I left a previous review for Heather and Coco, but I wanted to leave a review from Melissa who does my hair extensions. I cannot say enough about what a fantastic job she has done with helping me regrow the sides of my hair. Unlike most women who have extensions for length, I got extensions to fill in patches of hair where I was experiencing hair loss, and that was on the sides of my head around my ears. I was forced to keep my hair short for years to cover for it, but with the help of Melissa and extensions, I can actually grow my hair long. Melissa consulted with me and how we could do it and make it look natural, she selected the right colors to fill in, and really she gave me back my confidence. I've been doing extensions with her for almost 2 years now. I started out with tape-in, and then she suggested that I try K tip for longevity and just for general wear and tear since I travel a lot for business. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. She makes my hair look very natural and and the way she cuts them makes them, you would never know that I had extensions. Not only is she a beautiful person inside and out, she's a miracle worker who has really helped me gain my confidence, learn how to do my hair again, and feel pretty and feminine. If I could give her 11 stars, I would! read more

I got K-tip extensions done here by Melissa and was really disappointed with how they turned out. The blend didn't look natural from day one, and within a month, the extensions looked noticeably worse. I shared photos with a few other professional stylists to get their opinion, and they were genuinely mortified by the blend. I also want to mention that I was charged for removal, which I wasn't expecting based on what I was initially told. I've had this service done before by another stylist, and the difference in quality was very clear. The salon itself is clean and the stylist was friendly, which is why I'm leaving 3 stars instead of 1, but I wouldn't return for extensions. read more

Love Melissa from Salon Locale, she is the best, truly. Ive gotten K tip extensions from her for the past twoish years and its perfect every time. Honestly she gets five million stars from me. Every time I go in, it's just good energy -- her style, her music, all of it. Her cuts are insane. Fresh, feminine, easy, they move so well, and they grow out better than anything I've ever had. Coco is phenomenal. As a curly haired girlie, it's very hard to find someone you can trust to cut without taking off too much length. I came to Coco wanting to grow my hair long and get it nourished and healthy. Now I am getting more continuous compliments on my hair (when I wear it both curly and straight) than I ever have in my 38 years of life. I am so lucky to have found this salon! read more

I just had the most amazing haircut experience! I showed Heather a picture and she looked at the photo through the service and transformed my hair. She's literally the Picasso of Hair! The salon has a great vibe and the staff is so friendly. The cut itself is perfect--stylish, fresh, and super easy to manage. Heather paid so much attention to detail, and I can honestly say it's the best haircut I've ever had. They also do cluster lashes there so I added them for the event I was going to and I LOVE them! This is THE place to be! Clean, bright, hip, relevant, and friendly, with skilled professionals and premium high end products. Scheduled an appointment with Heather, the owner of Salon Locale, and she knew exactly what I needed and wanted. Her apprentice, Coco, worked right along side her. Coco is certainly an asset to the team... shampooing, massaging, applying product no worries here you are in good hands. Heather cut and styled my hair to perfection. I'm embracing the natural elements of my grey hair color. Heather understands the aspects, texture, and challenges involved during the grey transition. Heather is talented and skilled at her craft, I was fortunate to have landed in her chair. I feel confident recommending Salon Locale, I had a most impressive visit. In fact I have already scheduled a future appointment. Give this place a shot! read more

Heather came to my rescue after 2 other hairstylists damaged my hair and color. I was nervous to try a third but she put me at ease, explained how she could lighten my hair and give me back the correct color! I'm so grateful. Both she and Coco her assistant really did an excellent, professional job. Heather is 5 star++ and the salon is clean and cheerful. read more

This salon is an amazing gem with a cute/unique vibe, friendly staff and high quality products! I needed a super last minute highlight touch up and took a chance by reaching out knowing I was not likely to get in anywhere same-day. To my surprise, Heather took me in that day after her last client to do my partial highlight ...I was super grateful and impressed as most businesses these days do not excel in this type of above/beyond customer service. On top of that, I'm a natural blonde, so I'm very particular about highlight coloring/tones ...It was apparent that Heather is an expert in her craft (especially blonde) as she did some of the best highlights I've ever had. She has won me over as a new client and I plan on recommending her/this salon to my friends and family, who are also blondies. read more

This review has been a long time coming. I desperately needed my hair fixed from a botched job that I had sadly done myself. I had a very important event the next day and Heather was so kind to squeeze me in at closing time on a Saturday. She is the most detail-oriented stylist I have ever seen. She kept working on every detail of my haircut until it was perfect. Her skills are unmatched. This was probably the best haircut I've had in years, and it still looks good 8 months later. Heather & the other stylist were friendly & warm. They greeted me with a smile despite the fact that I was keeping them there late. Love this place and its atmosphere. -Elaina read more
