I started going here when my long term stylist moved to this salon. Recommend avoiding like the plague- they cycle through employees extremely frequently. Every time I went there, they had new people at the desk, as assistants, and no one stays long. Kenzie was great as was Brigitte- both gone. The owner is extremely difficult. There's an odd, kooky vibe. My stylist is great but I can't speak to others because no one stays long enough. Thank goodness my stylist moved to a new salon. read more

If I could give a million stars to Kiara I would! After years and years of just settling for what other hair stylists elsewhere did to my hair, which ranged from using Sally Beauty Hair Color Dye and charging me insane Boston prices in hopes I would never figure it out, to a very new stylist dumping all sorts of colors in my hair and ruining it (it was woody woodpecker red and tan and a little orange), to a keratin treatment which was done incorrectly and fried out my hair, to finally another who tried to convince me to grow out my color so I can finally go blonde! Her recommendation required me to walk around in public for months with 5 inches of nasty mousy natural colored hair loaded with more grey than I would like to admit. I finally said to hell with this! I found Kiara! Immediately, and in one visit, Kiara made all my hair dreams come true! She was able to get me to be a blonde but what was most impressive, she did it in the most safest way possible for my hair. When other stylists were scared and made excuses, Kiara rolled up her sleeves and went right to work! I will not let anyone else touch my hair. Ever. Kiara's salon/spa is absolutely a delight to visit. I always say there is something interesting to look at at every corner and every wall. It is tastefully decorated and sooo relaxing! Kiara has such an eye for what she does. She uses top of the line products and keeps up to date with trends. My hair is a million times healthier since I been going to her. If I ask her to do my hair a certain color and she knows it's not going to look good on me, she'll be honest BUT make another suggestion. I came here to fix a bad haircut from a different salon. The service was 100% from the second I walked through the door. Krista was awesome and was able to give me exactly what I was looking for. I went here to get my hair & makeup done. I'd give them 10/10 for hair updos. The salon clearly has really good, qualified hairstylists but I'm afraid I can't say the same about the makeup application. I want to be fair to the actual makeup artists who work there and not generalize. I think I just got someone who is clearly NOT a makeup artist which is unfortunate because I really needed my makeup to look good for the event that I was attending that day. I don't want to mention names as times are very difficult right now but my suggestion to the owner is to please pleaseeee only assign people with real experience to apply make up because you're potentially ruining someone's day/important event. I was also very disheartened to see the quality of the eye shadow palette and the very limited options that they had on hand. I hate to say this but I own better products/ brands than they do. Long story short, I had to redo my eye makeup. I wear makeup on a daily basis and let's just that I have mastered enough to not look like an ashy ghost. I guess I was just wrong in wanting a "professional look" that day. Btw, I asked for a natural, wet eye look which the "makeup artist" couldn't achieve because she simply didn't have the right products nor the experience or technique. My eyes weren't even prepped! The so-called smoky eye turned out to be an ashy smudge? Anyway, my advise,..ask who is doing your makeup and look them up!! Ask for pictures of their clients. That should give you an understanding of their work and whether or not they know their craft. read more
