my favorite stylist of many years, Chris, to this salon. The salon's new management in 2013 is attracting the most talented stylists from throughout the Fox Valley. Alterations to the space are in progress to improve flow and maximize client relaxation. Salon Midi is staffed with very accomplished, experienced stylists who are sensitive to the client's needs and desires. The stylists artfully blend current knowledge of style trends and use of Aveda products, with sensitivity to what works for a particular client. I would not recommend. I went in for foils as I grow out grey hair-some silver some salr and pepper. I asked for 2 colors to blend in. I got platinum. That was it. I walked out with horrible outgrowth after paying $100. A friend saw me abd had the same reaction. It's bad. I cancelled a job interview because of this and rwturned to have it corrected. I'm a former haiedresser so the stylist insulted me repeadtedly asking me if i could understand what she was explaining. She said she could add some darker foils for another $70! I'm going to buy color and fix it myself like i should have done in the first place. I also contacted my credit card company which will remove the $100 charge for me! read more
