I started going here in 2014! As a guy, we tend to be very loyal to whoever is cutting our hair. Even when we know we can get a cheaper cut or a better cut, we will remain loyal. Do not go here and see Lilly Dunbar. I went to her with full trust that she could help me with the top of my roots and sides of my hair that needed to be filled in but she completely ruined my hair with no empathy. I told her the night I got home that I wasn't happy with it after I curled it myself and saw chunks that did not match my hair.. I informed her how it felt inconsistent and me being the non-confrontational overly nice person I am I offered to pay the difference to get more done instead of fighting for her to fix it. I really did want it to be fixed but she tried to charge me an unfair amount to get more highlights added in when she did not properly space them out to begin with. I'm still waiting on the salon to call me back and hopefully resolve this somehow. They told me they would speak with her but all I was met with is her blocking me on instagram for expressing how sad I was over this. I will put the messages in here as proof that she is not good with customer service and will not tolerate if you don't like how your hair turned out.. super bummed and sad read more

I was skeptical when making an appointment at Salon Incognito. Even though, I had read all the positive reviews; However, I was not convinced. Other salons I have gone to also had positive reviews, yet the outcomes were not negative. Upon entering the Salon, I was immediately greeted by the Owner, and shown to a station in which Shannon was there to greet me and asked what I would like in terms of the haircut/styling outcome. She actually took the time to listen and confirm what I expected. Furthermore, she took her time creating what I wanted. The outcome was amazing; not to short (leaving my hair standing strait up or too long. Thus, my time was not wasted sitting in a chair by the front door waiting, nor I disappointed with the attention to getting it right and what I expected. Went down the box dye path during Covid and finally decided it was time to get out. I was nervous as I've been to hairdressers in the past who've acted like I committed mortal sin by using box dye but Lilly was so understanding and didn't make me feel bad at all. I admit I did see the other bad review before I went which made me a little nervous but I didn't have much to lose and I loved the results she has posted on her Instagram. So glad I went through with it because I LOVE my result. She was so thorough and careful and unlike some other more veteran hairstylists who overlap appointments I was her only client (and was able to get a quick Saturday appointment!) She was able to get my hair lighter and the color more evened out at the top. Sorry for the bad photo but this was before leaving to dinner with my husband that night and I'm not sure I'll be able to ever master the beautiful waves she created! I want to honor Meghan Churchill today! She totally transformed my drab looking hair to a totally vibrant color. I have been transitioning to silver (natural color) since August. I went in today not knowing what Meghan's plan was and feeling not so great about my current hair color. I allowed the element of surprise to truly surprise me! WORST EXPERIENCE in a salon I have ever had! Do not get your hair done at Salon Incognito for any holiday or special event. I had been coming to this salon for the past 8 years and then I ran into the worst, most disappointing hair drama.... I was going to a wedding in August. First, I got a bad haircut from one stylist who was clearly hungover from Memorial Day weekend. I was so unhappy that I decided to get extensions. That stylist refrred me to a different stylist in the same salon for extensions: Shannon. Shannon installed the extensions and they all slid out within a week. $1500 worth of hair! She attempted twice to " fix" the problem twice by putting pieces back in, but the hair would immediately brush out & slide out. Eventually, she said she should have used smaller beads on my hair,but then she wanted to charge me again for something she should have done in the first place.She told me she would issue a partial refund, but that has never happened. I really got screwed after being a long time loyal client. read more

I'm overly picky when it comes to my hair; I was desperately looking for a stylist today that can fix my hair which was messed up by another stylist 10 days ago. While I was strolling on yelp I found Sarah at this salon who truly made my day today. I'm smiling again! She is super sweet but most importantly she knows what she's doing. Customer service and a quality end product is what you expect when you go to a salon. I made an appointment for 5pm Then I get a call back from the salon, asking if we can push the time and that I could show up at 515 (I happily agreed,not a problem) I arrive and end up waiting a half hr past 5:15. When she started straightening my hair the rest of the experience felt rushed.... It wasn't till she said she was done(not expecting it to be done because it looked like crap/unfinished, not the clean cut I explained I wanted before she began chopping) and she didn't cut my bangs until I reminded her that i requested them to be done when I showed her images of the hair cut I wanted. She gave like a scoff as she was rushing to get back to her client before me. Needless to say it ended very unpleasantly. While I was there she wasn't apologetic at all. She did later call to apologize for me feeling rushed and offered for me to come back with my hair straightened and dry so that she could fix it. My only thing with that is why would i go back to someone who obviously is unskilled in the cut I requested and lacks customer service. No thank you, I'd rather not have my hair ruined a second time. Sometimes when there has been a mistake especially one like her letting me walk out of your salon looking like my hair was in a mow lawn we as unsatisfied customers just want to heard and understood to help for future customers. When I tried to explain why I was disappointed, during the call she seemed irritated "well I apologized" was her response cutting me short. I hope Liz was just having a bad day and doesn't try to fit every call in resulting in doing terribly with all who sit in her chair. read more
