I am so happy I found George and would highly recommend him to others for color, color correction for severe regrowth lines, and hair extensions recovery. George is an incredible master stylist. He communicates really well to make sure what you want done. He helped me to correct the harsh regrowth color line I had after months of lockdown and made it look so natural and pretty I could have just grown out my hair because I mentioned wanting to do that. He did the color lifting of my fine hair so delicately there was no damage and it took a few weeks for the color to gradually lift even more. Then he recommended an Aveda shampoo which makes my hair look so much better. He also offered to add a few highlights after we see how the hair lifted after a few weeks. When I went back after a few weeks, he expertly added a few face framing highlights, left it the perfect amount of time to get it a nice shiny warm highlight tone and I was amazed how great it looked. I'm the original visit, George also found that my last cut that was done by someone else was not done well. He showed me that when I put my chin down there were obvious steps down in the back that were really uneven. I was shocked. He made sure to correct my cut by moving my head through various angles so my cut would look good no matter what angle my head was at. The regrowth of my color was also something he had to correct because the intention of that previous color job was to allow me to regrow my hair after extensions and bleaching but the previous attempt by the other stylist wasn't looking very natural after months of lockdown. With George for both visits, I never experienced any burning scalp or itching with him lifting my color like I have with other hair stylists. He was really gentle in approach because I told him I wanted to grow my hair longer. In order to thoroughly preserve the new growth he was seeing at the crown, he actually teased all that hair back and did not lift color on that hair during the first visit. Seeing a stylist willing to take this extra step to preserve regrowth was brilliant and a method I had never heard of even after years of hair modeling. This regrowth I am experiencing is due to removing hair extensions and taking 4 Nutrafol women's hair vitamins a day religiously. Then for the highlights on the second visit, he did them about an inch out from the root which I think also helps to keep my hair strong and growing. I can't wait to go back and will bring others with me. He is so talented and charming. read more

I love George and Kim. My hair always looks amazing when I leave Salon Connection. I've always left this salon feeling more confident, beautiful, and like a rockstar!! I came to George and Kim with tears in my eyes and left with the biggest smile. George and Kim color corrected the clown red stripes tragically dyed in my brown hair when I asked a different salon for auburn red color all over. George and Kim fixed my hair and made me laugh throughout the entire process. They are such a cute and funny couple. Honestly, the only complaints I hear from other costumers going to Salon Connection is that the hairstylists will work on up to 4 people at one time & that blonde hair-dyes aren't George's strength. But I think George and Kim are AWESOME! They give people the most up-dated hairstyles with the most up-to-date techniques. Everyone I see coming out of Salon Connection looks amazing - and if you aren't satisfied or there was an obvious mistake, the salon is very accommodating. They fixed my hair! I had tried dying my own roots with a good over-the-counter brand, and my hair started to look like a really bad, unintentional, reverse ombré that looked horrible. I walked by Salon Connection after grocery shopping, and walked in to see if they had an opening. They were very honest and told me all the mistakes I made by trying to dye my own hair. Even though they told me the correct way to dye my roots, they did such a wonderful job fixing my hair by reversing the color, putting a new base color in, putting highlights in, and giving my a stylish cut, that I will only have them do my hair from now on. I receive so many compliments from people about my hair that I feel so confident and pretty. Kim and George are miracle workers. I have always been skeptical of professional hair coloring but I finally took the plunge and had my first balayage treatment ever at Salon Connection. They knocked it out of the park! My stylist Fariba was super attentive and made sure to check in with me throughout the process and explain why and how she was doing each part. I have blonde hair that is slowly getting darker and I wanted to achieve lighter highlights throughout and remove brassy tones. It is no easy task to make a blonde - more vibrantly blonde in a way that is noticeable, natural looking, and gorgeous. Fariba did just that! And she made sure that the roots were blended so I wouldn't get stark root lines as my hair grows. I get compliments all the time for my hair and I couldn't be more pleased. The owners are both very rude, I've never had bad service at a salon before. I will never go back. When the owner was doing my hair I told her how I wanted it and she said "tell me now if you're a pain in the ass". Who says that? She also quoted me 120 on the phone and once I got there she said it's 200. But I said I've never paid over 150 at any salon for my hair in fifteen years I've been getting my hair done.. so she said I'll give you a "deal" and made it 150. I wanted to have a Brazilian relaxer and a color but after looking at my hair .George insisted to do a Japanese one my hair are frizzy but not like African women and pass shoulder length , after the all process plus a keratin conditioner and $ 500 bucks my hair look so flat and over process ....George is a barber and nothing else he does not know anything about women of color . George and Kim are miracle workers, yes. This review is for Renee. She ruined my hair. I had her cut it a few times, ok. I usually get an air perm at a different salon. My hair is fine, fragile. Renee knew this, however, she talked of a different perm that does not cause damage. Not true, plus, when she rolled it she was not paying attention. She took forever, talking about herself. My hair dried while rolling. FRIED. I talked to George who wanted to help but when hair is fried, you have to cut it off. I had to cut it short. I have a wig-topper now, my hair is ruined. read more

My hair is now a platinum blond straw consistency after one visit here using George. It happened almost a month ago and has taken me this long to get over the shock. The ironic thing is when I went in, the sweet reception told me how "healthy" my hair was...sigh. He told me one thing in the consultation and took it completely out of orbit when done. I should have realized something was wrong when he called to his wife, and I quote, "I need some bleach..NOW!" And yes, I tipped him because he was standing over the counter pointing to where the tip finder was...grand price for ruined hair? $350.00!!!!!!! I had to drive to LV two weeks later to have my former hairdresser perform miracles to spin my straw hair into golden thread...which she has to do in stages because of the shape it is in - I wanted DARKER lowlights and nice highlights, only to get a full head of whitish/blond hair that feels and looks like straw. SO disappointed...He did say to me as I was still in the chair that my hair was "traumatized" and wanted me to come in two days later for a complementary conditioning!
