I've been coming to Copoli since it opened (I believe in the early 90s) but I've been with Sandra since before she started with Copoli! She has seen me since I was a teenager and now cuts both my "almost" teens hair!! She has been to my wedding and pretty much knows everything about me! She has been the best hairstylist for every change I went thru! I'm now in my 40s and I would NEVER go anywhere else! Everyone is the best and so friendly! read more

I saw Kristy... I wanted to try something new and edgy. She gave me a beautiful brown color and a few highlights around my face. The cut is asymmetrical and very cool looking. I highly recommend her Kristy. read more

Copoli Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - Lexington, Massachusetts

Amazing haircut! I am in love with my hair. I have tried this place this week and Sandra did great job!

This place is as good as it gets. Kristy has been cutting my hair for years. Everyone asks where I get my hair cut - even strangers on the T! She also cuts both my sons' hair, and they love her too. I recently brought a friend in who was in need of a serious hair intervention. Kristy worked a miracle. It was a stunning transformation. She is so talented. I also like the fact that it is a co-owned by the stylists. read more

Jack cuts my hair for 9 years now, he's great and keeps me going back. The fact I love most about Jack is that I don't have to tell him what I want, he knows it has to be short and Euro-funky and always gives me a great cut for which I get great compliments. I highly recommend him when you visit Copoli Salon! The salon is nice and clean and pleasant to go to. read more

I love this place! After having my hair butchered at other salons I found Jack! He knows my hair and I feel absolutely confident that whatever he does to it will look awesome. Have some annoying grays that have been creeping in over the years, started out pretty early and I really didn't want to start the cycle of permanent hair coloring so he uses a semi-permanent that's healthier for my hair and looks amazing. My only complaint is that they're 3000 miles away from my new home!! I come home to Lex a couple times of year and without fail my first phone call after booking my flight is to Copoli Salon to make sure I can get in with Jack while I'm home :) read more

I love Copoli Salon! I come every few months to see Sandy for a Brazilian blowout and haircut - she is AMAZING!!! All of the staff is extremely nice and accommodating, and I can't recommend this salon enough! read more

Kristi is a great stylist and colorist. I came to Kristi after 30 years with another stylist who retired. Making a change is always difficult, I have been so pleased with her work and the salon staff. I have very short hair and changes are very noticeable. She listens to what you want her to do, offers great suggestions and works efficiently. Everyone at Copoli Salon is friendly. The salon is spotless and they have a great selection of hair products. Book your appointment today. You won't be disappointed. read more

I love Copoli Salon! It is small but neat and tidy and they take good care of your hair. I have been going to Jack and I really like what he does to my hair. He is a great stylist! After moving away from Lexington area to Europe I still wait to go back there to get a hair cut :) Highly recommended! read more

I have always enjoyed the relaxed environment at Copoli Salon. The stylists are all professionals and not pretentious in the least, although they are in upscale salon. I am grateful for finding Scott. He took the time at our first consultation to show me hairstyles on his phone that he suggested for me. I have truly loved my haircuts from Scott! read more

The salon is incredibly insensitive and rude to customers with special needs. Two young students with special needs could not enter into the front entrance of the store as there was a step so they asked me, their teacher, to go in and ask where the handicap entrance was. The receptionist was not at the front desk so a stylist came over to assist. The stylist, Nushi, appeared annoyed and used a short, negative tone of voice and said the handicap entrance was "out back" (although we could not find it earlier so it was very poorly marked). I then said that the students wanted to come in to ask questions about a prices of a haircut. Nushi then replied "We don't have time". This is NOT the way to professionally speak to customers, especially those with disabilities. Upon arrival back at school, I called the salon. She left a message with the receptionist to have someone call her after explaining what had taken place. After a few minutes, Nushi called and left me voicemail saying that she took her time and answered all of my questions which was not rude, and that next time I should "be careful". I then called back to speak with her directly, hoping to clear up any confusion of what took place. When speaking to her on the phone, she yelled at me and continued to repeat that she was not rude. There was no apology, no confusion, and absolutely no customer support or validation regarding the incident. When I realized I was getting no where with her, I asked to speak to one of the owners. The owner listened to my concerns and description of what happened and was much more professional in his demeanor. However, he claimed it was because Nushi was from Albania. While I can appreciate if there was a cultural or a language barrier here, the way in which she spoke to me in the salon, in the voicemail, and on the phone was very inappropriate, rude, and frankly a horrible reminder of how difficult people can be. Fortunately, I was able to make this into a teachable moment for my two students with disabilities. They were able to witness this incident first hand and hopefully will not think all people are like Nushi or those at Copoli Salon. read more

I had my hair cut at Copoli Salon about a week or so ago and have to say that I am pretty happy with the results. The stylist did a great job, and the salon was super full and busy (which is usually a good sign). While I might not go back to the particular stylist they gave me (I felt like she was asking a few too personal questions), it was a clean place, and I love my hair cut. I definitely plan to go back to Copoli . . . I'll probably just ask for a different stylist. A couple of things to note - they do take credit cards but told me they prefer that you tip in cash. And, since it's in downtown Lexington, sometimes street parking can be a little tough to get. I had an early morning appointment, which was helpful. read more

