She told me to call customer service. I did. I was on the phone for over an hour. They promised to follow up by email. I never heard back. My $40 was entirely gone. Then, a candle I purchased from Bath & Body Works exploded and nearly set my apartment on fire. Flames came from the outside of the candle & entirely caught fire to the entire wrapping & engulfed the entire product. I am lucky I caught it in time. I brought it back to the same store, upset, shaken, and concerned. Erin laughed in my face. She showed zero concern for the safety hazard and refused to exchange the candle. Again, she told me to "just call customer service." I explained I already had-and they didn't help. I asked if she, as a manager, had any authority to do something. She laughed again and said she didn't, & to call customer service. This is not just bad customer service-it's dangerous negligence. I've lost money, time, and trust. And I'm speaking up so others are aware. Bath & Body Works: do better. Your customers deserve to feel safe and respected.
