I wanted the results of a Keratin but didn't have $350 to spend!!! I went to see Savenia, who was warm, funny, welcoming, and a great hairdresser! She just closed down her own business for commuting reasons and her experience shows. She gave me the express Keratin treatment (I think they called it a Keratin Blowout) - for about $120 - which has made my thick, frizzy hair SO much more manageable and smooth during this horrible heat and humidity. She also gave me a nice haircut, taking out a lot of the weight in my thick, thick hair and giving me some nice layers. The salon is a little hard to find (on the second floor above the Indian restaurant) but is stylish and comfortable. The prices were really reasonable. I'll definitely be going back and would highly recommend Savenia to anyone!

Ashley was my stylist and she absolutely nailed the look I asked for! I showed her a pic and described what I was looking for and she listened attentively and understood what I was asking for. She took her time and asked questions along the way which is what I like. Shows she is interested in getting you the look you want. Overall experience was great! Salon was clean and price was very reasonable considering what you get; including a shampoo and rinse at the end followed by styling. Renee is so good at treating Asian hair and I was surprised that she has lots of experience with Asian hair before. My hair comes out smooth, shiny, silky and much lighter than before. Intentionally having me come in to tell me the appointment is canceled when they could have called me is blatantly disrespectful and bad business practice. To add insult to injury, when the stylist was asked why she didn't call me to cancel, she claimed she wanted to be respectful and tell me in person! Take your business elsewhere. Reply to business manager: The appointment could have been cancelled beforehand, and there were ample opportunities to do so, including when I checked in at the frontdesk. I was told that it was "more respectful to tell me in person". Why disrespect my time and make me come in, wait 10 minutes, and then sit me in the barber chair to tell me that my appointment is cancelled? It's simply bad business practice.
