Her hair wasn't really that long, but she had a devilock in the front. I thought it was pretty awesome, because come on, Misfits fan from the womb! But it got to the point where it was all over the place, all the time, and I was sick of comments about how she needed a haircut. So I did the logical thing and took her to a professional. HA, no. I used sewing scissors and cut it myself. This was a terrible decision for several reasons. I've never cut hair before, and after my first terrible go-through thought I could fix it. I couldn't. At this point I just grabbed her and brought her to great clips. Yeah, at some point it dawned me ' OHGOD,WHATDIDIJUSTDO' Which was also the first thing I said when I walked in the door. 10 minutes later, catastrophe fixed, and we were on our way. Her hairstylist was also a Misfits fan, so knew exactly what I was talking about when I told her how it all started. My daughter walked out with some short, but very cute bangs. Best part is that when they grew out, they grew out evenly and still look great. Thanks Great Clips!

I explained that the item had been sold a couple of years ago, or maybe even three or four. She proceeded to tell me that she had never heard of it, that she is only 18, and that she would have been 14 when the item came out. She then informed me that she had only been working there for a few months and therefore wasn't actually aware that the product had ever existed. Okay, cool. I didn't ask for your birth certificate. I asked if you had ever heard of the product. Then the manager came over and immediately knew exactly what I was talking about. So, props to the manager for being helpful and all around awesome. The point is, if you aren't knowledgeable about the products you currently carry (or have carried in the past) just say that. There is absolutely nothing wrong with saying, "I'm not familiar with that product, but let me see if I can find someone who is." That would have been perfectly fine. What is not helpful is confidently telling me that you've never heard of something, followed by a detailed explanation of your age and employment history, as if I had somehow asked for your résumé. And I'm sorry, but telling me that you were 14 when the item came out does not exactly strengthen your argument. It actually explains why you might not remember it. That's fine! You don't have to know everything. Just don't act like the product is a figment of my imagination because you personally don't remember it existing. Again, shoutout to the manager for knowing her products (current and discontinued). She was the real MVP!

There are always new products out each time I'm there and I always find something new to buy. I usually shop for Sanrio items and cute room decor. Every time I check out the employees are so friendly and offer assistance. They always tell me to have a wonderful day too! There was also one time I called looking for a specific squishmallow clip, and the girl who answered the phone went and found them in the back and answered all my question. She even went in back and brought out the whole box to me. Super helpful employees!