I LOVE my hair stylist at this salon, Nushi. She's amazing- she gives me a great cut every time and is so sweet! This place is nice and professional and the prices are acceptable, not cheap but not outrageous. I think $35-40 for a wash/cut/dry. They have nice products and it has a clean and lively atmosphere. I did have one experience I didn't care for though. I got a manicure done and the girl doing it was really edgy and unpleasant to talk with. But this was just a particular person... next time I wouldn't book with her. read more

After much exploration regarding Salons in Lexington, I chose Copoli and scheduled a hair cut with Kristy. Nice place, bigger than I thought and very pleasant, friendly staff. Kristy was wonderful, such a nice person, and very talented. I was really pleased with my hair cut and just the over all experience. I will definitely return. read more

They give good hair. I'd tell you how long I've been going here but then I might date myself. Talented stylists with huge clientele who keep up with the latest techniques. Good hair need not be found only on Newbury Street. read more

This place is awesome! I was trying to find a salon in close proximity and this met my needs. I was surprised that such a plain and simple environment could offer such great services. When you walk in it appears almost like a salon that has not changed since the 80's, yet their skills and services exceed my expectation. I have only tried Sandy, but the other staff all are friendly and professional. Sandy is very detail oriented and pays close attention to your desires/needs. Thank you. read more

I have been going to Copoli for 6 years and I love it. Everyone is nice there! The person who wrote the review with the two handicapped kids was off base. I cannot imagine anyone there behaving in such a way. I myself am handicapped and the staff has been thoughtful and considerate when I come in. Yes, there is a handicapped entrance and I've used it especially the last couple of years. Kristy is the person who cuts my hair. She's great. My color, cut and styling have always been what I wanted. She's very punctual too! read more

I'm using my husbands yelp account as I don't have one. I was in the area and desperate for a hair do, I checked with yelp and decided to go to Copoli's. I was very impressed, Jack really knows what he's doing, I was treated wonderfully and the salon is gorgeous. He did a great job on my hair and with the newcomer discount the price was fantastic, I think even without the 20 percent off it would have been good value for the service I received. I'll be back next time I'm in town. Great work. read more

Amazing salon, very professional, clean and the atmosphere is awsome! I get my hair cut and colored by Sandra she has so many years of experience she really listens to what I want and makes my hair gorgeous, I won't ever go anywhere eles, I highly recommend this salon, 5 stars hands down. read more

This salon has me hooked! I can't say enough about how great everyone is that works here, especially "my" colorist, Javier! I continually receive nothing but compliments on the "natural" look of my foiled hair color. Javier is very patient and listens whenever I explain the shades/tones I would prefer. He then does his magic...[ I like to change the tones according to the season ]. His knowledge of color combinations is fantastic, along with his sense of humor. I have finally found a stylist who knows what I prefer and doesn't over-ride my choices, but gently suggests what looks best...and it always does! It is such a treat to go into this salon as the atmosphere is casual and upbeat with general conversations abounding. They seem to work together very nicely. In my lifetime I have been to numerous salons, but this salon is definitely "a cut above the rest." ... Newbury Street, eat your heart out! read more

i hopped around Newbury St. for years & couldn't find a stylist i liked enough (personally or professionally) to keep going back to. On a friend's recommendation, i went to Kristi at Copoli & she was a perfect fit for what i was looking for. She knows me, knows what i like (& what i don't), she gives her honest opinion if what i want will work or not & doesn't go over-board being super-creative like some stylists, my head isn't where i want people expressing their creativity. I've been a loyal customer for well over a decade & plan to keep going for as long as i have hair :-) read more

Excellent- I've been going there for at least 10 years. Javier is great at cutting curly hair and that is tough to find!

I love Copoli Salon. the minute I walk in the salon to the time I leave, I get greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Noushi cuts my hair, and she does fantastic job. She's so nice to boot. You won't be sorry if you go to Copoli. Not open on Mondays, just FYI. read more

i went there for the first time today. They gave me a 2 PM appointment. When i got there i asked them if Jack was running late since i had to run down the street. The first staff member told me she was scared to ask him because he might bite her head off. The second staff member inquired and told me he was behind 10 minutes. 25 minutes later i inquired what was going on. Jack came out, had a major attitude, said he was sorry but that the "world would go on" and then said it would be another 10 minutes. i walked out. read more

I found this salon simply by walking in looking for a place to do my wedding day hair and have stayed ever since! Kristi was recommended to me and I love her! The salon is unique because they all own part of the salon which makes for a friendly atmosphere. They also do manicures and pedicures. Give yourself a little time to park and bring lots of quarters. read more

I have been going to Jack now for 3 years, he's superb. I recommend him to all my friends and family. His skills and style are top-notch. He is always so pleasant and professional. He gives great advice on style and really listens to concerns about what look you might be going for. My previous review (which disappeared for some unknown reason) said that he was fantastic and 3 years later, I still feel that every cut looks fresh, new, slightly different, edgy and just fabulous. I get compliments on my hair almost daily. I love going there, staff is great and location easy. I lived for years in Manhattan and have had my hair cut by "the best" there and in Boston. I would rate Jack right up there with "the best of the best". Thanks Jack! read more
